What an amazing stay, the bungalows are small but have everything you need, with a gorgeous view over the rice paddies that offers amazing sunrises and sunsets! Everything is neat and clean, the pool and hammock and chill area included. There's also a tiny balcony where we could dry our clothes. The breakfast offers two options, we loved the noodles prepared by Mr Son. The property is slightly outside of the town but just 8min on a scooter that you can rent for a reasonable sum. But the highlight of this stay is certainly Mr. Son's big heart, kindness and creativity. He saved us after we had an issue with the scooter and got stuck in the national park. He took care of our laundry after our cave expedition (dearly needed) in record time. He helped arrange a trip to our next destination after our bus got canceled and nothing seemed available. We could not have asked for a better stay or better host, if you are planning to stay in Phong Nha, don't miss out!

Hungphat is located amongst the beautiful fields of Phong Nha, nestled away from the town centre, but still easily accessible with bicycles or a motorbike provided by the bungalow. Son, the owner, is one of the most kind and caring people we have met on our trip. He was so accommodating for us, and him and his family’s kindness really sound out for us. He helped us organise activities, transport, and went above and beyond to help us when my mum was a bit unwell. We wish we could have stayed here longer, and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much Son!!!

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Everything was perfect! SON, the owner, is very friendly and super helpful. The bungalows are the perfect size and underneath them, there is a charming lounge area with a table, hammock and swing. The bed was extremely comfortable. The swimming pool and balcony make the place more special. The pancakes were delicious for breakfast. The best part was the free bikes, we could quickly get to the centre of the village, to Phong Nha cave and also to the restaurant SON recommended, "Lotus". Lotus was so good we ate there 4 times. If you're staying in this bungalow, make sure you go to Lotus restaurant it's only a 5-10 minute bike ride. We also booked a cave tour that SON recommended where we visited the Botanical Garden, Paradise Cave and the Dark Cave, and we must say that the Dark Cave has been one of the highlights of our trip. We loved our stay in Phong Nha and Son helped us make it even more smooth. We rented scooters from him and went on an adventure in the jungle. The location is close enough to the town and the restaurants and very close to the main roads to take you to the main points of interest such as paradise cave etc. The bungalows were clean and even though Son will try to say that his showers aren't the best, they are actually Japanese made and did a fine job. Great value for your money and the personal attention you'll get from the host will make it all the more worth it. Highly recommend and we'll probably be back to stay with Son and his family.

He made sure everything was perfect for us, responding quickly to all our requests and sharing valuable tips to make the most of the area. The accommodation was spotless: clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The location was also ideal, whether for exploring the surroundings or simply relaxing. This place is great! I highly recommend this to any couples staying here. We arrived into Phong Nha on our night bus. I We arrived 2 hours early at 2:30am and the man that ran the bungalows came and picked us up. He let us use the bicycles for free, which we rode out to dinner both nights. He also gave us suggestions of where to go for dinner and what to see and do in Phong Nha. The included breakfast was really nice. Out of the options we had omelets both mornings and it came with tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon and bananas with a Chai tea. The room itself is great, the bed was nice and comfortable and we had a nice view from our balcony.

The loveliest place to stay. The host was absolutely amazing! He picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station and also gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. He provided us with a cave tour which we loved and he also took a breakfast order for us each night, ready for the next morning which was delicious! They did laundry there for us which was a fast service and a reasonable fee. The views from the room were great and the pool was very enjoyable, and the free bike service was so handy. Would absolutely stay again, thank you !!!

Had 3 great nights at the Hung Phat Bungalow. The accommodation is in a quiet spot, with lovely views and just a short bicycle ride from town - bicycles are provided free of charge. Breakfast was excellent and served underneath your bungalow. Each bungalow has its own hammock and table and chairs. The site also has a swimming pool and sun loungers. The bungalows are really comfortable, small but perfect and extremely clean. The shower/toilet are in one small space but very clean and adequate. The accommodation is easy to get to via private transfer or bus which Mr Son will arrange - he evens picks you up or drops you off at the bus stop free of charge. Nothing is too much trouble for Mr Son. He organises all of your tours and gives great recommendations on which tours are best - in particular the E-Caves/Golden Cave 10K trek was fantastic, our best adventure in central Vietnam. Hung Phat Bungalows, and in particular Mr Son, made our Phong Nha stay so much fun and very memorable - thanks Mr Son, you're the best host.

The value for money was amazing and the host is always ready to help. Son offered to drive us in to town more than once at no cost. He also suggested an adventure tour for one day that ended up being one of the highlights. They are very kind and genuine people that impacted our visit greatly.

There was nothing not to like. The breakfast is basic and filling. Possibly the only thing I think needs upgrading would be the showerheads. They are pearcing and thin. New heads would do the job.

The location is super beautiful. We really enjoyed the silence of the national park and fields around us. The bungalow is quite functional with very cool space to relax below. Unfortunately we didnt have the warmest weather to fully enjoy it. Breakfasts were simple but very tasty. We got daily new water bottles and fresh towels. We rented scooters to explore the area and it was the best option :) The host was very helpful, he picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us there when we were leaving. Definitely reccommed - I believe that in nice weather you can really enjoy the accommodation with the pool and facilities to relax :)

The bathroom is not the most functional, but we got use to the fact that when you shower in Vietnam, the whole bathroom gets wet. Not much to complain about :)
