Unfortunately the swimming pool was under maintenance😏

The location is good, and the parking lot is close to the building. The whole living experience was quiet, which is ideal for my family with a little baby. I also appreciate that the room was spacious.

Guests are required to use a 7-digit pin EVERYTIME they enter the main door of the building, use the elevator, and a different 7-digit pin for their own room. It was a painful process, and I wished they had provided us with key card instead.

The location was ideal for our trip and overall the property is very well kept. Pricing at the hotels in the area was very high as this was a graduation weekend. This property was a better option. There are many convenient food options in the area as well as grocery, liquor stores and a CVS. It’s walking distance to Union Station and the metro. It was also nice to find 2 bottles of water in our fridge. I’m not sure if they were from management or left overs from previous guests.

The bed size was not a true queen and the mattress had us dipping into the middle of the bed. There was a rug in the living room area that needs replacement desperately as we tripped over its curled edges several times. The water pressure in the bathrooms wasn’t great in either of the two bathrooms. Lastly, a TV in the second bedroom would have been ideal.

Excellent stay. Location was an easy walking distance the Union Station (has access for the DC Circulator routes as well!). I liked the neighborhood vibe and local restaurants. The room was was perfect, spacious and clean. Rooftop was amazing! Pool with lifeguard, grills, dog walk, comfortable lounging, and views of the capitol building. After booking, I read the bad reviews on Google and was nervous. The three main complaints from people were the check in process, the beds, and issue with fees after they left. I was proactive the day before check-in to make sure I had the invite to latch. The instructions said I would have it no later than 24hrs before check in. I did not get it so reached out to support the evening before via text. They said it would come the morning of check in. I did receive it mid morning ( after reaching out to support again...) Then had no issues. Once in the parking garage, the elevator took us very close to the room for easy unloading and loading. I also took a video tour of the place on arrival and leaving in case any funny business with extra fees came up, however had no issue. The beds were decent. Overall, great stay! Better than a hotel room IMO. There was a grocery store a block to two away for any needs. The room came with everything needed including laundry detergent and dishwasher pods and kitchen dishes and cooking supplies.

Parking was confusing from the instructions. The address given was to the main lobby. The parking entrance was on a different street on the other side of the attached hotel. Parking was $40/day, a little expensive for my liking, however parking was a different company all together. We also saw another vehicle near ours in the garage that had its window smashed and was broken into. Again not the fault of the Revel, but still something to be aware of.

We were a little concerned after we booked that the accommodation has some bad reviews (less on booking.com and more on other sites). However, our expectations were well exceeded - we did not have any problems and the accommodation was excellent. The facilities in the building were also superb - I wish I had access to a gym of that caliber all of the time. I should flag that some people have difficulty with the access codes. Both the doors to the building and the elevator use the building code, and the room itself uses the room code. The circular pads you enter the codes into are high-tech in appearance and are very sensitive - it is easy to mistype the code if you are rushing. I suspect that this is responsible for some of the bad reviews re difficulty accessing the accommodation.

Apartment was amazing. Very clean, modern, spacious. Everything was done via cell phone (entry in apt and building, etc). Customer service was responsive

Check-in is at 4pm but there is no location to store luggage if you get there earlier. Early check-in costs extra i.e. 2pm check-in was $100 extra and 3pm check-in was $65. 4pm is often a standard check-in but early check-in shouldnt cost if no one is in apartment AND/OR there should be a place to store luggage.

Apartment was just as described, bed was comfy, the sofa and chair were surprisingly comfortable. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Apartment was quiet and well equipped. Only real negative was the duvet was smaller than the duvet cover which would have been a problem if the weather was colder. Key code entry works well and there’s a super market 5mins walk up the road with a really a great little bar (Teds Bulletin), which serves food, almost next door. 10 mins walk to union street station, 25 mins walk to the us capitol building

Very clean, new and centrally located. It was only a 10 minute walk from Union station where you could get metros and trains. All the historic buildings, sites and museums were within easy reach.

The Latch app for unlocking doors. As we are from Ireland our phones weren’t set up for it on local data and it was expensive using our data from home. Luckily it was daylight when we were checking in, otherwise it would have been very stressful. Also the reception staff in the complex had no interest in helping us so we had to deal directly with Golbal Suites. However once sorted it was a good secure system.

Gym was massive and well equipped, which is one of the reasons I chose this place. Apartment was comfortable and had most things you need. The free kitchen amenity pack was appreciated. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked fine. Overall it's a good place to stay for a few days where you want your own space. I didn't have any problems with access as some others have reported.

It's a little far from downtown, although I didn't find the area too sketchy. Remembering 2 x 7 digit codes for the building and the apartment is a little tedious. The constant emails from the management company were annoying. Even after I left, they kept emailing me about checkout. A few key things were missing in the kitchen e.g. coffee filters, teatowels. An electric kettle would be preferable to one that goes on the stovetop, but that's a minor issue. The walls are thin so I could hear some noise from the next door apartment.
