Easy to check in and check out, and the area was nice too. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and well equipped.

The staff was a little bit overwhelming with their comments during checking in, also the maid was very nervously knocking for the check out before time. No detachable shower is a common thing in US , I like shower that can go places.

Excellent service, we stayed for 4 nights and all the receptionists there went the extra mile to make our stay super comfortable. We really appreciate it. It is ideally located next to the bus station and the Amtrak one, and on a quiet street just steps from the Main Street where all restaurants and shops are.

It is dog friendly and we brought our 2 dogs with us. The hotel has a roof top area for guests to relax. The cook in the dining room is great and went out of his way to bring food we ordered to us as the dogs are not allowed in dining areas.

The literature for the hotel says it has a pet relief area but I could not find the designated area.

Great location within easy walking distance to the Train Station (Amtrak & DC Metro) as well as the free King Street Shuttle and transit bus routes. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and tried to accomodate.

I did not receive the room that I had booked. Reserved a King and received a double Queen, was not informed at check in that they were overbooked on King rooms and had to wait until I got into the room to find out. Tried to call down to the front desk but the phone in the room did not work so I went in person. Explained the phone not working and was told it would be address by the next day and not only was it not addressed the next day but was never fixed the entire 4 night stay. Just meant I had to walk down to valet to have my car brought around. Bar/Restaurant was closed for all but breakfast (Covid staffing). Did not ruin the stay but were just things that could have gone better.

Liked using app to check in and access room without waiting at front desk. App doesn't work for other areas were key is needed (late entry into building, gym, upper deck) and had to get physical keys. Breakfast was very good (I had omelets each day). Also liked easy access to Metro Train.

It wasn't easy for me to see what hours breakfast was served when looking at menu placard in lobby area. Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right place.

Spouse became ill and asked Front Desk for another night in same room. That room was already booked but we were booked into another room immediately. Two young ladies at the Front Desk (I did not get their names) helped us with this issue. It was very much appreciated.

Everything. I especially liked Eskinder the valet. He was so helpful since my husband uses a rollator to get around. Eskinder helped him get in and out of the car; and he would put the rollator in the back end of our vehicle. I have difficulty walking so it made it easier for me.

The staff at the front desk was awesome. We dealt with four different people during our stay. All were exceptionally nice and responded to any of our requests promptly. The location of the hotel was great, just two blocks from the Metro which we used to go to the Smithsonian and two blocks from the free trolley which provides transportation up and down King St which we used to return from dinner near the harbor.

We only found one thing about our room that needed correcting, and that was a loose toilet seat. I'm sure that if we had reported it, the staff would have taken care of it. Breakfast was just okay and a bit pricey.

Beautiful location on the main street in Alexandria. A short walk or free bus towards the metro station, with easy access to downtown Washington. The hotel is beautiful, comfy rooms and beds.

No free wifi (for non-members), breakfast was just ok but they did not serve any cappuccino (only black coffee). Minor things but for that price you'd expect it.
