Location was wonderful. It was a short walk to the beach. Hotel was extremely pet friendly. I would rate the breakfast better than most hotel breakfasts. While we didn't use the indoor pool, it looked very nice. We stayed in a pet room on the first floor so there was no carpet which suited us just fine. Room was large with mini fridge and microwave. There was a nice grassy area outside the room accessible via a sliding glass door that served as a great dog area. It was complete with a dog waste can and plastic dog poo pick up bags. Room was very clean. No pet smell.

Sliding glass door in our room was difficult to open and close. Needs a little TLC. Other than that, can't think of anything else that would have made it better for our situation.

The location is conveniently located near the beach. Couple minutes drive to activities like go cart, bike rentals and casino. The room is very spacious and you get a free nice breakfast. There’s dry sauna too.

The swimming pool can get crowded as it was small during peak hours. We were on the highest floor (4th floor) and when our neighbor room came late at night, I can hear the squeaky floor in our room while they were walking. I can’t imagine if the room below us can hear our footsteps especially we have a jet spa tub which we tried to use an hour early before 10pm. We try to be mindful as we could.

The manager Tammy was super friendly and got us the only pet friendly room with a view of the ocean! It was so convenient to drive right out on the beach and the sliding back door made it easy to let our dog out. It was also remarkably quiet for a pet friendly hotel. They had a decent breakfast, and when they found out I was gluten free, made sure to have gluten free waffle batter as well. Really unexpected in a small town.

Everything was really great, but if they wanted to up their breakfast game for us Celiacs, I would recommend a dedicated waffle iron for the gluten free batter in order to avoid cross-contamination.

The location was great for getting to the beach as we were next to one of the access roads. The room was very clean. That’s most important for me. The room was spacious. I liked having a division between the sleeping area and the living area. The lighting was great.The bed was comfy as well as the chairs in the living area. The frig worked well. Kept our food cold which sometimes is not the case in hotel rooms. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Gave us great ideas for dinner.

We knew going in that the elevators weren’t working. Sadly, the breakfast was not good at all. The sofa in our room was really bad. I think they had removed the mattress and along with it, the comfort of lounging on it. Both of these were not huge problems for us.

This was the first time I traveled with a pet, the room was set up perfect. It had a sliding door that made it easy to come and go without taking your pet through the hotel. This hotel is not in the middle of busy Ocean Shores, but has easy 1 or 2 minute access to anything we needed without being in the chaos. The pool and hot tub were very clean.

Our pet friendly room had a small kitchen sink area that I appreciated, but maybe could’ve used a bar towel or paper towels. Since we had a pet we ate takeout and used the sink area.

Breakfast was delicious. Eggs every day with Sausage or Bacon alternating, w/ biscuit and gravy, and of course the usual Cereal, Oatmeal, Yogurt and Waffles, and Muffins or Bagels. Coffee available 24/7. Room was clean and bed comfortable, Nice view of Ocean, with balcony to sit on to enjoy. Room service available when needed. Staff friendly and very professional.

Only suggestion, eventually they will need to update their towels, they were starting to get thin. Hotel was still under renovation, Elevator not available to 2nd and 3rd floors, and Spa not open yet. However, it is stated on their website, and they text a reminder a few days prior to check in.

I liked that coffee maker was open all day.

What I didn't like was that the pool was closed & all the remodeling going on in the summer. I think you would do remodeling in the fall or winter. Not during high peak season time.

Nice room with a balcony overlooking the beach access road. We anticipated noise, but there was very little, and we loved the view to the water. Well-cared for.

The bed was too high! People need to b able to sit on the bed while putting on shoes, and you’d have to be tall to do it. Liked the other furniture though. Elevator was not working, which was a real problem for me. The website did not tell us about the elevator being non-functional, nor did it tell us that the hallway walls were being painted. These things needed to be clear BEFORE a reservation was finalized. We probably would have chosen a different hotel. But it turned out okay. Despite the website saying breakfast was available but not included, it WAS included, which we really appreciated. Our GPS gave us bizarre directions to the hotel. Not your fault, I suppose.

Communication before our trip was excellent. Front desk people were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The screen door to the patio was missing. We told the front desk and within 20min we had one back up. We love listening to the waves. We thanked them immediately! Check out was a breeze. We've been here before and will definitely stay here again. We brought our pet. They are very pet friendly.

There is nothing to report on this one. * Pool and elevator weren't working, but again, they communicated this and why, as soon as we made our reservation. Gave us a reminder as time got close. They told us what was going on upfront. Full disclosure.

Staff was very professional and courteous...if you requested anything it was taken care of immediately and basically very quiet and relaxing

Our shower in the morning wasn't great because the water would not drain properly...we mentioned this issue to staff at front desk and it was taken care of as we went abut our daily touring on the beach. The sink also had a drain issue but all was taken immediate care of. I don't put this blame on the HOTEL as I do the previous guest because the should have addressed the issue and it would have gotten repaired...
