Easy access into town, good parking facilities, room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast was lovely, nice portions not too much but enough to choose from, in a lovely brefast resturant room.
I personally would have liked a mini bar fridge in my room, as I prefer bottled water and having the option to help myself to a drink whilst in the room, something I did think this hotel would have had being a Hilton, I would have also liked to of seen a menu for the room service snacks and foods that could be ordered. Rather than just told over the phone how ever the staff where very nice and helpful on the phone and explained very well.

Very comfy big bed (paid extra for deluxe king), great pillows (didn’t need to use our own brought just in case!), great little torch like spot lights on each side of bed for non intrusive reading - really appreciated. Well set out room, lots of surface space and storage. Nice big rainforest shower head. Friendly and helpful staff. Second parking area quick and easy to walk to. Lovely building and just a couple of minutes walk into town centre.
Just a little stressful in the shower as glass barrier not quite deep enough to stop water escaping onto floor but realised limited by entrance gap needing to be wide enough for folk.

Primarily, the location - just a short walk to the Cathedral and right in the middle of St. Albans
To say "I didn't like staying there" would be an exaggeration. But, there were two issues that the hotel could improve upon. Firstly, I felt the breakfast choices were quite limited - unless one paid for what I consider to be a quite expensive breakfast. This was not made clear in the literature - it should have been! Secondly, whilst the breakfast staff were friendly, in my opinion they lacked proper training. I'd be happy to give more details on request.

Modern, very stylish, clean! Great location, very central to town centre and cathedral. We stayed in a joining twin/queen room with our two small children which worked really well. Breakfast was great, fresh and lots of choice.
Hotel rooms do not have a bar fridge to store cold drinks, and no room service available. Restaurant downstairs is nice, although only open for breakfast. 3 seperate car parks close by with limited availability for hotel guests, although many times cars without hotel parking permits were parking in the spaces, which became very frustrating given we have 2 small children and there is no alternative parking close by. Reported to staff but were unhelpful or seemed not phased.

Lovely historic building directly opposite the entrance to St Albans Cathedral. Room was modern, spotlessly clean. Lovely linens and very comfortable bed. Extremely good value for money. Staff very friendly.
Breakfast was very disappointing. It said fresh fruit and fruit salad all there was were a bowl of apples and oranges. I ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup but the bacon was little chopped pieces and the pancakes had obviously been reheated and absolutely soaked in syrup they where hard and chewy. The croissants looked amazing but again were chewy and hard. Shame as at reception were advertising a breakfast award.

Room was ready earlier than expected, which was lovely. The room was clean, bright and had everything we needed for the one night. Location was perfect, right on the high street, so easy to walk to and from the theatre, and around city centre. Breakfast was of good quality, good range of choice, hot breakfast served to you, which is a good touch. It was hot and more than enough for us..
There was nothing I did not like, it was perfect for our needs, could not fault anything.

Great location in the middle of St Albans, te staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, room was great and breakfast is top quality (especially the Bircher muesli)
because the hotel is in the middle of town it can be difficult to find the drop off point (not least because the Cafe Rouge that is used as a guide is under refurbishment so there were no Cafe Rouge signs!) and you may need to do a short walk to a car park. Having said that, the staff are extremely helpful in this regard as they are aware of the parking situation.

Room is corporate but had excellent lighting and storage and was a good size, very clean with a comfortable bed.
Shame only hand & shower wash provided. No body lotion nor shower cap, especially with a waterfall shower head, good job I had travelled with my own cap, otherwise it would have been difficult to shower! Shame not 2 chairs to sit on in bedroom, there was pleanty of space and it is a room for 2 people. Also we would have liked the choice of a 'small' breakfast as we didn't want the full £18 a head breakfast each day, but that is not an option.

The location, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The design and building was really nice, felt very homely. I loved the adjoins rooms as my travel companion and I wanted our own bathrooms. Beds were out of this world comfy!
There was a slight mould smell when entering the rooms. They were spotless and couldn’t really see any unfair signs of ware and tear. Everything was clean! But I just couldn’t shake this smell on arrival. We noticed it when we came back to our room later that night too. Once the windows were open it was perfectly fine. Would’ve been nice to have bottles of water as the tap water wasn’t very nice with a tea or coffee in our room. And if I’m really being demanding a mini fridge. All of this wouldn’t put me off returning at all

We had a great overnight stay at this hotel. It was conveniently situated, reasonably priced, warm and comfortable and the breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful and polite and helped us when we struggled for a parking space. The hotel felt like it had been recently modernised and the rooms had some quirky aspects but it was nice and certainly big enough for the 3 of us. We would stay here again.
There was a little building work going on at the hotel so it was noisy over breakfast but this is just for a short period of time. I did wonder if they could have started the work just a little later in the day though. There wasn't a bath in our room but that may have been my error and for one night that didn't matter. It wasn't 5 star cleanliness, but nothing of concern, just some marks on the bathroom door and the carpeting in the corridors. The rooms were overall clean and the breakfast buffet was spotless.
