Spacious, modern rooms with nice views of the Osaka cityscape come with a washer/dryer which was immensely helpful as we stayed here halfway through our 12 days Japan trip. It even comes with a small sink, hot plate, and microwave for simple cooking. All amenities refill were readily provided in the lobby when restock is needed. Location is very handy, 200m to Sakaisuji Hommachi station and 550m to Hommachi station. No issues with transport whatsoever. Convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and drug stores are all around the corner. Buffet breakfast is very reasonably priced although we didn't try it. Staff was very helpful in shipping our 2 suitcases to Tokyo. I can fairly say this is the best value for money accommodation out of the 6 we booked for our trip.

Operating the washing machine took some trial and error, but they provided a detailed manual so it just takes perseverance to finally have clean & dry clothes.

Fabulous room, big bath and wet room combined. Bed was comfortable. Room I booked was large on floor 17.

Crap view, fridge tiny, check in was on floor 18 which was odd. Staff were okay but not the usual Japanese courteous attitude.

The location was excellent, with plenty of convenience stores nearby and the subway just a minute’s walk away. We also really enjoyed walking from the hotel to Shinsaibashi. It was such a pleasant walk that we didn’t even bother taking the metro. We chose the economy double room specifically because it came with a washing machine. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless without feeling cramped. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Refa hair dryer provided (much nicer than the standard generic ones). The room also came with a trouser press, which was a handy addition. The towels were also impressively clean, and not old or worn out, which was a nice touch.

Although the room was on the smaller side, it would’ve been helpful to have some luggage storage space, perhaps under the bed. The TV was a smart model, but the interface was difficult to navigate.

We had a great stay at Tokyu Stay! The staff was very polite, and the location was brilliant—super convenient for exploring the city. The highlight for us was definitely the in-room washer/dryer, which made things so much easier during our trip. We also appreciated being able to open the window a bit to help with air circulation. The bed was really comfy, and the TV setup was great, especially with Netflix already installed. Overall, the room was quite good, though it could have been a bit cleaner—we noticed some stray hairs and dust on the table and behind the lamp. Coffee was available in the lobby, but unfortunately, the “latte” option was sold out for three days, so we had to grab our coffee elsewhere. Despite these small inconveniences, it was an excellent stay, and we’d definitely come back if we find ourselves in Osaka again!

In room washer/dryer machine is so nice to have when packing light. If you've stayed at a Tokyu Stay before, you should know what to expect in terms of rooms and layout. This Tokyu Stay came with a heating element for those that wanted to do some light cooking and you can rent equipment from the front desk. I try to stay at Tokyu stays in Japan because they're one of the only hotel chains that offer in room laundry machines. I do not want to have to worry about waiting for or bringing my clothes to/from a coin laundry.

The reception is on the top floor - it seems like this building is a combination of hotel and shared work space.

Staying at Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi for 2 nights was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. What truly stood out was the in-room washer-dryer – it might sound simple, but after days of travel, having the convenience to do laundry in the comfort of my room was an absolute game-changer. It made packing lighter and travel so much easier. The room itself was cozy yet modern, with a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and a little kitchenette area that made me feel right at home. Everything was incredibly clean, and the staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Another highlight was the location. Nestled in the Hommachi area, the hotel is just a short walk to the subway, making it super convenient to explore places like Namba, Umeda, and etc. Despite being centrally located, the area around the hotel was peaceful and quiet at night – perfect for a good night’s sleep. Overall, the combination of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities made my stay at Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi truly memorable. I'd definitely return here the next time I'm in Osaka!

While my overall experience at Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi was positive, there were a few small things that I think could be improved. Although the washer-dryer in the room is a great perk, it took quite a long time to dry clothes completely. It’s convenient, but be prepared to wait a while or hang clothes up if needed. Another thing I noticed was that housekeeping doesn’t clean daily by default unless you stay for a longer period. They do take out the trash and change towels, which is nice, but if you're expecting full daily cleaning, it might be a bit of a surprise.

Lovely staff and clean. The first hotel I stayed in when I visited Japan and I’ve been back 4 times. Great staff. I thank staff members Wada, Bando, Takeda, Joung, Kantake and Kishimoto, among others whose names I didn’t manage to get. They make sure you enjoy your time and give good suggestions for times and places to visit and even on other places to see in Japan. Classic Japanese hospitality. The room had a washing machine and you can set clothes in the laundry room. There’s also a small fitness room. My favourite hotel breakfast so far in Japan and decent price.

The hotel location is perfect near the station and also next door there is a place for breakfast so other choices other than the hotel. We also enjoyed walking about three blocks to a beautiful business main street where there was a Starbucks and we would sit and watch the people passing by. We loved Osaka, the hotel staff, the people we met. The hotel was perfect for our stay there at a reasonable price. We also loved that when you placed your card it would automatically mark your floor. Beautiful views as well.

I cannot think of anything that could have been better. We were also happy that we had left our luggage waiting to go into our room and the luggage had been taken up to our room when we returned for the checkin time.

We were delighted with the location of Tokyo Stay Osaka, so close to the subway which enabled us to get easily and cheaply to all parts of Osaka. There was a really friendly welcome and efficient check in and out, with help with our stored luggage. There were lots of additional items at reception and a small matter in our room was sorted out quickly by maintainable. The rooms were quite large by Japanese standards. Overall, a great stay.

Nothing to dislike really...a reception at ground level is perhaps more convenient for guests but the lifts were excellent and the reception staff delightful.

The window in my room could not be opened so the staff immediately moved me to another room, with a window that could be opened, after asking about it. They were very fast and polite about it. The room was specious enough to easily allow for 2 trollers. The washer with dryer in the room was excellent, extremely useful (only available on certain room types). Found it a bit weird that the front desk is at the last floor, because you always needed to go up to get amenities. But definitely not a deal breaker. Automatic check-out is also a plus.
