This resort was stunning! Absolutely perfect! We were in room 402 and the view from our little sitting area was spectacular! The room was pristine and beautiful. The pool and hot tub was relaxing as well as the main outside sitting area. The shower was on icing on the cake after a long day of hiking, getting dusty, and in the sun! Breakfast was included and was excellent!
Even though I stated the resort was perfect, I would suggest a few more hooks in the bathroom for multiple towels to dry and toiletry bag to hang if needed. We loved the wall sconces, but it would be lovely to also be able to turn them on/off individually instead of all off/on at the same time. Again, just suggestions - we had an amazing stay!

Hotel facilities are beautiful, clean, and new. The pool, hot tub, and common room with the big fireplace are really inviting public spaces. We stayed in one of the cabins. Very cute, very comfortable, and plenty spacious for the two of us. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and had lots of choices, and the coffee was good (very important). Everyone working at the property who we interacted with were very friendly and offered good ideas for things to do and see. Location which seems in middle of nowhere is actually excellent....there is so much to see and do in the area- especially if interested in hiking, scenery, history, and archeology...so many ruins and petroglyphs so close. Edge of the Cedars Museum up the road in Blanding and Bluff Fort excellent first stops to give perspectives on the history and people of the region.
High winds blew out power to the entire county, so one night we had no access to most of the hotel facilities- the hotel, to their credit, offered us extra blanket and portable lighting- unexpected benefit was incredible dark skies, but very cold and dark getting back to the room. Limited days the restaurant is open is challenging, since not a lot of other food options in Bluff. Plan ahead for food. Other let down was view from the cabins....from website, it looked like we would be looking at the bluffs, but the porch chairs faced the highway

Rustic, Southwestern charm with easy access to Bears Ears National Monument and Monument Valley. Beds and rooms very comfortable. Restaurant has great food. The pool, spa, and workout room were exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nothing really. We were there towards the end of the tourist season, so the restaurant no longer served dinner. Dinner choices in Bluff, UT on the off season are very limited, and frankly, not that good. Many good restaurants were closed for the season.

Very nice swimming pool and spa. Staff very kind and supportive. Waffles at breakfast very good. Wide parking area near the rooms.
Carpet on the floor of the room was very old. It should be removed and replaced with a washable wooden floor. I was a ground floor and peole of the rooms at first floor made a lot of noise stepping on the floor at night. Sausages at breakfast were poor quality. Cheese and becon were missing. Apples only were available at breakfast, No other fresh fruits like watermelon, pineapple, grapes, etc.

A very pleasant hotel in the American wilderness. The most amazing part was the restaurant. I felt like I had entered a Michelin-level restaurant. Incredibly beautifully presented and very delicious dishes, with an outstanding level of service, warmth, and coziness of a family restaurant. If I pass by this area again, I will definitely book dinner in advance. The key point is that it's better to reserve dinner ahead of time, as the restaurant is small and there are many people who want to have a great meal. On the plus side, the excellent quality of the internet was pleasing.
I chose this hotel hoping to swim in the pool in the evening after visiting Monument Valley. Unfortunately, this was not possible as the pool closes at 9pm. Sunset at Monument Valley is around 6pm, plus an hour drive to get back to the hotel, plus dinner. By the time dinner was over and I wanted to go to the pool, it was already closed. This was a disappointment during our stay and so we decided to move to another hotel nearby.

My cottage was lovely and had everything I needed, my friend had the cottage next door and it was fun to sit and have coffee on our front porches together. Bed was comfy and lighting was good. I did use the gym once and it was very nice. We went to Dukes twice, fabulous food and service.
I was unimpressed with breakfast and was happy that I had brought muffins with me as I cannot do eggs and waffles early in the morning, more like brunch food for me. So would have loved to have seen muffins and/or scones since there was no real supermarket in the area. I would have liked another hook in the bathroom.

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Really great to relax in a nice atmosphere and beautiful design. The breakfast was good.
The only minus is lack of restaurant on weekends- there are no other options (we ended up buying frozen food from reception shop and warming it in the microwave) The other minus was a group of bikers who brought alcohol and loud music to the pool and had a loud party there - which forced all other guests to leave. No one from the reception reacted to it.

Large comfortable room with quality furniture, beautifully decorated, great pool and hot tub, friendly staff, good breakfast. The resort is close to Mexican Hat and the Valley of the Gods. It is 45 mins from the Monument Valley visitors centre but that just gives you the chance to drive through the valley a couple of times so you get to take pictures with different lighting!
Only thing that could have made it better would be to have a choice of non dairy milk at breakfast.

We have stayed at the Desert Rose Resort and Cabins multiple times - this was the first time staying in the building with the pool. The room was huge, clean, new and beautiful! We also ate at the restaurant onsite (Duke's) and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience - both service and food (although they do not serve alcohol). I highly recommend the hotel and the restaurant!
We would have liked to have a glass of wine with our meal, but Duke's does not have a liquor license.

Beautiful property, great location. Very lovely comfortable, quiet room. Felt very safe. Every room amenity was perfect, everything worked, although I couldn’t figure out what to do with all the decorative bed pillows. Great lizard t shirts in the gift shop, regret not buying one. That petrified log of wood, sweet smelling blooms, charming grounds. Best oatmeal I’ve ever had at a hotel breakfast, thank you!
Nothing major. The room lighting, ie bedside light controls were across the room. Restaurant was closed. The gift shop would be improved with more genuine Native American goods, especially with so many foreign travellers staying at the property. The random “just because we can” resort fee, which I thought was included in my booking.com rate, but apparently not. The tacky, mostly destroyed plastic topiary detracted from the otherwise beautiful and well-maintained grounds.
