Location was great - perfect - central to so many places - easy parking - easy in and out of town - great for walking - many spots close by to eat - to see historical venues, etc Breakfast varied from excellent to decent. A bit of choice would have been nice. Less emphasis on bacon & sausage - more on fruits & vegetable. Wonderful staff on all fronts

The front stairs could use a railing for safety. We found ourselves using the back entry for ease of going up and down the stairs safely. while we are older, we do not have any general mobility issues. The front stairs are steep and not deep.

Delicious breakfasts every morning, beautifully maintained inn with stunning decor, great treats and drinks available in the afternoon and evening, newly refurbished room, good sized bathroom, very clean throughout, helpful and friendly staff, fantastic location, set on a quiet square.

We booked the Mary Telfair room and it had been recently refurbished. It was beautiful and very relaxing decor but it felt more like the decor for a beachy property than a historical inn. The photos on the website showed a four poster bed and a more 19th century style room which was more the time period we were looking forward to immersing ourselves in, but this is a really minor point and a matter of personal preference. The room itself was clean and beautiful with enough space for our 2 nights.

Staff was accommodating and very friendly. You could not find a prettier stay. Beds were very comfortable, and the shower and bathroom were very modern. The breakfast and service were delicious and enjoyable each morning. The only drawback - and it has nothing to do with the house, so I didn't knock it - were the stairs, e.g., no elevator. It took my 81-year-old mom effort, but exercise is good, right? Don't be scared of street parking. We found it easy to find a spot and the location is safe.

That was delicious!!!!!!!....our compliments to the chef!....and the staff!!!!

My husband , Bob who is a designer and I both agreed on one thing....the sliding barn door for the bathroom does not give a person privacy....great for a pantry but not a bathroom!....just a thought......otherwise we loved everything, especially the architecture and the hand painted walls in the Living room....We loved it and will be back!.....

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the location was easy for a trolley pickup, walking the squares or catching the DOT bus, which we took to the Riverfront area-a conbo walk & DOT trip, which helped in 90°+ weather. Great stay at the Hamilton-Turner Inn!

Concierge service wasn’t a true we will book for you service like we thought from advertising. Was good for ideas where to go/eat…

The Hamilton-Turner Inn is lovely inside and out. The directions for entry were exact; the initial greeting was warm and informative; the room was beautifully appointed; the afternoon and evening snacks were yummy; the breakfast was delicious! The staff was accomodating of our coming and going requests for luggage. We were able to walk to most points of interest. Hopefully we will get to stay there another time.

Convenient location, gorgeous building, warm service at breakfast

The reception staff was lukewarm; did not greet us when we checked in, did not ask us if we need help with luggage, and when we asked for suggestions on where to find free parking, we were not given any directions other than “there usually are parking spaces.” Upon check out the staff also didn’t ask about our stay

stayed with my wife for a weekend get away. Was a very cool experience staying at this historic B&B. Happy Hour was very good and the breakfast was awesome. Would stay here again.

We had a bottom floor room and it was noisy but other then that it was a great stay.

The Inn is beautiful and the staff is attentive, but not overbearing. And the breakfast? Yum! We loved our stay and reminded us of days gone by: a little slower paced and a gentility not often experienced in today’s world.

The location is quiet, safe and beautiful. Right across from a park/square and next to a gorgeous church. The inn itself is gorgeous, inside and out. The staff are helpful. Loved the “extras” like wine/appetizers and warm cookies.

It is an old home, so to be expected, but noise carries.
