The location was excellent. The room and bathroom were very clean. The staff were friendly and responsive. I particularly liked the observation deck on the 17th floor. It was great to have access to the onsen too.
The room was extremely small for 2 people. But this is Tokyo so likely very common.

Hole ways could have been cleaner. Can restaurant serve breakfast with more variations? Could it also serve other meals.

The location of the hotel is in such a quiet area, you wouldn't even think that you were in a city much less the biggest city on earth! Metro station is so close, not even a 5 minute walk to it. However, using the Metro itself, if you want to get your steps in, to get to certain parts of the city, is a walk ...it seems that the metro system in Japan can involve walking 1/2 km or more to get on the right train. That's OK for me! The room itself was good, lots of nice touches. A really nice coffee machine with pods was in the room, (you can get milk, even oat milk at the 7-11 in the building next door) and the fact there is a small fridge is really great! Plenty of lighting in the room, again, all controlled from the headboard control panel, huge TV, which is modern enough to use the RSS feature from my tablet. Still couldn't work out the Bluetooth or if the TV even had that feature. Nice comfy double bed, everything was very clean and fresh, very happy overall.
Not a big deal, but after being so used to the toilets in Japan, this one didn't have the heated toilet seat! Or autoflush.... although, the autoflush might be more rare. Other guests if they are staying next door to you, you will hear them opening their door and if they are inconsiderate (which the ones next to me were) you'll hear them banging and crashing around and eventually snoring....maybe there should be a questionnaire in hotels for people who snore like elephants...

Good location: right by a well-connected metro station, in the heart of the government district (therefore not many tourist attractions around). The room, while small by Western standards, was so carefully designed & equipped that it actually felt quite luxurious; I've lived in much bigger, much less comfortable spaces. I didn't try the on-site onsen but other guests were very satisfied. Coin laundry was efficient and reliable. The staff arranged for the dispatch of a large suitcase from Tokyo to Kyoto quickly and successfully.
I don't expect all Japanese to speak all (or any) English; nor the staff of every hotel or ryokan in the country. But a large, expensive, prestigious hotel which was hosting a lot of important-looking foreign delegations as well as tourists should have more staff who can communicate by more than just waving their phones at us. The 'Western'' breakfast dishes were hardly warm at all and might have upset a delicate stomach.

If you're planning an extended stay in Tokyo, APA Hotel PRIDE Akasaka Kokkaigijidomae is an excellent option. We stayed for 14 days, and when our flight was canceled, we were able to extend our stay for two more days with ease. Highlights of Our Stay: Friendly & Helpful Staff – The hotel staff is incredibly accommodating and always willing to assist with any requests. Regular Cleaning & Maintenance – Deep cleaning is done every three days for hygiene purposes. - Daily towel and amenity replacement ensures a fresh and comfortable stay. Excellent Location – The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access Tokyo’s main attractions. Most major spots, including the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station, are within a 40-minute commute at most. Reliable High-Speed WiFi – The internet connection is fast and stable, perfect for both work and entertainment. Modern In-Room Entertainment – The TV supports casting and includes apps like Netflix and YouTube, along with extra content provided by APA. Convenient Laundry Facilities – Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available for guests. Extra Amenities – A trouser press is available on every floor. - A rooftop onsen-style sauna is open late into the night, providing a relaxing experience after a long day. Overall, APA Hotel PRIDE Akasaka Kokkaigijidomae offers great comfort, convenience, and service, making it an ideal choice for both short and long stays in Tokyo.
The rooms are somewhat small but for me it was alright. Check-in starts at 3 pm (Early check-ins costs 2000 yen per hour)

It was a great find for me as I was a solo traveler. The location is perfect, right next to the subway station, in a very quiet neighbourhood. Very good price for room & breakfast, breakfast was ok, but I could have used a few more international options. The only comment I could make is that the room is very small and if you come with many luggages you need to keep all your clothes in the luggage and suitcases under the bed, in order to be able to walk around the room. I understand the minimalist concept and rationale and appreciate the sustainability impact, but it was a bit crowded for 7 days :). Otherwise everything was perfect! I would come back.

This is a great place to stay in Tokyo, there is a subway station right next to the hotel, as well as a convenience store and lots of restaurants 5-7 min walk away. The rooms are tiny, like really really tiny - but the value is amazing in terms of facilities you get and the location. Breakfast included was great - a mixture of Japanese and western cuisine (i.e. tofu, soups, grilled fish - and then eggs, potatoes, sausage, croissants). Highly recommend this place.
The only thing I didn't like is that there were a lot of runners staying in the hotel for the marathon that weekend, and the hotel wouldn't budge on breakfast time (7am) to accommodate all the runners. Most other hotels around the world provide early breakfast for runners during these big marathon weekends, but there was no discussion on this - it was 100% clear they were NOT going to do anything. Which was disappointing.

Location was convenient as it was close to metro stations. Offering Starbucks coffee capsules to guests is an awesome idea and much appreciated.
Sometimes in the evening we would hear other hotel guests talking loudly. It felt like a dorm. Some people would not wait for their turn for the laundry and just open the washing machine while it was washing our clothes and just throw their own clothes inside. There were only two dryers (third one was out of service) which was not convenient as some people would just use the dryer for more than an hour and we had to wait for them to pick up their clothes.

The location of the hotel was convenient. It was a tiny room but expected for Japan. Good amenities were provided. Comfortable bed. To save the environment, they provide clean towels daily but service room after every 3 nights which is good as you don't have to pack away everything everyday given the size of room and available space. If you want you can request service.
My room was smaller than another I booked for family member, just as well I wasn't sharing. The sheets were thread bare. The room doesn't have airflo and the temperature was managed centrally although there was an air con panel, which you could not adjust temp. I was overheating and to turn on air con for airflo, pumped heat into the room.
