The property is gorgeous, the staff was exceptional, and the location and cost are great!

The room and the grounds could have been cleaner. The carpet was very dirty and had a faint mildew smell, the AC had a faint mildew smell, the chair and tables around the pool had cobwebs all over them, and there were often small pieces of trash, hoses, brooms, and trash bags left out on the grounds and outside hallways of the property.

The location is fabulous. It is right across from the Hotel Del. You can enjoy that beach and the lovely downtown without paying the exhorbitant rates of other nearby hotels. They had a nice (full/hot) breakfast buffet. The staff reached out to accommodate.

The rooms were very basic and dark. Lighting needs to be improved and they are a bit dated. We had a double bed room on the first floor. There was also a lot of construction going on, but it didn't seem noisy while we were there (Thurs/Fri). The construction did block the sidewalk so you had to walk on the other side of the street to get around.

The breakfast was good, there was something for everyone. I loved the cucumber-lemon-lime infused ice water! The location was close (within walking distance for us) to almost all of the eateries on the island. We enjoyed the historical aspect of the inn, and appreciated the way the main original building was preserved. We also liked the proximity to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cable tv company had plenty of channels to watch. Our balcony provided very scenic views of Glorietta Bay harbor.

The only thing that I didn't care for was the a/c unit blowing on me all night. I like circulation, but can't sleep with the fan directly on me. A redirection of the air to either the left or right of the bed would have been great.

The breakfast was great with several hot and cold options, the staff kept everything full and it was lovely to eat on the terrace facing the bay. The staff was always friendly and the location is perfect, it’s a quick walk to the beach or into town. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The soap and shampoo is in little paper packets, that seems good for the environment, but once wet, the paper starts to flake apart quickly, so after a couple of showers it creates a black gooey mess in the shower.

The hotel accommodations were comfortable, the room was super cute and functional. I had not looked at the pictures of the rooms on the site and was pleasantly surprised. This would be a good option for a longer stay with the kitchen and private patio with table and chairs. We enjoyed the view of the Bay while eating the hot breakfast included with our stay. I loved the historic feel and story behind the hotel.

Breakfast had a great variety and something different each day. Quiet - no problem sleeping at all. Comfortable - love the coffee maker in the room as well as coffee in the lobby area. Staff was very accomodating.

Pool is very small for amount of people using it. Spa also small. Lounge chairs are broken -sinking in - very uncomfortable. Room is small for price.

right across the street from the Hotel Del! breakfast was a very nice addition and plenty of fresh options. main part of building is actually historical in itself as Mr. Speckles who was a part of the team who designed and built the Del built this home for his family. our room was newer and close to orange street and that had a bit of road noise/traffic - but as we were not in the busiest of times it was not a huge issue. room was very nice.

traffic noise. could not figure out how to adjust thermostat so felt a bit warm in our room. we could have asked!!😊. $30 / day for parking seemed much.

Great hotel for a couples get away! One of the best things about this hotel is that everything is within walking distance. In addition, breakfast options were good, staff was really friendly, and everything was very clean. I highly recommend this hotel in the Coronado Area.

The place is really neat, historical and old architecture. The pool area is really nice and the breakfast was excellent (as was the coffee machine open all day). They gave us beach chairs (may be time to invest in newer larger chairs) and umbrellas for our use.

The room we got looked absolutely nothing like the picture. I understand, always put your best foot foward but the pictures they advertise with are only about 10 of the rooms, the rest are rooms from the 90's that could use a coat of paint and some updating.

Breakfasts were phenomenal consisting of 3 + prepared hot offerings, freshly cut fruit, cereals, granola, toasters to make your own toast to order, and full on coffee / espresso / latte machine dispensers… plus more. The indoor lounge for eating and the outdoor patios provided beautiful spaces for pausing to begin each day. Loved that beach chairs and umbrellas were available for taking to beach.
