I like most everything about Hinode hotel and hot spring, the hot spring is surprising the color and smell of the natural volcanic underground hot water, so relaxing! the breakfast was especially amazing every day, so much variety, and healthy one as well. the drink station throughout the day was very appreciated, with an ice cream station as well, lots of refreshments. the staff so welcoming and respectful, always there to help and great with the most genuine smile, especially Mr. Akamine one of the chef in the morning
lots of noisy kids screaming in the pool even at late hours! the rudeness of some Asian customers without naming any community, but certainly not the Japanese, some of the people were not respecting others, the hour of operation of the pool and the cafeteria, coming in in the morning and starting helping themselves with the food when the stations were not ready and fully stocked, and taking large amount of food, especially at the Ramen happy hour at night.

Great hotel. We went in April and this hotel was an affordable option. Rooms are small as is typical for Japan, but look brand new. Kids stay free which made it really cheap (we had two adults, a 4yo and a 7yo in a twin room and it was fine). The level two lounge and pool area is really nicely done. Pool isn't huge but it feels big and spacious. Swimmable in mid April. Hot/onsen pool was bigger than we expected (and hotter!) - good for warming up after the pool. Free ice cream was a big hit with the children. Free drinks far exceeded our expectations in both variety and quality and included some non alcoholic options. Breakfast buffet was really great with lots of variety from sashimi to curry to burritos to croissants! They even had Okinawan sea grapes and jimami (peanut tofu). For Y500 you could buy a box to fill at the buffet to take away for lunch (you have to have paid for breakfast also) - we found this really useful the day we left to catch a ferry, saved us time sourcing lunch. Washing machines are free (including detergent), dryers are Y100/30min. Location is excellent, really close to Makishi monorail station and close to Kokusaidori and tsuboya pottery street.
Nothing. Can't fault this hotel, would stay again.

The lounge access to free drinks, ice cream and ramen is fantastic. Hotel is clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. Bathroom (shower only no bath tub for my room) is spacious with good water pressure and temperature. Wifi works well. Free pyjamas set, in room slippers and toiletries are provided and replaced every day. 5 mins walk to Makishi station.
Parking is limited for bigger and taller car such as Mazda CX5 and Nissan Trail. We were told no lot was available when we arrived and were directed to a public car park 6 mins walk away. May as well because the parking rate is cheaper for us than the hotel’s (1000yen for 12 hours vs hotel 2000yen for 23 hours).

Excellent location and close to the rail line with easy access to the main Kokusai Dori area while being just far enough off the main drag to have peace and quiet when needed. Tons of included amenities (free drinks, free daily events, laundry, to name a few). Breakfast spread was also very good. An easy recommendation if staying in Naha.

We didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, as it tends to get quite crowded in the mornings. However, our family enjoyed the complimentary soba noodles, ice cream, beer, and more. While the food wasn’t gourmet, it was exactly what we needed after a late evening check-in. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk to Kokusai-dori Street and only 3-5 minutes from the Times Rental Car office. It’s also about a 20-minute ride on the YuiRail monorail from the airport. The neighborhood was quiet, and the staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating. Would recommend for its convenience and hospitality!
The rooms are on the smaller side, but for short stays, this wasn’t an issue. Everything was still very clean, modern, disinfected, and welcoming, making for a comfortable experience.

The hotel is near to Makishi station, so the transportation is convenient. The hotel staffs were friendly, and helped us with many things. Also, there were free drinks and ramen available during some hours. The room is a bit tiny, but very new and clean.
I reserved and payed for birthday celebration, which included room decorations and sort of things. However, unfortunately when my partner opened the door and inserted room key card, the light didn’t turn on, nor the projector(that shows galaxy view). It’s a bit embarrassing that she had to walk across the room and turn on the light to see all of it.

Hot spring water was very relaxing. Room was spacious (for Japan). Free dinner between 20:30-21:30 and also free fun activities between 17:30-18:30 (which sometimes is dessert!). The breakfast buffet was good and they switched up some dishes each day. All you can eat ice cream all day and all you can drink alcohol starting after breakfast. Laundry machines were always available and easy to operate. And the hotel location was right next to a monorail station! Very convenient (☆▽☆)
It is definitely a family friendly hotel, so there were a lot of kids. Some were well behaved but many were very loud. Thankfully, the room floor hallways remained quiet and the loudness was only in the common areas where the food and beverages were.

nice room, a bit of small, breakfast was good, limited supply of fresh fruits, no gluten free options. The soup offered in the evening was nice, there was ice cream buffet which was great, there was beer and soft drinks available free of charge (however we dont drink those)
The breakfast area was very loud and crowded, the tables are too close. Some people did not take the proper shower to come into the swimming pool nor the hot spring. Some guests were too loud and did not follow the instructions given by the hotel

Asides from all the amenities one expects from a hotel resort in Okinawa, the biggest perk of the Hinode was the direct access to the monorail, which made not only traveling from and to the airport a breeze but also gives easy access to all the important spots at Naha like Shuri Castle and the Bus Terminal. The hotel itself is located at the start of one of the biggest shopping centers in the isle, the International Avenue, which is another big plus. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the pools are great to relax in. On top of that, the staff is very attentive and engaging with the guests. I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
