We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. Although our room wasn't huge it was spotless and appeared to be freshly decorated, and had the most fabulous view across the Meuse. Breakfast, served overlooking the river, was excellent and included far more than we could possibly eat - lovely fresh bread and pastries, fresh fruit, pancakes, choice of ham, egg and/or cheese, yogurt and a selection of jams and other spreads. Good coffee too! We were able to leave our bags after checking out so we didn't have to carry them around with us for most of the day which was much appreciated.

All was good! The only possible downside was that the bathroom walls were high partitions and didn't reach the ceiling so you could hear whoever was in there - but not a problem!

This property is in a great location, in the center of the city and right by the river. Public parking was conveniently located. We had a river view, which was really nice. The room was quite comfortable. It was very quiet at night, so we were able to leave the window open to keep the room cooler. We enjoyed the breakfast very much; a nice variety of food was delivered to the table. A sweet extra touch was the candy jars placed in the stairwell.

The room got quite warm during the day, and we couldn’t get much air movement even with the windows open. A fan would help.

The room was at the street side , which is busy, but because it was very well insulated we did not have an issue with noise. It also was a very hot summers day +35 celcius, the room felt only 25 celcius. The heat stayed outside and we did not have to open the windows for air or cooling. If we had to then than the noise of the street would have been a problem. Room is not climatized and we where under the impression it was. We could park our 2 bicycles in the basement. Good for bike packers and place for max 4 bikes. Breakfast was the best i had in years with best pancakes.

This is a charming bed and breakfast at the centre of Dinant. The staff are efficient and catered to our requests. The breakfast was excellent.

We went there during the summer, and so it was pretty warm. The room had no fans or air conditioning, so we opened the windows. The problem is mosquitos got in the room, and we also heard street noise. Of course, this is not the property's fault. Just something to flag for guests sensitive to heat, noise, and mosquitos.

Lovely comfortable room with a nice view of the river. Clever use has been made of the space available to create a shower, washbasin and toilet area which gives it an excellent finish. Breakfast was adequate and served by a very friendly staff. The property is ideally situated and everything within easy walking distance.

If I have to find fault, it would be to say that in busy periods parking is slightly troublesome. Additionally, for gluten free guests, although some of the breakfast was edible, an effort wasn’t made to provide GF bread or even crackers. Get this sorted and there will be no complaints from any potential new guests !!

Wonderful cozy hotel! We only have the most positive impressions from our stay there. Our comfortable and immaculately clean room provided a beautiful view of the massive cliff, adding a special charm to our experience. But one of the most pleasant features was the breakfast—generous and incredibly delicious! The service was highly professional and attentive to every detail. Additionally, we would like to express special thanks to the hotel owners for their flexibility and kindness. They allowed us to check in late, despite it contradicting the rules. This gesture meant a lot to us and added even more comfort and convenience to our vacation. Thank you to the hotel for unforgettable memories and hospitality! We happily recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and luxurious stay.

The breakfast was amazing. Plentiful, fresh, tasty - just perfect! Absolutely exceeded my expectations. Great sized room, close to all the amenities and a great base for exploring Dinant

The only negative we’d say is that if you are tall, it was difficult to close the toilet door as there was not enough leg room.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and the breakfast was AMAZING!!!

We couldn't fully open the window doors because chairs blocked them. If the bed and chairs could be moved it would be perfect.

Good breakfast and very friendly efficient staff Location is central so we could park the car after 5 pm and walk around. Car out by 9 am-to avoid paying.

We had a wonderful stay at Côté Sax in September. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and had a wonderful view of the Meuse, and the breakfast was one of the most generous and tasty breakfasts we had in Belgium. Would absolutely stay here again.
