The location is great. So easy to walk to a station and Dotonbori. Great breakfast! We could check in early and leave our luggages after check out. The staffs were really nice! Free ramen was really good!

- It could be really smelly (From people’s odor) - The sink was outside the bathroom, if someone use bathroom during bedtime, the light could interrupt another person in the room. - The breakfast waiting time was long. It’s open at 7 am. We arrived around 7:08 am. However we had to wait around 40 mins before we can get in. (it was Sunday morning)

The location is close to the local fish market and Dotonbori as well as the subway station.

The room is a bit small, bit not unusual for a hotel in Japan.

We enjoyed the onsen and the ice-cream that was available for a large part of the day. There was drip coffee and green tea available as part of the room. The breakfast spread was satisfactory. Room was overall comfortable and the tatami flooring made if suitable for the small children to sit around. The location of the hotel was good to explore the vibrancy of Doutonbori.

We had to take out our shoes at the lobby and keep them under lock and key which therefore took us more time every time we headed out of the hotel, especially for a young family with young children. We found a pair of baby pants that did not belong to us, and some food wrappers stuck beneath some bedding. There was also visible dust on some surfaces which indicate it has not been cleaned for a while.

The location is very convenient, walkable to Namba shopping area. The room is comparatively small but we known it before our arrival so that's fine. All essential included. Free snacks (ice cream sticks) and drinks (Yakult and coffee) are provided at specific time and floor. Onsen temperature is good for bath (properly around 40 degree i guess) and the breakfast taste good too.

The public bath cannot afford all the guest and sometime you may need to wait at shower area, luckily that area is not too cold. The three hairdryers in girl's bath, two are very week, difficult to dry hair.

We chose this booking after staying at the sister property in Kyoto. I didn't bother to read any reviews until the night before we were to arrive and was surprised about the criticisms (unfriendly staff, not clean, crowded) so expected the worst. While the onsen and square footage does not hold a candle to the Kyoto property (this one is much smaller), the staff at check-in were attentive and helpful and the room matched the Kyoto property in size and style. We went to the onsen around 4:00 pm and again around 8:00 am and the onsens were not over crowded. The ramen recipe is delicious! The location is fabulous.

This property seemed to attract a lot of families with young children while we stayed at it. The ambiance and onsens do not lend themselves to children who are not well managed by their parents (i.e. told to be quiet in the onsen, don't splash about, be relatively quiet in the restaurant, which also has a peaceful ambience - as examples) while preserving the enjoyment of all guests. There are not staff about to help manage this either. We do think it is a nice property and should be adult only perhaps.

The location is good, being very near to the Nipponbashi station, although there is no elevator access from the nearest exit. It is also within walking distance to Namba station via an underground shopping street with shops and restaurants. The room is spacious and bed was comfy. The public bath, although relatively small, is still a great addition; you just have to choose your timing to avoid the crowd. The public bath is open from 3pm to 10am. They also provide free ramen for supper at the restaurant. As the hotel is laid with tatami mats, you will have to take off your shoes at the lobby and store them in the shoe lockers provided or you may also put them in plastic bags provided if you would prefer to bring your shoes to your room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and the hotel location is great to explore Osaka.

It was really nice not to have shoes in the property - we could go down for a late-night snack in the hotel kitchen in our socks from the hotel, go to the hot springs in socks, etc. It really made the place feel more like home. The hot spring was great, the room was comfortable as well. Really liked the location, which was close to great food and drinks.

When reserving with Booking.com, the hotel does not provide an invoice upon checkout, so it was a bit of a runaround to get my invoice. Booking was saying to get it at the property, and Onyado was saying I need to get it from Booking.

Location was fantastic. Just a few steps away from the famous Doutonbori Street and close to subway trains. Room was spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. Onsen was lovely although the really hot water is something i needed to get use to. Loved the nightly free ramen on offer.

The water pressure in the bathrooms needs improvement. At times, the water was just trickling out when i was showering. The place has a no shoe policy because of their tatami mats which is great however, some people walk around bare foot which I find a bit smelly so would've preferred if they made guests wear the socks provided when walking around the hotel.

The esthetic was wonderful, You take your shoes off when you arrive, and walk on the tatami mats. They provide a set of pjs you can switch into. And if the size is wrong, they can exchange rhem in the reception. The room was clean, great, big and spacious. The breakfast was so amazing. The onsen was nice, the womens onsen is very crowded in the evening between 9pm and 12 pm (maybe even later), just be aware of that. Tattoos are NOT allowed. Even small ones. There are free icecream and free ramen in the evening. The staff was very friendly. And the location is very close to the station.
