The rooms are a bit outdated, but the price-quality ratio is good; I would really change the shower head. Bed and pillows were comfy, although the double beds here are smaller that the european standard (I think 1.4m instead of 1.6m that we are used to). The size of the room is good, but you do not have a closet or dresser, we used the hangers for the coats and the nightstands for our clothes. Close to the metro, with a direct line to Manhattan center. We were lucky to have a really nice view from the 4th floor to Brooklyn and Manhattan, we saw the Empire State Building at night. I also liked that the cleaning services were only on request; we were here during the holidays and it was ok not to have somebody to do unnecessary cleaning daily, when we only used the room at night. The breakfast buffet is really limited. No protein, only bagels and cream cheese, very sugary muffins, toast, butter and jelly, cereal and milk, coffee, tea and juices. You can make yourself waffles, but the machine is a bit difficult to use. And that's about it. At least it was nice to have a bite to eat in the mornings.

The room and bathroom were clean. It was comfortable. The breakfast room person kindly assisted with a box to enable to easily take breakfast to my family.
I advised the front desk as we’re checking out that mom’s room was cold and unable to adjust thermostat . I felt there was unnecessary defensive / combativeness that took away the charm of the facility. A little more customer service training

The Hotel location in great, very near to the metro station, the room was clean with full facilities but no cleaning service throughout our stay The breakfast was decent but that was fine.

The bed is comfortable. The room is big enough. The views are great! Close to the subway. Nice restaurants around and also convenience stores!
Breakfast is pretty basic. Coffee is really bad, but at least there’s some. The hotel is a bit ‘old’, but okay. People are noisy and you can hear almost anything that’s happening in the corridor, so if you’re a light sleeper I would not recommend it.

The hotel room was small but had everything we needed, and the awesome view of Manhattan was a bonus. The bed was fairly comfortable; the shower was great! The location was also quite good - very walkable to Industry City and to some cute local spots, and also only an 8-10 minute walk to a subway station. Very convenient! Overall the hotel was basic but good.
The breakfast was basically all sugar, so we only enjoyed that on one of the mornings and then decided it wasn't worth it (why eat a store bought bagel when in NEW YORK?!). We actually preferred to go around the corner to Big John's which I highly recommend to anyone staying there!! Most things about the hotel felt basic and simple, almost like staying in a hostel, but quieter and more private. The staff were similarly basic - nice but not very friendly or welcoming, just doing their job politely.

The hotel in general is clean, and regularly kept clean. The breakfast included is well stocked with great options, the vending machines for outside breakfast hours are idea for snacks and stocking up on water for the day. The hotel was even more helpful with allowing a few deliveries to be delivered to the hotel for me.
The only major thing I didn't like were the doors to the hotel rooms. Doesn't feel like they were made for the doorway as you can hear everything outside as if the door wasn't there. This is for all rooms so if someone down the corridor is loud, everyone can hear it clearly. Fortunately every worker and guest in the hotel was decent so we didn't have too many disturbances.

Big bed 5 minutes walk to the subway and all 3 lines go to manhattan and Times Square Safe neighborhood
The breakfast, there was no variety, no eggs, cheese or any kind of protein also no vegetables , if you like bread with butter / waffle / cereal you’ll enjoy because thats the only things that were there. We couldn’t chose if we want to add breakfast or not because it already came with the price of the room and if i could remove the breakfast and get the room for cheaper price i would do it

king size bed and city view was great!
the front desk staff member took a very long time gathering information from both my husband AND my IDs while also holding our credit card upon check in. this was a little suspicious as no other hotel stay I’ve experienced such diligent information checks. when I asked what information he gathered from the cc and ID he replied with “just needed to verify the booking name on file”…. that shouldn’t have taken 10+ minutes of him possessing our bank card and licenses. I am definitely going to keep an eye on my bank and other channels for fraud over the next few weeks.

Close to subway stop; lots of small delis/restaurants/bodegas nearby. (One even had a bodega cat!) Walking distance to a very vibrant neighborhood on 5th Avenue near 40th Street.
To exit from the lobby, you need to go through two sets of doors. You push the first set to open them, but you have to *pull* the second set of doors to get out to the street. This is not only a bad idea; it is, in fact, a violation of building codes in some states (such as California).
