Good location, right next to Bab Laksour so easy for taxi driver to drop-off.
This is a personal opinion but when we asked the staff via Booking.com chat, they insisted that the taxi from the train station to the Riad is at least 150 Dirham and that we should use their personal transport instead which was 150 Dirham as well (maybe this is a communication error). We asked another Riad we stayed at in Marrakech and they said it should be 35-50 Dirham for a local taxi which is what we ended up doing and paying. Just felt a bit dishonest!

What a find! From entering the front door you are immersed in Moroccan stunning architecture. Originally owned and built by the Caid Sebban, who lived here during the 19th Century. The house was built around three patios. It was rescued from its state of ruin by a French architect, and underwent a four-year renovation. We were greeted by Suki who guided us to the big patio area by a pool where they served us Marocan tea and pastries while she was doing the check-in. Very civilised. Suki then showed us to our room, Imilchil. Beautiful. Discovering the rest of the Riad (has around 27 rooms) I could not stop taking photos. During the day the Riad is peaceful and the roof terrace, in the sun under the shade, was a welcome oasis from the buzzing city and medina. People forget that a Riad is NOT a hotel, it is more a home and should be considered as such. Unfortunately people coming from the roof bar or rejoining their own rooms late at night spoke loudly and showed no consideration for others. After 2 nights being woken up several times during early hours, we asked to be moved. Suki and her colleague at reception were great. Our second bedroom, Dades, close to the entrance in the first patio, was more peaceful. We were grateful. We ate once in the open restaurant. At this time of year it is rather chilly, despite some blankets provided, but the food was excellent. Prices were also keen compared to restaurants nearby in the Medina. Breakfast was OK, the fruit was delicious but I would have liked a better bread. For people eating cooked breakfast, they can ask for an omelette which will be made to order, which my husband ended up doing. One small advice: if travelling in January/February please bring along a warm jacket for the cold evenings at the Riad. All the rooms have heating/air conditioning, so it is not a problem there. All in all we would highly recommend Riad Palais Sebban.
The not so considerate behaviour of fellow Riad occupants, particularly late at night. Not Palais Sebbanâs fault however, it might be an idea to reminder guests at arrival that a Riad is a beautiful home and not just a hotel.

1. Very central location yet very calm and quiet inside, canât be better. easy access after taxi drop-off and a short walk to djemaa el fnaa or the souks 2. The charm and character - beautiful inside each element with detailed work of carving or the tiles. Feels palatial 3. Has a casual resort kind a feel. you can sit and relax near the pool for hours 4. Large, well done and beautiful terrace. looks stunning especially in the evenings when lit up with clear view of koutobia minaret 5. Comfortable room and beds - we stayed in Prestige room at the ground floor 6. Good breakfast - made even great with the Moroccan breads made in open area in the morning. Nice aroma and taste of freshly baked breads 7. courteous and welcoming staff. Made us feel at home (in fact any conversation with them gave a feeling of it being a home)
All great, service at restaurant could have been a bit faster. Not a big issue though. May be we were in the restaurant at busy time

This is my 3rd stay here and with so much choice in Marrakesh that should speak volumes. There are many beautiful places to stay of course but I love the traditional Moroccan decor and the original Palace in which the Riad is situated is really beautiful. There is enough space to relax and the rooftop has great views over Kesh and the mountains. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant in the Riad is excellent and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the medina. There is also a liquor lisence which lots of places don't have so one can enjoy a glass of rosé by the pool. There is also a second little pool on the roof which is great for little ones. The access to the Riad is also fantastic being a short walk from one of the entry points onto the medina which makes everything so much more convenient. If you have small children then book a room overlooking the courtyard so you can have a quiet dinner while they sleep and you can hear them.

Probably the most beautiful property weâve ever stayed in. The location is perfect, short walk to the main centre and close to all the souks. The staff were very nice and helpful at all times, while the room was very clean, well equipped and in a quiet corner near the rooftop pool area where we could sleep without any disturbances. As for the property itself - we were shocked as to just how much bigger it was compared to what we thought it would be from the photos. There are too many beautiful rooms and sitting areas to count, each one as picturesque as the next. Breakfast buffet was very nice with fresh fruits, honey and yoghurts, selection of egg dishes and breads and fresh hot pancake like dishes brought out. We never ate dinner there during our stay but we could see others being served what looked like excellent dishes and one night they hosted live music and a belly dancing show by the main pool. Highly recommend this place while staying in Marrakech.
On arrival, be mindful that you canât be dropped to the door of the place as it is located down a series of narrow alleyways within the city walls. Itâs about a 2 min walk from where a vehicle could go so have Google Maps ready to find it!

Thé Riad was fabulous and clearly restored and decorated with great care. The reception staff were very helpful, informative and welcoming. Beautiful roof area with small plunge pool to relax in the afternoons.
Thé restaurant food was excellent. Unfortunately the staff were attentive only when the boss was there. The rest of the time was spent ignoring us or arguing loudly with each other in front of us which hilariously became the exact opposite when the boss returned. It would have been nice to have staff occasionally check out the guests whereabouts and the option of drinks /snacks on the roof terrace.

The property itself was absolutely outstanding and a piece of art on itâs own, by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. Our room decor was fabulous and there was also a lot of gorgerous indoor spaces and terraces to relax in. It was really refreshing after the busy chaos of the medina. The staff was really kind and hospitable, they did their best to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious and varied each morning. Overall a memorable stay, we would definetely came back and recommend to everyone!
Small things to note: It was a little bit cold in the room during winter even with the aircon on heat mode, itâs probably a issue with all riads. Bring warm socks and pajamas :) Also there was a few ants in our room, but they didnât really bother us.

From being collected outside the airport to returning 3 days later our stay in Marrakech was truly memorable and it was because of the excellent service offered by all the staff at Palais Sebban and being able to stay / live in the beautiful riad, deep in the medina and only a few steps from the lively hustle and bustle of the souks. Walk through the unassuming front door into the tranquil setting, decorated throughout in traditional moroccan themes, furniture and with small pools and plants and rooftop terraces. It is not a hotel but a home to which we were treated warmly as guests. Our room was larger than we had envisaged and eating in the restaurant was most enjoyable and very reasonably priced. The look on the faces of those choosing to visit the restaurant in the riad's courtyard, but who were not fortunate enough to be staying there, said it all. Having done many holiday/city breaks mainly in Europe, the Riad and Marrakech offered us something better than we have enjoyed before.

This is an incredible Riad - the location is optimal as it is right on the edge of the Medina so any car can drop you one street away and yet you also get the experience of being in the medina, surrounded by activity yet a very quiet space to sleep, also a very quick walk to the Kutubiyya Mosque which is also visible from the rooftop seating and pool area. The rooms and communal areas were beautiful but the best things about this place are the staff and the food!! I lost my phone charger and the staff sent someone out to buy me one it was unbelievably helpful as I did not know the area. The food here is PHENOMENAL! We ate at plenty of incredible and highly rated restaurants across Morocco on our trip and the food here was among the best - the calamari and oxtail specifically I would recommend to all! 10/10 place well worth going.

This is a stunning riad, everywhere you look there is something beautiful. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was nice, and we ate a couple of times in the hotel and the food was great.
Our bedroom was lovely, but there was no storage drawers at all, which meant our room was untidy for our stay as we were living out of our suitcases. There was shampoo and shower gel but that was it, I would have expected at least some body lotion and conditioner in a hotel of this standard.
