For tourism purposes, The Savoy's location is top-notch. You can virtually walk anywhere from it and the most popular touristic attractions are nearby. Beautiful décor, amazing food, and clean, comfortable rooms. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

The A/C was broken in our first room (and it was hot in London during those days)--rather than cool, it heated the room despite being set at 18C!" They attempted to fix it unsuccessfully. We had to request a room change. They told us we would be upgraded due to the inconvenience, though we were actually downgraded into a smaller room (twice) in a lower floor (but the A/C worked in the third room). They later said they would apply a 20% discount to our stay, but our stay had been prepaid and the discount was not credited, which is quite disappointing.

The whole experience from the staff, facilities, the most comfy bed I have ever slept in! and breakfast included was brilliant. We had a blip with our room when I got there and Arthur was great at listening and taking time to give feedback and we got it resolved.

Only two things. When we got there are room was a twin but beds were together and then housekeeping came and moved them and put a table in the middle which made a huge difference, was just a completely different twin room to last time. The other thing was the optional service charge is added on every bill, even when just having one drink.

I was running the London Marathon and given this was my first time, my wife and I decided it would be wonderful to really push the boat out for the weekend so we saved up for a 2 night stay at The Savoy. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, the service, attention to detail, helpfulness of the staff (huge shout out to Ben), was unlike anything we have ever experienced before. Our check in was 3.00pm and we arrived 15 minutes early, we were given a free drinks voucher for a glass of bubbles, whilst they ensured our room was ready. Our room was spacious and more than enough for 2 people. A complementary mini bar with light refreshments was stocked and the bathroom was enormous. The shower is something I could have stayed in all day. The real difference was the hotels support when it came to my marathon preparation. Upon arriving in my room I had a yoga mat and foam roller to help massage my legs prior to race day. A private message applauding me and wishing me the best of luck. They allowed me to freeze my hydration bottles the night before which given the heat of The London Marathon on the Sunday was a godsend as I was able to effectively run with 2 massive blocks of ice for the first 10 miles which kept me cool. They bought me up a bowl and jug of fresh milk so that I could have my breakfast in the morning. When I returned to the hotel wearing my medal, the staff gave me a round of applause, I got back to my room and they had printed off a my running statistics which was placed on the bed, they had made me a marathon medal out of chocolate and nuts, which was exactly what I needed after such a grueling race and also had showered me with bath salts and other recovery products that was just unexpected and so gratefully appreciated. Fine details like this is what makes an experience and I have simply never encountered this before and it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in by far.

Nothing could have been better, it genuinely was the perfect stay!

What can I say, apart from exceptional!! Abdulla the manager, was so kind to us, and made our trip back to the Savoy so special. All the staff, Ben, Issac, just to name a few, were simply amazing… nothing was too much trouble, and went above and beyond to make our stay so special. The attention to detail, was so thoughtful, and made it just so much more memorable… we are still so overwhelmed by the whole experience! A massive thank you once again to all the team at the Savoy, we can’t wait to come back. Sincerely Mr and Mrs Smith x

There isn’t one thing we would change!

The Savoy never disappoints. I always feel like a million dollars and I always get a warm, friendly welcome from the staff who always recognise me. I have a disability and the attention to detail from the staff, especially Rob the doorman, is incredible in regards to my needs; Rob always remembers me and the fact that sometimes I use my wheelchair, and sometimes I will walk. I would never stay anywhere else and I always massively look forward to my next stay! Thank you The Savoy for always making me feel so special and comfortable.

Everything was phenomenal as per usual: the duty manager at the reception—Abdullah Ismail was ever so kind, polite, caring and charming. He offered me an upgrate immediately. The restaurant evening with my guest was also fantastic. The room cleaning service was perfect: my needs were met instantly and still water and esspeso capsules of plenty were delivered within five minutes of my arrival. The gentleman at the frint foor are always so cheery, helpful, professional. Thank you for another great stay at this iconic hotel.

Noisy at the moment (from renovation of a historical building nearby).

From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave nothing is too much trouble . From Tony and Michael at front of house to Ben on reception the welcome was warm and genuine . The residents lounge is lovely and Hannah and Teng are so friendly and helpful . Rooms are spacious , spotless and so comfortable . Turndown service is a nice touch . We was lucky enough to be staying when the Christmas decorations went up and they are stunning . American bar is great and service excellent . We finished off with Sunday Lunch at the Savoy Grill and it was superb. Fantastic stay and one we shall repeat

Nothing to fault

The location of the Savoy is excellent. I have mobility issues and need to use a mobility scooter but every effort was made to ensure I could access all areas of the hotel. Our booking included Breakfast which was an excellent choice, great value for money with lots of choice. The restaurant staff looked after all our requests with a warm smile and made us feel very welcome, we were able to spend as much time as we wished over breakfast.

I honestly cannot think of anything that could have been done better. We will most definitely return.

Beautiful hotel! The entrance is stunning and iconic. The service absolutely impeccable. They did everything they could to accommodate requests to make our stay and celebrations as special as possible. The pool and beauty facility is lovely as you'd expect (slightly surprised how small it is, but it was never crowded and the staff were great again). The location is obviously amazing - a stones throw away from the action of Covent Garden. You get your money's worth staying here which is saying something!

Not a negative so to speak, but we would have loved to have stayed on the river side for the views.

Great location and even greater service. We were celebrating my son’s graduation - the Savoy staff went over and beyond in making it special. There were congratulatory balloons & chocolates in the room and judging from the ‘congratulations’ from various staff members (from the front desk to room service), everyone seemed to have ‘gotten the memo’. It made our stay extra special. In particular, I’d like to mention Genci, the loveliest doorman, who always welcomed us so warmly, and Lea of the front desk who never failed to ask about our day.
