The location of this hotel is perfect: in the French Quarter, two blocks from Frenchmen Street. You can walk to everything in the French Quarter and Marigny. The staff were very kind and helpful with each request. There is always someone at the front desk. There is an ATM on site. The pool and bar are great perks, too.

These were minor issues: -the shower curtain was built for a bathtub, but the showers were renovated to be standing-only, so anytime we showered a bunch of water spilled out on to the bathroom floor. We had to make sure housekeeping came in each day to give us new towels since we used all of them to mop up the water. -The walls are pretty thin, and it is an old building, so we occasionally heard neighbors you wouldn't hear typically. It did not prevent us from sleeping soundly, though.

Character of the building and its location. Very efficient and friendly staff. By booking early, I got excellent value. Rooms were incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. I will definitely be going back!

Great bar but no onsite dining facilities. However, there were excellent eateries nearby and far better than what I could have expected in any hotel, so not really a drawback. Had the best breakfasts every morning by walking next door!

Large clean rooms, good free Louisiana coffee in a historic building in French Quarter - Royal Street, Bourbon Street, French Market and Jackson Square in 15 min walk away. Nice pool and own licensed bar in the patio .

Expensive parking USD 45 per day - however it is private, gated and directly connected to the hotel.

It was a quiet, simple, clean boutique hotel. It was close enough to everything we wanted and there was parking on site.

Parking on site was way way more expensive that a lot a couple of blocks away. That fee was also a surprise. No coffee in the lobby and restaurant/bar was not in operation. Also bottom floor shade does not reach the floor allowing lots of outside light and for traffic shadows to come into your room at night. Keep that in mind.

I loved that it was literally walking distance to so much. The staff was AMAZING so polite and knowledgeable.

That we had to pay to park per night on top of the hotel room cost. I did like the fact that it was gated, but the price could have been a tad lower.

There was no kitchen for snacks etc - the pool was really warm but I think that’s pretty standard, and they need to provide ramps for access instead of just steps.

Great location in French Quarter but away from the noise and other annoyances of Bourbon Street bars. Nearby cafe, easy walk to Frenchman's Street, and ABOVE ALL, our room had two lovely balconies for morning coffee, evening sky watching. Also, large bathroom, big and comfortable bed.

A desk is always nice.

The location was a great jumping off point in the French quarter and also on a pretty quiet street! The front desk people were also really nice and helpful! The little courtyard with the pool was nice to have on a really hot Louisiana day!

Our Suite rooms with balcony were fabulous. Very spacious, lovely, quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, (the photos don't do it justice). The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Rebecca always greeting us with a smile and genuine interest in our holiday. She's a diamond! Location was perfect. So close to Frenchman St and far enough away from the hustle of Bourbon St. Didn't mind not having a breakfast on site as there are so many places close by. Especially Croissant D'or Patisserie on Ursulines Ave, highly recommend. Would have been nice for the bar to be open to have a cocktail by the pool. You can bring in your own drink though. Will definitely be back.

Nice rooms in a historic hotel. We had everything we needed for a nice stay. Comfortable beds. Location was great! Just close enough to the French Quarter but far enough away to be quiet for sleeping. There's also a great breakfast cafe right on the same block!
