We had an amazing time at Lofos Strani. The place and view were even more beautiful than we expected, surpassing what we saw in the online pictures. Our room was cozy, cleaned daily, and had a lovely balcony with captivating views. The pool was pleasantly uncrowded in September. They had tables scattered around the garden where we could relax, chat, sip drinks, and enjoy breakfast outdoors in the morning. Strani Hill was just a short 5-minute walk away, offering more breathtaking views. Initially, we walked all the way from Zakynthos town to Lofos Strani, which turned out to be a long and exhausting journey – not recommended. However, we later discovered a shortcut down to Plaz E.O.T, a street with stairs that made it a much quicker 15-minute walk back if we wanted to stroll from town. The staff was always friendly and willing to help with any questions we had. There's a small market nearby that stays open until midnight, which came in handy for grabbing a quick bite for lunch. One evening, we hiked up the hill (in Bochali) to the House of Lata restaurant, where guests of the hotel get a 15% discount, and it was a delightful experience with even more amazing views. All in all, Lofos Strani is a beautiful and affordable place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful retreat with plenty of charm and convenience.

The breakfast wasn't as good as it looked in the pictures online. They served store-bought pastries, watered-down orange juice, and not-so-great coffee (there were some tasty things though, like the french toast or the vegetables and the olives and Lurpak butter). But here's the good part: it was super cheap, just 4 euros per person. After a couple of days, we got the hang of it and figured out what to eat. They kept refilling the food, so even if you're not an early bird, you can still get breakfast at 9 a.m. In short, the breakfast might not be as good as it looks in the photos, but it's a great deal at 4 euros. If you adjust your expectations and choose wisely, you'll be happy with it.

Lofos Strani is a nice place. I am a solo traveler so it's important to feel comfortable in accommodation. I want to thank those ladies who cleaned room every day during 10 days of my stay. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is nice. The territory is green and lovely. I feel comfortable there. Thank you.

The only minus is location but I'm a walker so it'd okay for me to walk 20 minutes to the town. I even managed to walk to another beach Tsilivi 2 times from Lofos Strani) There are no places for pedestrians and it's scary.But this is not a hotel's fault but government.

100% satisfied with this hotel! We absolutely loved the breakfast, many option to choose from. The garden is beautiful, parking is big enough. The pool and its area is satisfying. Staff is always smiling and helpful. The room is comfortable with tv, fridge, hairdryer, big bed. Bathroon was clean. We got fresh towels every second day. Location is perfect if you have a car or quad, you can reach the best beaches easily and Zante is like 5 minutes from the hotel. There is also a shop and a little restaurant at the end of the road. We loved it here and we love Zakhyntos ❤

The hotel is located on a hill, in a quit place. You will need a car to go to the beach and to explore the island. It is very clean. Everyday they clean the room and every second day they change the towels and the sheets. The bed was confi and the AC was a bless. The wifi is also good. The view from the balcony is very nice. You can see the sea and the Bochali hill. The pool is a big one, the wather and the pool area were nice and clean. The breakfast was always fresh and tasty, homemade. It was the same everyday, but this didn't bother us. We had always something to choose. We loved the peace of this hotel, far from the noisy town. The owners and the staff are good people, always there to help you. They are a family. We liked them very much. There is a market and a coffe shop right on the corner.

Well laid out, clean and tidy throughout, and the swimming pool is great, good size, and a nice temperature, it was bliss. I was at one point the only one using it, nice. Hotel is close enough to town if you want to be there, far enough away for peaceful nights. Staff are great! Good selection of foods for breakfast, fry up, to fruit, and the breakfast dolmades are home made 😊 I expressed my appreciation to the kitchen members responsible (I’ve had tinned dolmades served in some restaurants) and she gave me an extra half dozen on a plate. The proprietor and all the staff are very helpful, happy, and kind.

Mosquitos!! They were gathered around my door as they entered. I knew it was going to be hell but fortunately there’s a shop just down the road, 10 euros later they’re mosquito corpses everywhere. Not the properties responsible but the shop was really handy!

Location is minus and plus at same time- while it is beautiful, peaceful and charming, it is also 15 minutes by walk on the hill from the center: environment is nice, but if you are without car it is not convenient,Stuff was kind and nice, room ok and are around hotel was nice, with a lot of greenery, and nice swimming pool. Good internet. Close market by.

As previously stated: there is no bus till hotel and it is not so convenient to walk on the hill after beach day. Also, property is pretty far away from Dionisius church, station for Banana beach, Kalamaki and many others. Although, if you are with car- ideal spot to be located on island!

Beautiful gardens and very charming traditional set up We loved it here ,so peaceful and relaxing The staff were helpful and friendly.My husband really enjoyed the breakfast each morning,whilst I was relaxing on the balcony.Excellent value for money .Mini market,cafe on the corner and a a great local taverna .Bochali square is 10mins away with amazing views and other options to eat and drink We will definitely return!!

Nothing .Everything was as good as I had hoped for The location is a little out of town if you don’t have a vehicle but you get stunning views for being on the top of the hill 😀

Great little hotel! Located quite far from the party but just above zakynthos city, great amenities and breakfast was a great deal at only €5 a go! We really enjoyed our stay, staff were helpful and friendly. Pool facilities great! Taxis relatively cheap to travel places and most excursions collect you from this hotel. Picture is a gorgeous sunset right outside our hotel room door!

Location worked very well for us. Near to viewing point above town (wonderful views) and castle site and a great restaurant with 15% discount for Lofos Strani guests. Owner and reception (Elaine) so helpful. Breakfast pastries were top quality and coffee also good. Hotel grounds and pool very pleasant and relaxing.
