We chose a suite with a kitchen and the room is incredibly spacious. The staff downstairs helped us do our laundry and find a great one-day tour provider to Komodo Island. It was indeed a pleasant stay.

The bed is a bit tough and hard. But that’s probably a personal preference.

The bedrooms in this hotel were far better than one might expect for the price. Extremely spacious and well appointed, with plenty of bottled water and a fridge and a comfortable bed. It does not do breakfast (which we knew before we arrived) but has a separately owned restaurant attached and the staff were very helpful in directing you to other places to eat, both for breakfast and in the evening. The staff on reception were very welcoming and overall we enjoyed out stay a lot.

Obviously (and we also knew this in advance from other reviews) you would not choose to listen to a 'call to prayer' two or three times during the night, nor two cockerels competing for everyone's attention, but apart from that, it was generally a peaceful place! Probably its worst feature is the very cramped reception area and the rather grotty corridor from there to the lifts. Once upstairs however, it was a different, well designed and modern world.

Komodo suites was just what we needed for our trip. Our room was huge, clean, and comfortable. The room had plenty of space/counters for our stuff, a big fridge, a shower with great water pressure and a partial view of the water. There is an excellent seafood restaurant in the hotel which is great if you are tired after a long day of boat touring. The hotel is a very short walk to the main downtown area. The staff were very helpful!

We didn't realize that there aren't any beaches nearby so a pool wold have been nice but obviously we knew in advance that there wasn't going to be pool.

The hotel was great, the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. THE BIG ISSUE with Labuan Bajo in general (nothing to do with the hotel) is that moving to the small islands is VERY expensive (Angel island 2.7 million IDR- 160 euros for 30 minutes ride by boat, same for other islands) and the beach in Labuan bajo is not nice. If I could go back I would stay here for 2 nights, then move to one of the resorts in the small islands where the beach is beautiful with clean water and white sand. The hotel is not responsible for this and I really enjoyed my stay there!

Nothing to do with the accommodation - Be aware - The volume of loudspeakers from the mosques - unnecessarily loud at 6am and throughout the day - this is everywhere in Labuan Bajo so can not be avoided - the relaxing holiday takes on a different element Highly suggest that they are all turned down

What can I say about Komodo Suites? The staff were so friendly and made our trip perfect. They always were interested in our day and available for a chat. They were warm and friendly and very helpful. They helped me to arrange a taxi from the airport within 5 minutes of us landing, they also helped me to arrange a scooter as requested after i spoke to a very bad rental company. They also organised a Komodo Island tour with a very good company. The room itself was beautiful, it was the biggest in Labuan Bajo and the best price considering all things, the view is amazing too and perfect to watch sunset after a long day out.

Only thing which is not the hotels fault is that it is in very close proximity to a mosque who has very very loud speakers so every morning at 4 am until 5 am there is a call to prayer that is extremely loud.

Perfect location, just away from the noise that could come from the Main Street, so it was calm. Everything is walking distance, Main Street is literally 1min down the road. Amazing staff !!! People are really attentive, friendly and thoughtfulness to make your stay memorable. The room is huge ! We felt at home, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and it has everything you need inside and a nice view. There is also a room service everyday. Communication is easy with the staff prior and during the stay. Can only recommend! 😊

The staff was very friendly and helped us to bring our luggage to the room. There is an elevator. The size of the room is quite big and spacious with a small balcony. Able to see a beautiful sunset from the room. It is located within walking distance to the town/port (but do note that it is located in the middle of a hill/slope).

The shower inside the toilet does not have a wall/shower curtain divider so the floor may get a little wet. Not sure if the water from the shower/tap came from sea water as it tasted a little salty. You can hear loud chanting from the mosque early in the morning but this can be heard if you stay in/near the town area.

The room was big, with a comfortable bed, fully furnished (there was also a sofa, a fridge, a mini-kitchen, a table), with a balcony. The room was cleaned every day, everyday new towels, hot water and air conditioning both working properly, the staff was friendly and the location was super central, but out of the traffic noise. This place isn't the cheapest, but it's a good compromise.

Internet didn't work at all. They gave us 3-4 different options, but none of them worked, not even for a minute in the 4 nights that we spent there. So, if you need good WiFi, this place isn't for you. Also, there is a mosque kind of close and they wake you up at 4am with prayers (?), but using earplugs was enough for us to keep sleeping.

The location is off the main drag, but very close by, so everything is within easy walking distance. The room was huge and the air-conditioning great. Bathroom and water pressure also good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we had a problem with our room, they moved us to another room straight away. There is a delicious Italian restaurant downstairs (not part of the hotel but on-site). Lifts for your bags. Cheap laundry service on-site. We are staying here 3 times while we are in Labuan Bajo and visiting other places in Flores and Komodo - I'm very happy with this property and glad we are staying here the entire time.
