Perfect location and gorgeous views of the harbour from the hotel. Good breakfast with great views. Perfect hotel position for walking out along the streets to cafes, eateries etc. Also very close to the Pasar Malam night market with fresh fish and seafood cooked on the spot and can eat behind at tables near the waterfront. Beer also available at some stalls or you can buy across the road at supermarket. Also a very good English pub along the same street, if you get tired of Indonesian food (not likely). Helpful and friendly staff. They also surprised my husband with a birthday cake and decorated our bedroom on his special day. Had read comments on booking .com about noise from boats in the harbour, and there were ear plugs left in the room from the hotel, but, quite honestly didn't think it was a problem. The occasional chug-chug from boats just heightened the ambience. Close to the airport so only 15 minutes drive. Would stay here again. Missing it already!

Laundry service not as advertised, supposed to be same day service. Had to chase up several times and then request them to bring to room, when they demanded cash payment !! Drone activity outside our elevated balcony. There needs to be a sign outside to say No Drones by the Hotel. Given wrong payment information on Komodo cruise with East Cruise. There are inflated rates for Foreigners. Also this trip is NOT suitable for seniors due to the lack of boat infrastructure. No walkway onto boats. Transferring boat to boat with the sea below, and scaling walls is NOT suitable for two 70 year olds. Very dangerous. Both the hotel and East Cruise should advise seniors. No duty of care.

The room and bathroom were a big and had all amenities. The rooftop restaurant/bar staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating.

Not the hotels fault, but it is right across the street from a mosque so expect to hear the call to prayer during the day and night time too. The rooms are a bit soundproof but you can still hear faintly especially at night.

We stayed in room 2058 for 3 nights. Hotel offered airport transfer for 225.000 IDR for 4 people one way. We arrived at 1 pm but room wasn’t ready yet, so we sat in the lobby and enjoyed the stunning view until 3 pm. Room 2058 was a Phinizy Suite. Had a couch with TV area and dining table for 4. Bathroom was large size with tub & shower. View towards the ocean was superb! Staff are friendly and water bottles were provided daily! We also tried the Spa for a couples massage! It was 800.000 IDR pp and was wonderful! Would definitely recommended the Spa on the 6th floor. Restaurant is also on the 6th floor. We tried the Seafood Buffet on Thursday - they grill fresh fish that you can select from. The buffet food itself was ok. Price was 355.000 pp + drinks if I recall correctly. Great Location with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The Harbour/ Port for many speed boat tours was about 5 min walk away.

The only downside is that you can hear the boats and ships. Ear plugs are provided in the room for it. Didn’t bother us too much but if you’re a light sleeper it might wake you up.

It's such a beautiful setting. The hotel has some of the best views of the sunset in the town. The rooms are lovely, new and spotless with a nice layout. The breakfast for a Westerner was Okay, it was Halal, so there was no pork bacon or sausages there is an egg station for fried eggs and omelets and they were constantly making freshly made waffles and pancakes. The Asian selection was fab, with a live noodle station as were the sweets and pastries. There is a cappuccino machine so you can get your fancy coffee fix and they also have a small selection of freshly prepared juices and regular carton juice. The buffet dinner was around $26 and fine if you don't want to leave the hotel but there are so many amazing food options within a short walk regarding alcohol expect to pay at-home prices or more but again there are so many bars within a short stroll. The location is right on the port so there is constant noise from boats 24/7 I would suggest a mountain view room if you wish to avoid this, we choose to stick with the port view and got use to the boats very easily but are both not fussy sleepers. (the hotel did provide earplugs) I would happily stay here again.

There was nothing I disliked.

The room was spotlessly clean, even the windows and the glasses, which is actually very rare in indonesia - or at least in my 4 months traveling here, it never happened to me. The room is big and the view on the ocean is nice. The barbecue on the rooftop (which they do every saturday evening) was amazing. One of the best meat we ate in indonesia so far. Also the buffet was varied and the price was really fare. It had live music what made the evening perfect. Also breakfast was good and they have a real and good cappuccino for which they don't charge extra.

One thing we found wierd was the management personel of the hotel that was sitting in the restaurant and were there for every meal. Acting like kings and getting all the attention from the staff. We almost had to fight to get drinks while there was a parade of waiters serving them. For the breakfast in the morning we had to search and ask everytime to get a coffee. And to get eggs we had to wait for all the managers to get theirs because they took all the space. Also I have to say that the airport shuttle is with 225 000 IDR way too expensive! It's a 1.2KM and max 10 minutes drive! Go on the street and find easily cheeper. For a such high standard place and such a short drive, one would expect an airport shuttle to be offered for free.

My stay at Meruorah Komodo in Labuan Bajo was the perfect way to end my Flores adventure. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the stunning architecture and beautiful setting. The hotel is truly an oasis of luxury, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I stayed in a standard room, which was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The room also had a balcony with stunning views. The food at Meruorah Komodo was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every meal I had there, from the breakfast buffet. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. On my last day in Flores, I spent some time exploring the hotel grounds and taking in the beautiful scenery. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Meruorah Komodo. The hotel is truly a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Labuan Bajo. I give it a 4.5/5 rating.

The staff at Meruorah Komodo were exceptional, and could not do enough to assist.. from the security guards at entry to the restaurant and service staff. Amazing. The whole vibe of this hotel was uplifting and the views nothing short of stunning from the lobby and the sea facing room. We opted out of the breakfast, but other meals we enjoyed in the restaurant were great value for money, and the restaurant manager went above and beyond to help us with dietary restrictions. They were excellent. After some travel delays, the Meruorah Komodo was a beautiful haven for us. This hotel is perfectly positioned on the water, while being right on the main strip of shops and restaurants.

Like nearly ALL hotels around Indonesia, there is not perfect sound proofing, so take good ear-plugs with you for sleep. We did feel the breakfast was too expensive, given it was included at other local properties. But we were happy to explore local options around Labuan Bajo.

We recently celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. We were surprised with a beautiful room decoration with a heartfelt message, a stunning artistic drawing of Labuan Bajo landmarks on the mirror, and a romantic bed decoration with towel swans and flower petals. To top it all off, they even presented us with a delicious anniversary cake! A special thanks to Irene, Devina, Vira, Oldi, Roy, Safri, and the receptionists for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. Their attentiveness and thoughtful gestures made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the location is perfect for exploring Labuan Bajo. We would highly recommend Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing vacation.

This is a beautiful hotel located near the harbor, offering a breathtaking view of the Labuan Bajo bay. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with not only delicious food but also an incredible setting for enjoying meals. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each morning. One of the hotel’s key features is the rooftop pool, which offers stunning views and adds a luxurious touch to the experience.

However, despite the wonderful facilities, the pool area was disappointing. With over 90 rooms in the hotel, there were only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, making it difficult to find a spot to relax. Additionally, there were no umbrellas or shaded areas, which made it almost impossible to enjoy the pool, especially during the hot hours of the day. For a five-star hotel, we expected more, particularly as we stayed for several nights and couldn’t make proper use of the pool. This lack of comfort and relaxation at the pool was a major downside in an otherwise beautiful hotel.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel lobby is spacious and lovely, with beautiful views. We had a signature hill view room, but upgraded to a sea view, which was 100% worth it! The sea view room was less noisier than the signature hill view. The views from this room were beautiful, especially during sunset! Location is also perfect.

When we arrived, there was a delay in getting our room due to an issue with the electronic key card system, which they already had a technician working on the problem. When we asked to be upgraded to sea view, they took us to two different rooms which were already occupied. Third time lucky we finally had our room with sea view. The staff were super helpful and apologetic with everything that was going on. They gave us a complimentary breakfast for the delay and confusion with rooms.
