Loved everything about the hotel! It was quiet and set away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and seemed very happy working there. Thank you ! It makes a difference! Our room was in the original old building, was very spacious with a very large and comfortable bed. A separate bathroom with bath and shower and separate wc. We overlooked the garden which in itself was lovely and calm, full of comfie garden furniture, perfect place to sit and sample the beer! Breakfast was a self-service buffet and quite the best we've ever experienced anywhere. There was plenty of parking and being just a few minutes walk into town, the car didn't move for the couple of days we were there. Could very happily have stayed alot longer and hope to come back someday! Don't forget to visit the Leffe museum in-house and enjoy the free glass and beer at the end of visit. We were also welcomed at the hotel with a free drink which was excellent! Highly recommend 👌

The hotel is clean, the room we had was huge in the main building. The pleasant breakfast room is light and the buffet breakfast was good. Location was perfect to walk the 10 minutes to the centre of town. The advantage of a large open car park was perfect. The response at the point of booking was very good, plenty of information about the hotel and they answered my requests.

The check in process at reception was very slow. The staff were polite but lacked enthusiasm. Check out was a key drop. There seems a distinct lack of staff at reception and the bar. The whole place seemed to lack something, not sure what, but in general it was a pleasant place to stay. It can be recommended for all the good points.

-Staff was friendly, spoke English, French and even Dutch. -It's a 5 minute walk to the centre and there was enough parking space. -Maison Leffe is actually in the hotel which was fun to do. -The room was big, and the bed was super comfy.

-Netflix should have been on the tv but we couldn't find it. (Not a problem, we are not on a vacation to watch tv) -We booked the deluxe room, but we noticed that there were some scratches in the wall, badly done paint. It misses some finishing touches. (But it was super clean and we couldn't complain.) -Also, don't paint your bathroom black, but that's just us. ;)

My room had a view over the river Meuse and the town of Dinant. I loved opening the windows and sitting beside them to watch the townships activities below. I loved the enclosed inner courtyard that houses the bar, lounge and breakfast area. The corridors and windows are beautiful. I love the incentive to swap daily room service for a large beer! All staff were friendly, attentive and respectful. I appreciated that they understood English and my broken French. I loved the quick responses in the booking.com messenger app. I loved being given a map of the town and local attractions. I loved the book detailing the history of the venue.

There was a bad smell on my floor and in my room. Staff offered to swap me but I was happy enough opening my window and using the air freshener they provided me. I also didn’t like the room key (sorry!). The strange shape was very difficult to insert correctly. Many times I had to put down everything I was carrying, bend down on my knee to peer into the keyhole in order to insert the key.

The breakfast was great. The staff was wonderful. The property was neat, and I bet would be even better in the summer with the terrace open. My room was fine, the bathroom very spacious. My bed was comfortable.

The keys - it is a very large key (which is actually a bottle opener, which is handy) but not the easiest to carry around, and the key itself was like a screwdriver that did not fit easily with the door - it was about a 60-90 second process to lock or unlock the door having to bend down to line it up, and rotate 90 degrees each time and hope it works. I just ended up leaving it unlocked most the time.

The view was spectacular. Breakfast was international and broad. The room was great with bathtub and all necessities were present, even shower caps. We were welcomed with vouchers for welcoming drinks and a voucher to a casino. Great bar and friendly staff, we even wanted to stay one night longer and were accommodated to our wish as well as during check in were given map of the city and explained well what and where, such as restaurants etc. Also, there is a Leffe museum in the hotel.

The doors of the room are from real wood, therefore not fitted well for an insulation from the hall.

I love travelling so I have quite some experience when I say that I totally recommend that hotel! The building is really beautiful and clean, so are the rooms. I absolutely loved my room. It had everything I needed and it was top clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones that I have slept in so this is a great bonus!! The breakfast buffet had everything I wanted and was good, too! The staff was really nice. The beer was great (I say that as a German!) You can park there and easily walk to the center of Dinant, which will take only a few minutes. The view is also great!! From the room that I had and when you walk from the building to the center.

Excellent breakfast with lots of variety. When you enter the hotel you feel like you are stepping back in time but you still have 21st century conveniences. Easy parking in front of the hotel. Upon checking in, we were provided with a map of the city, a book about the history of the building which is now a hotel, a welcome drink and a 25 euro voucher for the casino in town. The staff are friendly and accommodating. If your schedule permits, make time to do the Leffe Beer tour. It was very informative.

A ramp needs to be built for easier access to the hotel.

The fact this is a former Monastry to where THE best beer EVER was created, automatically makes it AMAZING!!! The Leffe tour is an absolute must. The bar area in the centre (old courtyard) makes the place so special. The rooms are very spacious and the view over Dinant is superb. Very clean and everything is authentic yet well thought out. Breakfast absolutely brilliant - so much choice. Smoked salmon and black bread, scarmbled eggs and high quality bacon, as well as superb fruit options and the coffee is delicious. Overall, the staff are VERY friendly and nothing was too much for them. They made our stay so special and memorable!!! Thank you.

This is only my opinion - the pillows were huge and far too soft. This is THE only downfall I can think of. Others may think the pillows are great, but I like my head to be supported. I had 3 pillows and my head sank down to the mattress. Or is it just my fat head? ... amazing hotel!

Comfortable (comfort) room, big, clean heated bathroom, a free daily coffee and thee, very good breakfast. Bar open until midnight. The history about this place. Instead of having the staff clean our room, we got the option to simply receive a basket with fresh towels and other needs, which we could return at checkout after which we received a bit bottle of Leffe. Last but not least, the super friendly staff who all speak Dutch, English and French.

One of the heaters in our room didn't work, so the room couldn't warm up quite as much as we wanted during these cold days. But after letting the staff know, we got a temporary electric heater in our room. They also always forgot to give an extra trashbag to replace the bag in the little trashcan in our bathroom.
