The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to the village but also get the beautiful peace and quite lake George has to offer. The room was great, everything was very clean and new which was really nice! We loved the breakfast, it was great to be able to grab a bite to eat before heading out into the town! Definitely will be back next year!

Wish we could have stayed longer!!!!

I made our booking on Booking.com who provided false information. They claimed that the hotel provides roll away beds. I sent 2 messages to the hotel through Booking.com requesting a roll away bed and never received a response. Got to the hotel to check in and found out they don't have roll away beds. My family consists of myself, my boyfriend, my 22 year old daughter and my 18 year old son. There was no way my daughter and son could share a bed. We went to our room to decide what we planned to do. The desk clerk came to our room to say that he had spoken to the manager about our situation and they offered us a 2nd room at a very good price. Excellent service.

The breakfast could use more fruit

Well we were in rm 104, our phone rang at 2 am 2 nights in a row, and the tv came on every night in the middle of the night! One time it was twice in one night! Next time im going to unplug everything !

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Wingate. It was very clean, comfortable, and the rooms were very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They recommended some great spots to check out in Lake George as well as restaurants which was so kind of them!

This was a great stay! The front desk staff was so kind and helpful. I stayed here several years ago and the place was unrecognizable from the last time. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! Seems like they went through a major renovation. Great outdoor space to relax in the evening and very nice pool!

The breakfast room is entirely too small for the number of people staying and things ran out fast. Front desk staff not very friendly. She wasn’t rude but she wasn’t friendly

Under new management this place has tremendously changed!!! Nice location! Close to the marina and beach. Clean large Pool!!! BBQ area. Super amazing staff. Million thanks to Sunny she was very attentive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Definitely will be come back!

My kids loved it here. They loved the pool and had a great time running around the lawn and playing basketball. This was a family vacation we really were looking forward to. We usually stay here and loved it even more this year. It was all updated and very neat and clean. Will be back!

The rooms were huge! They were nice and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also lovely. The beds were also very comfortable.

The staff were a little rude upon check-in. But throughout the stay they were a little more friendly and helpful and provided us extra towels etc.

I expected more from breakfast. Other places serving continental breakfast had scrambled eggs (albeit the powdered kind) as well as bacon and sausage- this hotel didn’t.

Nothing stands out.
