The staff was very good. Location very good, also very clean.

It would have been nice to have a glass or a cup in the room.

The location was perfect. The bathtub although shared was clean and brilliant after a long day walking especially if raining. They lend you umbrellas for free Staff are very friendly and helpful.l and it's beautifully clean, always.

Communication after hours is not fast. I got the wrong location but was probably my google maps, although I wasn't the first one with that problem. Not ideal if you want to sleep in - cleaning starts around 9am. If you can't handle earplugs and have a very light sleep this is not for you. Otherwise, it's brilliant. Nothing is free and facilities don't allow much cooking but there are many options available around so it's not much of a problem.

It was a nice clean place, I had everything I may needed in my room, very tidy and clean. The bathroom on first floor was huge with a nice bathtub which was great after a long day walk. The location was also awesome, I could walk to main attractions and one day I came back to rest midday which was nice

As I expected and read in reviews you could hear noises from outside of your room but I was mainly there for sleep and with earplugs I was fine.

Location nice. Near a famous restaurant zone, minimarkets (combini) and temples

Could be a better communication: They supposed to send instructions for the entrance one day before. But I never received them. In consequence, I arrive very late and tired just to read the instructions in the door, were easy but tired and sleepy after a 14 hours flight, I almost can't understand them in that moment.

Once you are checked in you can do as you please, if you want to be in all day or out it is up to you. It has a great location close to all the main attractions so you can be there early to beat the crowds, even before the transportation starts working as you can go by foot. It was very clean and the staff were really nice. Plus the bonus is that you get the WHOLE ROOM to yourself for cheaper than a capsule hotel. When I return to Japan I will most definitely book this stay again.

my room was located just next to the shower, and the walls are quite thin, so people showering late at night kept me awake, and early morning I was woken up by someone showering

It is close to Kiyomizu Dera temple, ninenzaka walk... you probably get good night shots of the area at night... Beds are very comfortable for your to have a good nights rest and the room was surprisingly spacious and clean... very basic no tv in the room but if want to have a nice comfortable bed to rest after long walk this would be the place to be... Closer to get to by bus when you stop at The Kiyomizu Michi bus stop, make sure you read or see the email on how to get to this hotel Managed to meet staff when arrived early and was properly briefed

It would have been better if water refill for hot and cold water was provided Instead or having to purchase When you return in at night certain areas are bit dark but it’s still safe

The staff is very nice! The showers, bathroom and bedrooms were all super clean! Close to the popular Gion district and beautiful shrines! For the location it’s really good value!

I had the room right next to the shower, so it was pretty noisy! It felt like I was in the bathroom. In general the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything :(

Comfortable, clean bed, clean bathroom and toilet. Room size is perfect for solo travellers. Perfect location, few minutes walks from most cultural attractions but not in the middle of the tourist crowd.

you can own the room which is the standard size (big enough for 1 person). Even you have to share the restroom with other guests, there is a sink installed in the room which is very nice.

You have to take care the noice you may made during the stays as you can hear the neighbors' coughing or walking sounds.
