Beautiful walk on the Mangrove boardwalk. Beautiful rooms at theCasitas. Nice dinner at the Oystercatcher, including a very nice breakfast. I tipped the waiters and room service’s heavily. I appreciate a fine and well run establishment and like to be sure they are appropriately rewarded.

The property is beautiful! I travelled solo for the first time to the Tampa area and I wanted a resort/beachy vibe & this 100% was it. I stayed in the casita and it was wonderful! I liked that there were 2 full body mirrors in the room as well as a walk-in glass shower. The room was spacious and comfortable except for the temperature sometimes which is just to be expected in florida. I really loved the patio (when the bugs weren’t attacking me)- mine was at the back & private. The pool near the casitas is so cute with hammocks, lounge chairs and bonfire areas, all in soft sand, right off the water. I REALLY liked that the casita parking is free. I would say that this is just a little overpriced and a tad outdated (my room had huge random screws sticking out of the wall like something was once hung there). I’ve never been to Tampa & I did have a rental car but the location seemed pretty nice to me considering all of the places I wanted to go were within 35 min (aside from the coastal beaches). I can only speak for the casitas as I didn’t stay in the actual hotel but the check-in was quick and easy, the staff were all so kind, and overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone, especially couples for the casitas.

The ONLY thing I didn’t necessarily like was wrestling with the AC to get the perfect room temperature but again, this is kinda to be expected in Florida.

I enjoyed the bar on site as well as the staff. They were very accommodating and nice. Even the manager of the hotel came up to speak to me while I was at the bar to ask me about my experience and to make sure everything was good. & he even recommended some nice areas to explore. There is a shuttle to and from the airport which is nice. & due to my flight being delayed they were able to give me the latest checkout and held my bags in a secure room so I could continue to explore Tampa until I needed to get to the airport. Parking onsite was easy and they have Tesla chargers. If you need a microwave you can call the front desk for request one and they’ll bring it to your room

I just feel like the hotel is on the older side so when you first arrive it looks very fancy and upscale but once you get on the elevators to the rooms the look changes. And the room is nice but could be bigger for the price, the towels and bath clothes, sheets and linen need to be thrown away and softer ones need to be ordered. There is a weird looking mat in the shower that’s discolored and looks gross.

Front desk checking in & out , very helpful professional Staff❣️ Breakfast was delicious, Excellent variety & quality food. Friendly , professional staff members all true out Hotel service. Including vale parking service, shuttle services. Love the atmosphere , secluded small Villa’s ,nicely decorated, clean , beautifully maintained landscapes around buildings & tennis court. Great location , view for restaurant.

I wish we could have the Pool open , & board walk open for strolls @ Villas closer to our unit but we understood resent hurricane damage takes time to repair the facility.

The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is a treat for the luxury lover! The Casita suites are perfect combination of privacy and luxury, complete with room service, bellman service, mood lighting, robes, slippers, and motion lights under the bed for the late night bathroom breaks! The valets are so kind and Sherrill at the front desk was so patient and helpful to me, providing champagne tokens and maps to guide me around the property. The Casita suites come with dinnerware and you can control the tv with your cell phone. There was a convenient 1/2 bath downstairs and a dining area separate from the living space. There's a spacious closet upstairs and downstairs with extra bedding for guests to use the sofa bed if needed. The barn door entrance to the master bathroom I loved, with huge LED mirror and walk in shower with body wash, shampoo and conditioner ready to use. There's toiletries ready, from mouthwash to shower caps to q tips and of course a hair dryer. Slippers accompany the robes and are available to buy if you like. There's even an automatic ice maker just add water! With 2 pools, restaurants, tennis and basketball courts all on the property There's no reason to leave, and lots of gorgeous photo ops for influencers alike!

Wifi was a bit tricky we had to call engineering a couple times. There were also gnats but I expect bugs in Florida near water

Staff was very friendly and helped us out with my many questions. The room was nice and clean with a runway view. My boyfriend and I love watching airplanes at SRQ take off, so figured it’d be nice to see at TPA as well. Beautiful sunset view.

Unfortunately the boardwalk wasn’t open due to the recent hurricane. I was really excited to walk through and see the view of the Tampa bay. Pools were closed as well.

This is something I saw when booking and the hotel didn’t have) other than that the lobby, then is courts, restaurants were beautiful. Room was ok, comfortable, clean but the bathroom is old and the shower was not working properly, either too cold or too hot and handle was loose

We checked in for the last night of our stay in Florida. We were leaving the following morning so booked the Hyatt as an easy jump to the airport. We unfortunately had rainy weather most of our trip, when we arrived at the Grand Hyatt the whole trip and bad weather just went away. The grounds, hotel- everything was perfect. I ended up changing my flight just so we could stay an extra day and enjoy the weather and beauty and “vacation” that we missed out on. We had a Casita, the pool was perfect, the staff was amazing- I can’t say enough. They literally turned a horrible trip into a great one- even if for only two days!

The location to the airport was great. 8 dollar Uber to the airport was amazing.

There was a convention for a work group there that took over the whole pool area, which was blocked off during our stay, and even the bar restaurant was packed. It felt like we were intruding on a work convention, not on vacation at all.

The room had ample space and was very clean! The bay view from our room on the 8th floor was great! We had breakfast once during our stay and it was delicious. And the location near the airport was ideal! Free bike rental was top notch!!

In my opinion, for the price of the room, I think complimentary breakfast buffet should have been included. Also, I mentioned by email that I was celebrating my 60th Birthday but no acknowledgement of it happened during our stay.
