Location of hotel for skiing to slopes. Facilities for children - flow rider, pool, sauna Mt. Mocca - nice coffee in here. Brasserie T - best meal La Piazza - really good pizzas, good value for money.
Breakfast - run out of cups, orange juice, certain cereals. Lots of tables uncleared, perhaps more staff are needed in this area. Coffee machine - regularly running out of milk, and staff needing to constantly top it up or being asked to when they are busy. Hill Buffet - ate here once, food was very basic and not the best choices and personally didn’t feel it was good value for money compared to other choices.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Location was excellent for ski lifts. Rooms were large and we had a nice valley view. bar area and restaurants were very lovely and welcoming, private spa was very relaxing. Great breakfast. Very family friendly- lots for all ages to do
Bedrooms felt a little basic and definitely need more pillows! Would have loved a more enclosed shower or bath. It was a very busy week so needed to book restaurants

Location was great (next to the slopes) and there was also ski lockers room, where you could almost ski in :) Our (standard) room was a bit small, but cosy enough for two persons. We enjoyed the breakfast and that we did not pay extra for any services (ski locker, swimming pool and sauna, gym).
It was not possible to pay less, even though we were traveling as two people, not four as originally booked (because one of the children got sick). The sofa in our room wasn't very comfortable as it kept falling apart.

Good accommodation flexibility to allow room for family of 5. Not tied to Saturday to Saturday booking. Pool, and recreation facilities in good condition. Good choice of food at buffet and breakfast for our family, which includes vegetarians and fussy kids as well as meat and fish eaters. Good ski lockers, with super easy access straight out onto slopes. Nice cosy lounge area, although fills up quickly. Nice option for pizzas.
Shouldn't really advertise the surfing machine if it does not work. Buffet a bit pricey. Pool table rather expensive. Could do with a heated towel rail to dry soggy swimmers, towels, salopettes etc.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and we took the evening buffet a couple of times too. The onsite pizza place is also very good and the service across the board is top notch. The hotel, rooms and facilities are all spotless. The location is perfect with the airport bus dropping off/picking up from outside and ski in/ski out still going strong in the second week of April. Yes drinks are expensive (as they are across Norway) but no worse than the mountainside in the Alps. The pool/bowling/playroom make it a first rate family hotel that I would thoroughly recommend.
I liked everything but if I could offer some feedback it would be a bit more lighting in the dining room and some more seating in the bootroom.

Staying at the Radisson made skiing in Trysil very easy - lovely location and ski in/out, lockers, ski pass pick up station, staff very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Nice sauna and fun pool for the kids. Great buffet for breakfast and dinner. Pizza restaurant good for pizza. NIce bar. Delicious steaks in restaurant. Easy to park and really easy to hire car and drive from Oslo airport. We met friends there so we had a lot of entertainment within our group. Small fridge in room is helpful. Strikes me as a great place for families, especially if you have younger kids for ease and there was a cute kids playroom. Trysil resort had enough cafe/bars on slopes for food/snacks/drinks during the day. Skiing was great - lovely snow, great lift system, wide, uncrowded slopes with lots of fun trees - great for kids, beginners and more mature skiers and there were some impressive park areas too.
The rooms were a little basic but we didn't hang out in them long. Rooms lower down not great views but ok. Small, quiet resort so limited options for night dining/entertainment however daytime skiing was great as uncrowded.

Everything was a success. We return gladly year after year to this resort which provides the best of alpin skiing in Norway. The facilities are great, the staff too, and we simply enjoy it. High quality stay.
There is only one negative thing to mention (among hundreds of positive aspects): the portion size in the restaurant La Piazza. After ordering a side-dish and a main-dish for everybody, you will leave this restaurant hungry. Please consider normal-eating (not over-eating) people's expectations for main dish sizes in the future.

I really liked the lobby area with the cozy fireplace. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had alot of options. The three restaurants and the Café in the building were all really good, both atmosphere wise and quality of food. I would recommend the spa for a relaxing moment. I really appreciated that they only let certain amount of people in at a time to guarantee your relaxation. Lockers for our skiing equipment was a big plus and kept our room dry:0) Location was perfect, close to the slopes and other activities, après ski, shopping and more.

The Spa treatment was amazing, even thou they had only 20 minutes massage booking available and I wanted more. The staff was very charismatic. The room was a good size and was very clean when I checked in. Good restaurants and amazing activities for kids, even thou I was without my children. Amazing location.
The extra towels in pool or spa were extra charge, old and not so comfy. Front desk staff was not very pro active in problem solving (although very very nice). The cleaning room during my stay was not so good, so I had to leave a message requesting to empty trash bins and taking used cutlery and wine glasses from the previous nights. Pool area needs more attention.

Everything, especially how convenient it was to stay here with our baby.
I can't give it a top rating because of the price of the room. Paying 2100NOK for one night at the most basic room is just a bit too much. If the room was a bit cheaper we might be tempted to try out your restaurants and leave some money for you there instead of going to the Trysil centre to have cheaper dinings. But it is what it is and people have different budgets so I'm not complaining as I could have booked something cheaper if I wanted to. Thumbs up.
