I stayed at this hotel for two days with my 4-year-old, and I originally chose it because it was the only option close to Milano Centrale available at the last minute. However, it ended up exceeding my expectations. The staff, from the receptionists to the kitchen team in the morning and the housekeepers, were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warm smiles. The location is excellent, especially for families with children, as it’s conveniently close to Milano Centrale and local trains, making it easy to get around. I also really appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the fresh, clean scent when we entered our room. Air-condition and other facilities are working perfectly well.

Not really like but commenting that shower area is bit narrow for me- just find it hard to move when taking a bath, not sure though if this is normal in Italy. May I suggest too if they can put bath mat as the floor tend to be slippery when soapy from showing.

We loved this hotel, and had a wonderful stay. The location can't be beat -- just steps away from Milano Centrale, with lots of great places to eat within walking distance. The staff was really nice, and greeted us with a smile every time we passed. The lobby is comfortable and well decorated. The rooms are small, but meet the need, and the beds are comfy. Shower was nice and hot. And the room had a mini fridge, which we always like. Would definitely recommend!

A few more English news channels on the TV would be nice. Also, the elevator is REALLY small, which could be challenging if you had a lot of luggage.

The hotel was comfortable and conveniently close to the train station which made arrival and departure easy. The room and bathroom were good size. It was just what we needed for the one night.

The room temperature wasn't warm enough. The heat only went up to a certain degree which was to low for the temperature outside. We tried turning it up but nothing happened, also it turned off in the middle of the night.

The hotel was within a comfortable walking distance from the Central Train Station. There was a loud rap concert going in the park, in front of the station, yet the hotel was nice and quiet! The beds were comfortable and bathroom clean. It was a small room with just a twin bed and enough room for a suitcase, but that is all I needed. The breakfast was spectacular! Everything you would want -- yogurt, cereal, toast, pastries, tea and made-to-order coffee drinks. Very nice breakfast sitting area. I will definitely return to this hotel. It is a gem!

The elevator is slow, but there is an elevator! There was nothing else lacking in this hotel.

The reception was so helpful in any required aspect. Throughout my entire stay, they helped me with my disability scooter without even asking :). Always smiling and always offering sincere assistance to everyone.

Everything was satisfactory and beyond. Great locatin, family atmosphere, very clean (housekeeping every day), very pleasant breakfests (good selection to choose from), reception available at all times. Would recommend.

Apart from its useful proximity to the Stazione Centrale, the Bernina is a very pleasant place to stay, with attractive interior decoration focussing on modern art, a pleasant reception area and a very splendid breakfast, more generous than some of the 4* hotels I stayed in later on. I was upgraded to a suite with a bath which was much appreciated. The staff were welcoming and and enthusiastic. I would certainly consider staying here for a proper visit rather than just a quick overnight between trains.

I had a solo trip and for me was very important to have a safe stay. So I can say, that this hotel is safe and very comfortable. I was so happy about location of the hotel: metro and trains was so close to it. You can walk to the city center easily as well. I need to mention the bathroom. Clean, pretty big, white, good shower and lighting. Also staff was very nice and helpful. And 24/7 reception desk very useful, when you have a night flight and need to check in/out after midnight.

This hotel doesn't have any major disadvantages. Couple minor, but you can deal with it. Bed lighting was quite aggressive, so when you want for example to read the book before sleep, you need to use the ceiling lights.

The location is really good and convenient. The metro station is 2 mins walk and 5 mins walk to Milano Centrale. There are a lot of different hotels around. It’s not dark in the evening and you feel safe. There is a kettle with green, black tea and coffee. 2 cups, shower gel and shampoo. 3 types of towels, hair dryer, basically everything you need. I liked the hotel and would come back.

We visited Milan in February. The floor was very cold and there were no slippers provided and we walked in shoes. Everything else was great!

I liked everything about this hotel! From the people on reception who were courteous, friendly and helpful, to the lovely spacious room, elegant and comfortable. The location was perfect: just a few minutes' walk from Central Station. Also, there are a couple of supermarkets nearby and two restaurants on the same street.

I honestly can't think of anything that could have been better. My only problem is that I didn't have enough time to enjoy it fully.

The hotel is at a great location, very close to the Central Station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The twin-bed room, while not very spacious, was more than big enough for two people. Of facilities, breakfast deserves a special mention -- there is a large abundance and variety of different foods in a self-serve setup.

I only have a few complaints. The biggest problem I had was the rather thin wall separating the room from the corridor, meaning that from the bed closest to the door, the coming, going, talking and door opening/closing from the corridor can be heard well. A smaller one is the lack of a wardrobe in the room.
