The location and view

It was pretty old. The bathroom was pretty outdated bad water pressure. The lamp by the bed was the outlets to charge phones. Super old and broken. Overall it was not a bad experience laced and I would go again. But for the amount of money , I expected more.

Anything and everything extra cost more. parking, flexible hours, nothing extra included for free the shower head was kind of a bummer it's when they use in Pilot Flying J Truck Stop shower in America LOL banged my knee on the bed frame about four times lol a food voucher would have been nice from the cafe since they don't provide breakfast

The view of the ocean from the premium rooms with king beds is exceptional! The pool area is clean, comfortable and gives you direct access to Pacific Beach across the boardwalk. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Premium rooms should offer free high speed wifi instead of slow wifi.

Nasty jacuzzi had a hair ball in water and other stuff floating around . Jumped in then jumped out fast !

Honestly the pictures didn't do it the room or the location justice online. Once we arrived we were very please with our room and its location on the first floor, facing the pool/beach. And for the price with the view it was definitely worth it! The room was a decent size not too big not too small. It's right off the board walk and near so many cute restaurants and bars. I def would stay here again and even recommend it to friends/family.

I wish the pool could be open/used later. Also it's unfortunate the wifi was terrible. And if you wanted better wifi you would've had to pay $15 per day. Although the price for the room was okay(the location made up for that) if feel like for what people pay wifi should just be complimentary.

The location is perfect, the proximity to everything you could possibly need is so nice. Pay more if you want a beach view; we stayed in a room facing the parking lot because we were so close to the beach it didn’t matter. We would absolutely stay here again. The beds were soft and comfortable, rooms were great size and clean.

Water pressure for the shower was not very good but it was not the worst either. Also, the shower temp in the morning is all over the place from luke warm to scalding hot, I figured it was probably because of the time of day. Neither of these “issues” would prevent me from staying here again.

It’s got a bit of Don Draper on his west coast vacation feel: I thought from the outside maybe it would be tired or a bit rundown but not at all. Felt fresh, it was immaculately clean and the location is fantastic. Most comfortable bed (firm, not sagging) of my whole trip. I had a room with no view which suited me fine, it was private. The upstairs rooms overlooking the beach must have amazing views, the ground floor rooms round the pool look like they might feel a bit exposed to other patrons passing by.

My safe worked once but didn’t work after that first time: I reported it and was told it would be looked at but that never happened. I had one half of what was obviously an adjoining room (door locked and very secure) but could hear normal volume conversation clearly through from next door.

Amazing location right on the beach, easy access to beach, heated pool / hot tub with beach view, very nice, very clean room, housekeeping staff did a great job, friendly helpful staff, cafe / coffee shop on site, gated parking garage, wonderful place to stay, would definitely recommend

had a little difficulty with the charges, even though I prepaid through booking.com my credit card was charged for the full amount again the night i arrived, it took a day or two to get it sorted out but finally resolved, I also dont think the daily charge for i"incidentals" is clear on booking.com (this money is returned to you at check out if you dont use it, and it may have been written somewhere that I missed, it just felt like a surprise charge, I was traveling on a tight budget)

Location is walking distance to restaurants and shops. The pool view is amazing. They have board games and books to enjoy while enjoying drinks from their cafe. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

We had the partial ocean view room. Your view is a parking lot right below but you still get a good view of the beach. It gets busy and loud in the late afternoon and it’s like that every where in the area. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us but it might be for others.

Property is beautifully upgraded!! The location is right on Pacific/Mission beach. They have a nicely designed pool, spa and fire pit with glass blocking the wind. You can park your car in an underground key access garage or out in the newly paved parking lot. The staff were very helpful and kind. Housekeeping did an exceptional job and always greeted you! The newly remodeled lobby and cafe felt inviting. Monica and Natalia did a wonderful job answering all our questions at the front desk! Maybe we will try one of their suites on our next visit. We will definitely come again!!!

We loved it all. In the past, we have stayed at various other places on this beach for a kitchen or kitchenette. This property has a mini fridge and microwave which is all you need when the BEST restaurants are within walking distance!!
