Casey is awesome. Super friendly and helpful. We requested a late checkout and it helped us get our family sorted. The beds are comfortable. Our room was very clean. The bathtub was even decent enough to be used. Usually, it's only ever good enough to shower. Breakfast was average/standard. Enough of a variety so everyone had something. Pool was warm, clean. Waterside is FAST. The pool is shallow. Perfect for our both our 3yr old and our teens to enjoy. Definitely would recommend and we will return.

The room is spacious, ample space for 4 peoples and for doing prayer (bonus for us as Muslim). We did request for not near towards pet room floor. We got the 1st room on the main floor itself, across the dining hall. Luckily, it was quiet and we did not hear anything even we were closer to elevator as well. Room looks new, comfy bed and pillow. This is the second time we chose to stay with The Kanata and it did great in my expectation. With just under 1 hour from Jasper, we glad to stay again in here. Hotel is clean, pool is warm and have a waterslide, which a huge point for our kiddos. Breakfast also starts early at 5am and included in the room rate. Casey did splendid job upon checkout as well as the lady upon check-in. The hotel totally deserves 10/10 for overall rating.

We can still hear people running above our room but we totally understand as we have kids as well. It did not bother us at all.

Our room is good for our family. It’s spacious and clean. Well lighted and well ventilated. Each family member can have privacy. I even have my online meeting while family is doing their own activities- cooking, watching TV etc.

I appreciate that they inform me about renovations via text and us going in the back instead of the front. That got me worried. I did not know about the renovation until I booked and they explain that it’s not in them but it’s the Booking app. This is why they make sure to text and inform costumers.

One of the things that left an impression was the staff at the front desk. They were very friendly and personable. You are welcome with open arms from the time you enter the building! I stayed in the king bed suite; the room was cozy. The jacuzzi is a really nice touch, and a great way to relax after a long day of driving. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was great. I cannot complain. I would definitely stay with them again.

The staff was super friendly. The room was huge and clean—easy, free parking. There was a nice trail behind the hotel to walk our pet. The breakfast was excellent and well-kept. We could sleep with our window open because it was very silent outside.

There is just one huge problem with the noise insulation. The hotel is well aware of this problem and is in the process of renovations. We had the pleasure of a loud guest in the room above us who started the day at 4:30 a.m. Still, I would return to this hotel for my next stay in Hinton. Pet fee, but no welcome back for the pet, unlike other hotels.

We could not have stayed at a better hotel for customer service above and beyond, from getting our pet friendly room ready 4 hours early and letting us straight in, to assisting with gluten free options at breakfast. We had car issues and were forced to stay 3 nights, all the staff were so friendly and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. A special mention has to be for Casey on the front desk his empathy towards our difficult situation and great customer service is a credit to the hotel, a very caring person who really helped our situation. If you need an overnight stop we would definitely recommend this chain of hotels and especially the Hinton BCMInns. Breakfast was a great choice, hot and plenty of options, good coffee. A big thank you to Casey your customer service really is 5 star and you can tell you enjoy your job and thank your boss for understanding and assisting on the last night rate. The large rooms are comfortable and cosy with everything you need and you only have to ask the front desk for any extra supplies you need.

Everything! There was a good selection for breakfast. My toddler enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the the hot tub. The staff were all friendly and hospitable and were always very eager to assist us whenever we would have questions and need help. We got the room where we can cook, got all the basic necessities! Beds were comfy and room was clean. Bonus for free laundry. We'll def book with BCMInns when we visit the area again! I've worked with another hotel chain before and have been to other hotels including this area, this one exceeded our expectations. Excellent service!

The hot breakfast was very good, but there wasn't enough room for guests to sit and eat. The beds in the room were very comfortable. The carpet is very old with places where its loose, not stretched tight, easy to trip on. The room was very clean. We didn't experience the pool area. There's plenty of parking and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Organize the breakfast area better, for example put the coffee station separate from the food line so that there's not a crowd waiting for coffee blocking people from getting food or juice.

Our stopover at this hotel turned out to be a delightful experience. The location was simply perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. While we were initially disappointed to discover there were no towels in the room, our concerns were quickly resolved by the attentive and efficient front desk staff. After a brief complaint, they promptly provided us with everything we needed, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. Considering the excellent location, pleasant rooms, and the exceptional service we received, the hotel offers great value for money. It is a fantastic option for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stopover. We would gladly stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

In the morning, we were eager to enjoy breakfast, but we were taken aback by the bustling crowd in the area. The breakfast space felt incredibly cramped and inadequate for the number of guests present. It was disappointing to see plenty of people queuing up, struggling to find seating nearby, and waiting for a chance to eat. The hotel management should seriously consider expanding the breakfast area to accommodate more guests comfortably. With the current size, it becomes challenging for everyone to have a relaxed and enjoyable breakfast experience. Extending the breakfast area would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest satisfaction and contribute to a more positive stay at the hotel.

We stayed 2 nights. We chose to go to Hinton, an extra 40 minute drive from Jasper as the accommodation in Jasper was extremely high. Our room was well priced. It was huge offering a spa bath which was very welcoming after long days of sightseeing and driving.
