Our room location with a terrace that led onto the adults only pool. No stairs! Very peaceful and staff attentive and remembered our special dietary needs. Beautiful view and surroundings, which is why we selected the hotel. The food in the main restaurant was excellent and good value. We were on B and B, so paid EU 38 + wine for a 4 course evening meal.

The room was a bit tired and needed upgrading. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Housekeeping service inconsistent. Lack of plugs ( generally inconvenient locations) beside a mirror to use a hairdryer. The plug for the kettle was under the TV and the kettle did not turn off automatically, so it was a bit dangerous if we had not stood over it. Nowhere to put shower gel or shampoo, as the trays had been broken and not replaced. Breakfast was a bit 'standard' and would have been nice to have a menu/speciality choice.

The setting of Ta Cenc is idyllic if you are looking for tranquility. The outdoor breakfast area set under a magnificent spreading old tree is very special. The warm water indoor/outdoor pool is wonderful

Our room backed onto the spa and was often noisy. If you dont have a car Ta Cenc can feel quite isolated, altho there is an hourly bus service into Victoria. The hotel bar only serves lunch and not at snack food prices, so eating options locally are limited.

The indoor outdoor pool is marvellous and the room is tastefully decorated and very accessible. The latter is particularly important since I am mobility impaired.

Access to the buffet style breakfast. I am mobility and visually impaired and it is hard to negotiate the steps in order to help myself to breakfast. Staff were helpful in helping me but a menu from which to choose the breakfast options would have facilitated communication with staff. A ramp was put up during my stay which helped me access one level of the breakfast restaurant however this is not the same as a built-in ramp. I think that having the breakfast laid outdoors on one level ground makes breakfast accessible to everybody. Also the hand rail in the Jacuzzi makes it accessible but the hand rail in the outdoor pool which ends one step short from the ground made it harder for me to negotiate coming out of the pool especially.

I have stayed in Hotel Ta Cenc many times and have so many fond memories.

Unfortunately the Aircon wasn’t working and when I mentioned it to the reception I was told it was still in heating mode. My room was 26 degrees? Also the bathroom sink was leaking and you got to clean your feet at the same time you were cleaning your teeth. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant on Friday night. Was a little shocked to find the Chef Special was Prawns and I am highly Allergic to all Shellfish. Maybe this should be stated on the menu as part of the set menu that it contains prawns.

Attentive service. Polite staff always saying hello. The spa and other facilities. Clean and plenty of areas to be alone. Hotel was full but didn't seem crowded. Restaurant at breakfast was great, catered for everything you could want.

In this day and age you really don't need a card to exchange for towels at the spa. Surely there must be another way. Service at outside bar/restaurant was a bit pedestrian (slow). It did feel a shade short of 5 stars, a little dated in some respects. Bathroom fixtures a little old.

Ta' Cenc is a hotel which really sets you up to relax, switch off and recuperate. I liked the lunch at the restaurant and the family pool which our daughter was able to safely use without needing to always join her in the pool. I liked that when an unforeseen issue arose, Eman from the Ta' Cenc team intervened to mitigate the disruption as best he could. We felt as a family that our hospitality was given a very high priority.

The coffee was not enjoyable enough also the gym facilities need an upgrade.

We had a fantastic stay here. A real escape! The hotel is beautifully maintained and the facilities are great. Some of our room was a little tired - the bathroom and the wardrobe -but I felt it was very homely, safe, well looked after, and generally didn't affect my stay at all. The pools and the spa were exceptional. The food was very good - we ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel. There are not many options locally - a car / taxi is essential to eat out elsewhere, although some ordered in using Bolt.

A personal preference, but we like an ala carte rather than buffet breakfast. Lots to choose from at the buffet though, so we enjoyed it just fine.

The pool area is absolutely fantastic—especially the outdoor heated pool, which provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing swim even in colder weather. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide and varied selection of delicious food to suit all tastes.

I stayed in a Trullo, and while the experience was unique, I must admit that for the price paid, I was somewhat disappointed. The room would definitely benefit from a refurbishment to align with the high standards of the rest of the property.

Extremely comfortable bungalow style individual rooms with en-suite. Staff were very polite and helpful. Swimming pools are excellent and well maintained. Views from the hotel complex add to the relaxing ambience.

The window in the bathroom had a hole in the flyscreen frame which allow ants to enter. Not a major issue as they dropped into the bath where they could be easily flushed away.

Beautiful position. Lovely environment. Out if season Feb visit with our daughter - half board. Very good breakfast.

Beds were uncomfortable - particularly the sofa bed. The food for dinner was a bit hit and miss…not the quality we were expecting as we’d’ already eaten in the coastal bistro on the cliff last summer and thought it would be the same quality. Not so. Unfortunately it rained a lot during our stay and our bungalow had several bad leaks and we had water in our room and bathroom…some upkeep needed.
