Rooms were nicely appointed. Very confortable and clean. Although, I didn't bring family or children to this location but it has a playground set up, i.e, swings, jungle gym and several BBQ stands with picnic tables set up for families in this area. Pool area is fenced and this area includes BBQ stand with picnic tables located inside pool area, as well. The location, when I was there felt safe and secure and I had no worries about cargo in back of pickup truck. Carlsbad Caverns are approximately 25 minutes away which is about as close as you can get unless staying at the lodging right outside the park. Plenty of restaurants from which to choose and as a bonus there is a coffee house called Blue House Bakery and Cafe which is highly recommended if not into that Seattle based franchise. (A shameless plug).

I was greeted by a young woman, She had a smile and was friendly, That is always good to see after a long drive. It is an older hotel but was kept up, water pressure in the shower was great, bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean. There was a restaurant right around the corner (walking distance). I will make a point to stay there again when in the area.

there was nothing I did not like about the Carlsbad Inn

The room was especiallly well organized in our queen room, with desk and couch in one area, bed and television in another, and a separated area for the bathroom, microwave, etc. Very convenient for driving to Carlsbad Caverns. The room darkening shade was exceptional.

The room looked onto the parking, though even that was a plus, since we could keep an eye on our car.

The room was as presented on the foto's on booking.com. The bathroom was a bit tiny, but the shower was comfortable. The beds were comfortable. If you like trains, on the other side of the road is a railroad track, so you can view them from the front of the room. You may find a restaurant in the neighbourhood and a supermarket.

The traffic on the road can be noisy a some times, but in the room you don't hear much.

The pool closed the week before. I rechecked the listing and saw that it was mentioned that it was a seasonal pool that closed on 9/15, but that information was buried at the bottom of the listing. I specifically searched for a hotel with a pool. I think you should fix your algorithm to account for this

This property is a gem. The room was very clean and a great bargain for the price. We were just passing through after visiting Carlsbad Caverns and we got a good nights rest. It has everything that the chain motels have with the exception of free breakfast. For the money I saved staying here, I could have bought a good breakfast elsewhere but it wasn’t that important to us.

This is a good place to stay for the price and I didn’t have any issues. This facility could take things to the next level with some fluffy towels and a soft mattress topper.

Spacious room with a queen size bed & love seat. The bathroom was doable but the bathtub was large. Free WiFi and lots of channels on TV. Microwave & small refrigerator in room with mini coffee pot. Lots of hot water for showers. Black out blinds.

Even though, tv had many channels but no movie channels. The heater was either very hot or off. I did hear a lot of traffic noise but not after 10:30 pm. It’s hard to get out of the parking lot during rush hour … yes rush hour!

It was clean, rooms, toilet everything was specious and comfortable.

The bed was full size which was not specious enough for two persons. Queen size would be better. Other than that everything was perfect.

An older hotel but exceptionally clean with exceptional staff. My wife and I will stay here again the next time we're in Carlsbad. The room was amazingly bright and welcoming. I loved the blackout curtain, it provided us with uninterrupted sleep. I had an accident and was in the ER until the early AM, we asked for a late checkout and received it. With the blackout curtain, we could catch up on much-needed sleep. I can't recommend The Carlsbad Inn enough.

Very friendly family run hotel, when we checked in we met a very nice young man. He got us set up with our room and gave us some great suggestions for dinner. The rooms are very clean and updated. We really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely stay here again
