Location right on 5th avenue so convenient. Really tidy stylish hotel. So comfortable! Heating and air con worked perfect. bed is huge and comfy, not much floor space but you don't need it when you are gone all day exploring nyc. It was enough for me and my boyfriend to get ready each morning. Cleaned our room on request no problem and provided us with anything we asked. Also delicious coffee and croissants in reception. Will definitely stay here when we return to NYC. Book well in advance of your trip for a good price.

Nothing it was fabulous.

The overall theme of the property is adorable! I love the blue and white scheme and the touch of iconic Hollywood moments and art throughout it. It’s perfect for the solo traveler, since the rooms are the right size and space to move and do as you please.

The only issue I had with the property is how the cleaning staff operated. There was a time where they didn’t clean the room I’m more than one occasion. Leaving piles of dirty towels in the bed unmade along with not taking out trash that was piling up. I did communicate that with the front desk but I don’t believe they understood what I was talking about.

The location and the bathtub were the best parts. It was very easy to access the trains and to just walk the city. The room was well lit and comfortable. Surprisingly very quiet at night. Could not hear any city noise. The ice water in the lobby was great on the hot summer days. The room was very comfortable for two.

One of the staff members just let themselves into our rooms without knocking or waiting for us to be decent to replace the body wash. We asked for our room to be serviced but they did not change the bedding or sheets. They just made the bed. We wanted our sheets fully replaced. The elevator can get really crowded in the morning with long wait times.

The location was amazing we literally walked the first few days everywhere !!!

The room was quite small and there was barely space to pack anything - while we opted in for city views it was mostly down ( the curtains ) because otherwise you see only the people across in the offices. Probably not worth spending on that upgrade. The bed was also quite soft in comparison to a bit firmer mattress we prefer.

I have traveled to NYC many times. I'm Always looking for a nice place that is reasonably priced with a room bigger than a box. This place was excellent. If you are looking for a very clean, very comfortable and quite place to stay in NYC at a reasonable price this is the place. The room was larger than most NYC rooms and the bathroom was big as well. The bathroom had everything you need. Very, very clean and the bed/pillows were so comfortable! It was nice and quite, no sounds could be heard from the hall or other rooms. The location is perfect and the staff was very helpful. I will stay here again without hesitation.

Rooms clean and comfortable Bedding comfortable and linens very nice Bathrooms updated and clean Loved the flooring in room … no carpet

Lobby and exterior elevators a little needy Daughter in law asked front desk to please call taxi for pickup and was told to go out to street and hail a taxi Because she was on the wrong side of the street she could not get taxi that was needed She wound up walking with 3 children to the theater Couldn’t your staff have been more helpful?

Desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Really nice lobby and very clean room, with nice furniture. Location suited our needs well.

It was very overpriced for the size and services offered. The location is pretty charmless - it’s what we needed but I wouldn’t recommend it overall for a first time visitor to NYC. The shower got the whole bathroom wet and there was no shelf for toothbrushes. It was absolutely bare bones basic, which did not match the price.

The hotel was recently renovated and the spaces are modern and beautiful. Bed was comfortable and shower had hot water and good pressure. Location is awesome, close to a lot of transportation options, restaurants and stores.

The room is too small, with almost no space for circulation or to store luggage. For a person traveling alone, with just a small or medium bag, it's ok. But for a couple with one bag each person or more, it will be very difficult. Bathroom doesn't have a countertop to put cosmetics and there isn't a support in the shower to put soap, shampoo and conditioner. I had to put mine on the floor.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Location is excellent. 3 blocks from Bryant Park. Close to everything. I am a walker so walked everywhere from there. Hotel i s 2 yrs old and modern. They only charge you $1 to store your luggage upon checkout if you want to still walk around.

a bit of a funky smell in bathroom. Smelled like mold though I couldn't see any. Perhaps the mop or rag they used to clean? Anyway I told front desk and they assured me they would look into it for next guest. They could use another shelf in bathroom for stuff.

The hotel looks new and very stylish - a fresh, bright decor. The room was compact but well-appointed: the bed was incredibly comfortable (excellent mattress, pillows, and linens), the desk was plenty large to work at (with many power outlets and USB charging jacks; fast wifi), and there was a refrigerator and Nespresso machine. The bathroom was beautiful and very spacious, with a huge shower. Everything was very clean (and I like the hardwood floors in the bedroom, which I feel are more hygienic than carpet). Most notably, the city view was spectacular: the Empire State Building was directly in front of the window, and that entire wall of the room was glass. The staff were top-notch: the check-in clerk was friendly and efficient, and when I later texted to ask for a toothbrush, I was impressed that someone brought it to my room in under 5 minutes.

The room was definitely on the smaller side; it was fine for me, traveling with just a backpack, but it would be tight if someone had real luggage. (There is no closet; instead, there is a medium-sized drawer under the bed, and there is a clothing rack with hangers mounted to the wall over the refrigerator.)
