My capsule was very clean and comfortable. It was super quiet and the bathroom facilities were super clean. I liked the fact that there was a place to lock my luggage and my valuables inside the capsule. The location is very convenient as it is like 1 minute walk from Kuramae station and several convenient stores and 24-hour restaurants nearby! Bonus point for the lounge where we can read mangas (even English versions are provided).

There was everything you might need in a bathroom. Enough space, to put your things or hang, and lots fo good details. The bed was comfortable. You have locked luggage storage under your bed which I liked a lot, and a small locker for your valuables.

Each staff has different language skills. It was my second stay (12 days ago, I stayed here for another 2 days) They got my passport in my first stay and they had copied already. That's why my passport was in my luggage, I provided its copy for them, he insisted that I should provide the passport again and copied it again. He didn't listened to me or did'nt understand me.

Had an amazing stay here! Facilities are all super clean, modern, and comfortable. The pods are very spacious, the area under the bed is quite large and fit my luggage + all my belongings very easily. The pods are also well equipped with a TV, foldable table, outlets, and even a little lock box. Extra bonus was that it's right next to the train station, which made it very convenient to get around Tokyo. I spent 4 nights here and would 100% stay here again!

Only minor complaints are that the pillow was a bit too hard for my personal preference, and the heating was a bit too strong / pods would get a bit hot and stuffy

Locked luggage space, all functions when you are in bed, lightening, small locker, bed was comfortable. Location was 2 mins walk from kuramae st and it is good there is direct line for haneda airport.. Staff was usually gentle, they try to help when you ask something but from my experience, they do their job, they are not very talkative:) In shared bathrooms, you have everytging you need, some nice details, too. Water, hot water is available. Common area is big enough with different styles seating arrangements, individuals or tables but noone yalks to eachother. It is about us, travellers. Some small warm up activities would be really good! Happy hour, etc.

Close to the Asakusa line and 5 mins walk to Oedo Line. Very clean and nice staff.

The space is big and the ceiling is high. You have tv and storage underneath your bed. This is a nice place to stay, and this is my third time to stayed there, but could be my last time because there are always always people making noisy and packing their package after 11pm. It’s good to have a big storage space under your bed but it’s really annoyed me that people just don’t care about others and keep make noisy.

If you want to try a capsule hotel, then this could very well be your choice. Tokyo being a collection of grand sub-centers, this one was a very convenient for all NE locations of Tokyo, Skytree and Ueno sights included. But the best for me was the apparently recent face-lift of the embankment of the main river flowing into Tokio bay, just two blocks away. First evening, after my first beer, I walked up and got envious of all the scores of joggers on the embankment, only to decide to join them the next evening, which I did (7 km decent pace). There are two different metro lines passing nearby, I always chose the wrong one but it was always my fault, so having two of them is really an upside not downside, just make sure you know what you want! :).

I managed to pay some semi-serious money for this stay and, I am still flabbergasted with the pricing of Tokio accommodation. One day it is very affordable, the next day the same location is twice as expensive. Still have not cracked that enigma wrapped in a shroud of mystery, perhaps it is all revealed to me next time?

The hostel is right next to the Kuramae station (from which you can take a direct train to Narita airport), around 10 minutes away from the Asakusa temple area and around 10 minutes away by metro from the SkyTree area - you can also take a really nice walk by the river there. It’s a bit far from places like Shibuya but for me, that felt ideal since it’s a much calmer area and still has very famous and beautiful touristic spots right next door. The hostel itself is incredible. The capsules are spacious and offer lots of privacy. There is a big lockable storage area under each capsule. You can easily fit 2 large suitcases in there. The toilets and bathroom were very clean and new. There’s even a bathtub! They provide everything you might need - body soap, face soap, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, tooth brushes and tooth paste, even hair iron was there and more… you get 3 fresh towels each day and very comfortable pyjamas. Each capsule has a regular socket and also a USB socket so I didn’t need to buy a Japanese charger. Lounge was really comfortable and staff very kind and spoke English well. WiFi worked very well.

When it comes to hostels, it’s on the expensive side, but I think it was definitely worth it.

The property was quiet and clean, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The lounge area offered a comfortable space to eat and unwind beyond the bed. Its location was convenient, just a short walk to the metro and Sensoji Temple, with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. I felt so comfortable during my stay that I extended it for another three nights. They provided fresh sleepwear and towels daily, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

they don't change bedsheet even if you stayed 7 days, but you can request with a charge.

The capsule is more spacious than anticipated. And they covers all of my concerns about my safety i.e. luggage lock under the bunk, a tiny locker over the head on the bed. Yet i can still enjoy the local tv channel with the provided headphone from Audio Technica. Moreover, the hotel offers everyday towel changes and pajamas which are absolutely great!!! I 100% enjoy this stay personally.

the check-in / check-out time. There are too broad between these two. Check-in stars 4pm and check-out must be done before 10 am. That's the only drawback from my end.

My stay blew my expectations around capsule hotels out of the water! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and patient with my halting Japanese as they explained the rules of the facility. The women’s only floors I stayed on were generally clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with excellent showers being particularly noteworthy. The capsule was comfortable enough considering what they are designed to be - luxury by no means, but still comfortable and pleasant to return to at the end of the day. I also appreciated the fresh free pajamas and toothbrushes provided daily, and the facility’s convenient proximity to subway lines and konbinis.

A little more enforcement around quiet hours might be useful - this is a challenge at any hostel, but I think with clearer communication around particular quiet hours on floors we can avoid most issues. Also do note that Kuramae can be a bit distant from central / south Tokyo - not an issue for me, but something to keep in mind when planning how long you want to stay out!
