I really enjoyed my stay, the staff were kind and direct. i like the layout of the building as i actually found it kind of fun to navigate to my room. The room itself was clean and well situated, its an old building with a lot of charm and it really has everything you need, especially as a solo traveler only staying 1 night. I canceled my reservation at Yotel SF to book with Edwardian for a much MUCH better price, no crazy deposit, and it was actually closer to where i needed to be. It was the best decision i ever could have made for my trip as it ended up saving me well over $150. It really was an important part of my first time in SF and i wouldnt mind staying here again sometime, i may even book it again just to recapture some of the time i spent here, it was special and an important step for me as a beginner traveler.
The only negative thing i will say isnt even the hotels fault, there are a lot of sketchy people that come out in that area at night time, Market street as a whole is a completely different scene after the sun goes down so if you're going to be out late at night, you may want to take an uber back depending on who you are. But the hotel itself is a beacon of light if you do happen to be walking back on a late night, once you enter the doors, you know you have reached a safe place where you can relax

It is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location. The room/bathroom exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. I have stayed before, usually in the Queen room with street view but the one I stayed this time was smaller and also with a street view, which was also a nice room.
wardrobe/clothes storage space very poor. I have often stayed for a week or more and would not be happy with that room for that duration of a stay. Fine for one night but I would not stay for longer in that room. A small point, my TV was not working, I could not change channels and there is no way to contact staff for help other than leave the room which was not an option as I was already ready for bed.

Great location with easy access to different parts of the city. Our room was sufficiently spacious with plenty of storage spaces for clothing etc. They even had books to read in different languages. Nice bathroom with shower. Lots of light through the windows. Comfortable queen sized bed. Lots of power outlets for charging electronic devices like phone, tablet, computer etc. Friendly staff.
Nothing to criticize about the hotel itself — however, it should be noted that you might encounter San Francisco’s escalating homelessness crisis right around the hotel’s immediate neighborhood. We would still stay there again, though.

1st night the room was very nice, but it seems that the cars and the tram are running directly through the room. I asked for another room and I've got one. It was much quieter than the one to the street. The room was a bit damp for this and not as comfortable than the one before, but with ventilation through the window it went quite well (no air conditioning). So I felt very good and was satisfied.
The windows could be renovated, because when you have a room to the street ... you should close your ears ;)

I went for 1 night by myself to go to a rave nextdoor at SVN west warehouse. It’s literally next door. This place is in a prime location and it’s right next to a bus stop so it’s easy to get anywhere. I managed to find free street parking super close but it was a challenge. The front desk people were nice and there’s drinking water and I believe coffee and tea at the entrance.
The room isn’t huge and doesn’t really have any extra amenities or frills. A microwave and fridge would’ve been nice. But that’s what I was expecting.

The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere from there. There are coffee shops, bookstores and great restaurants just blocks from it, I liked the shower and bedding a lot. Maria was super friendly and helpful.
The doors are not soundproof and people on the corridor were loud. It has an old elevator, so if someone forgets to close it properly you have to take the stairs.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, complimentary coffee, clean/bright room, easy access to transit.
Odd smell in room couldn’t tell if it was smoke from cigarette or from next door restaurant. I kept window open to ventilate which I then had to deal with outside noise. No a/c but my fault for not reading. It was ok at night with windows open. Area was a little sketchy at night and not many good food options nearby. Low water pressure.

Very affordable for San Francisco. My room and bathroom were clean. I traveled by myself (female) and felt safe here. Front desk workers were friendly and professional. Rocky is very friendly and customer oriented! I will definitely return to this hotel if I go back to SF

Great location for the price. Really nice bathroom, very clean and spacious. The hotel itself is very quaint and charming. From the hotel we could easily walk to nice restaurants and our concert venue. Very cozy hotel, I would stay here again.
The room is a little small but you can already see that based on the photos provided. The bathroom was almost as big as the room so the size ratio was a little strange. Overall it was a great experience, though.

I really enjoy staying at Edwardian hotel, best location is perfect for shopping, just on Market street, just few blocks or take any transportation for few minutes you are at city mall. Staffs are incredibly helpful and professional. I will highly recommend once you decide to visit San Francisco... Edwardian hotel will Bea good choice.
House keeping issue...My bed sheets were not changed the time i have stayed at the hotel...they only change towels...i had to ask soap to receptionist.
