Such a tranquil setting with horses and lush green lawns. It's also pet friendly so you can take your fur-baby with. The pool was very refreshing and welcome with the hot weather we were blessed with. The cottage was sufficiently equipped with all the necessary items needed, although a hairdryer will be welcome.

We were in Buchu Cottage. The swinging doors to the bathroom was very annoying and unpractical. PLEASE remove them and simply leave the entrance to the bathroom open or replace with a retractable door. Same with the entrance to the main bedroom.

The farm life feel to the whole place, the horses and donkeys roaming around the property. Love the Border collies, that it is pet friendly, the mountain views, the bird song in the morning. Very close to town and all the restaurants and shops. Was a very relaxing stay! Just what we needed, thank you! :)

Not much not too like, if we complain about the small things about the cottages, then its going to take away the nice farm life stay you get with it. If the linen etc are fancier, then its not going to make sense. Keep it just the way it is. Putting in a hot tub would be fantastic though! But still, not essential.

The venue is in walking distance of the main street of Montagu where the shops, weekly market and restaurants are situated. The venue is pet friendly and my two dogs loved the freedom that they had to run around. The campsite is well maintained, no electrical points though. The Vygie cottage is perfect for 2 people and although its structure was simple, the bed was very comfortable and the cottage is well equipped. The manager Kyle was friendly and attended to any issues that we had immediately and also recommended local eateries and attractions.

The swimming pool needs a bit of an upgrade, I couldn't see its floor or how deep it was.

The manager was super friendly, moved us to a larger cottage because he didn't want us to be disturbed by the wifi company who was fixing a problem in the cottage we were supposed to stay in. It is a peaceful, lovely, farm like atmosphere which my daughter loved. We had a nice swim in the farmstyle pool and my daughter loved that there were horses nearby. There is plenty of space for your kids to run around and very safe. My daughter did not want to leave and I felt the same. Would definitely recommend staying here

For a family with young children the place is perfect! I could relax knowing that my kids have ample space to run around. The picturesque views of the mountains while reading and stargazing at night made this my dream location. Holly the furry animal that welcomed us made us feel right at home. It is right on the doorstep of the two resorts with hot springs and the town if you have some bucs to spend.

In the absence of a soft seat I ended up reading on the bed. Even that is not something I would complain about.

I really like the location as it was in the 1st part of the town and it was very quiet. This i enjoyed. Also just petting the horses and raking a dip in the lovely pool relaxed me a lot Thanks.

Just the back fence at the chalets can be closed up with a hedge or wall that will make it more private as you are constantly distracted by people walking pass and cars driving down the road.

Beautiful location, peaceful and loved the dogs, horses etc. Climbing routes close by and mountain biking routes. Host was super friendly. It was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it! The camping area looked great too (we have also camped here before) which has a communal kitchen with everything you could need.

The plumbing was quite noisy when in use (eg the shower / toilet etc) and the pillows need to be replaced :)

The location was nice and it’s close to shops so if you forgot anything you can just go to the grocery store not too far away. It’s quite peaceful

Definitely need new beds. Beds are old and noisy. Not comfortable to sleep on at all. Other than that everything else was great

The location was amazing and the communal braai area was great. The kids could run around safely and they had a blast. The kids also enjoyed the animals and dogs on the property. Close to great rock climbing spots. Host was helpful and friendly.

The beds could have been a bit more comfy and the pillow unfortunately wasn't great but other than that it was perfect.

The location and our cottage were perfect for us and our K9. For my K9, it was perfect, superb
