Great location for people who like to be near to airport and join the concert or matches. The place is modern, lots of customer services, security all around, modern and comfortable room and bath. I didn’t try the swimming pool but I saw lots guests were using it.

The pool is incredible, public transportation is fairly accessible, room design is nice!

No baggage storage was a letdown close to the airport, only noticeable thing!

Shower is transparent, the blind is not too blind, you need to take shower in the dark to avoid the other people in your room see you

I liked the modern feel in the rooms and app use.

Parking was a hassle as it was only valet and the set up of the street caused a lot of traffic. We did not have our Tesla extra key so the key was my phone and I couldn’t valet and had to go in and out of parking gate myself. So basically paid for “mandatory” valet for nothing. Should be worded as “mandatory parking fee” not valet. Also the pool music was on late and the was on before 7am… not sure if it was staff or other hotel guests that start playing music by the pool. Had hard time falling and staying asleep as my room was by pool.

A+.As soon as you hit Sonder Lum block, you are greeted by the boys at the front with Valet parking, they were very friendly $35 a night is reasonable considering your car is secured and locked away, and parking prices elsewhere were pretty expensive. Acknowledgement by the staff each time entering and exiting the premises with a smile starts your day on a positive. The room was a little damp, we left the door open most of the time which resolved this issue. Our room was nice and tidy, the photos are as is. If you want your room serviced there is usually a $40 fee however the staff gave us one service free, and clean towels on a daily, just pick up from reception. Coffee lovers, Starbucks is a 5 minute walk away. Fast food, Target and Ralphs grocery store is 2 minute drive. All in all, we would stay here again. We found this area was the centre for most of the attractions we wanted to see. Like the Santa Monica Pier, The Observatory, Universal Studios etc. Thank you to the staff and the night time security officer for giving us a laugh.

We had a 28-hr layover and needed accommodation close to the airport. The location was perfect! It was about a 7-minute Uber drive in good traffic. The decor was modern and stylish. They offered tea, coffee and filtered water, which was such a nice touch. They were great communicators and responded constantly via email and messenger in Booking.com. Their app was also very high-tech and convenient. Shout out to Breanna, one of the receptionists, who was incredibly attentive, always available, and caring.

We stayed on the ground floor, which was very noisy from the outdoor activity at the Cork and Batter restaurant and valet. Our room faced the freeway so it vibrated a lot from the motor vehicles passing by. If you’re a light sleeper, I don’t recommend these rooms. The noise from the restaurant was also hard to ignore.

No Breakfast

Check in process was unnecessarily complicated. Language Barrier to getting my reservation information. I ordered drinks from restaurant Orange juice was hot by the time I received it and my tea was cold. coffee maker in the room didn't work properly (water didn't get hot). Jacuzzi had too much chemicals, irritated my skin. I requested a early check in but by the time my registration was straightened out, regular check in time was already past. Pool, shower and bed were heavenly. Jackie who was working the front desk saved my stay. She was an excellent Customer Service Professional

Absolutely loved it at Sonder Lum, Inglewood! The Lum’s a boutique hotel of upscale quality with a low budget price tag. I booked a room for my husband’s 50th birthday celebration and stayed there for 5 days while we enjoyed the events and going ons in LA. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The original room was located right next to the elevator and after requesting a separate room the girls at the front went out of their way to make it a comfortable stay, and getting us settled in a new room. Wendy and Rolanda (?- young tall lady with glasses) were always there to make sure our needs were met. My husband left his laptop in the 1st room, and it was still there when he went back for it. On his actual birthday a small package with a card was left in the room to surprise him. It wasn’t much but the thought and gesture was priceless. Now, I did get charged more for the relocation BUT, upon questioning it and letting them know I wasn’t made aware of extra charges, they informed me that it was a mistake and they would be reimbursing my $. UPDATE:::: EVERY SINGLE PENNY THAT WAS MISTAKENLY CHARGED, WAS REIMBURSED. THANK YOU!! We also had some issues with the generated code for entry to our room, but again, the staff made up for it. At night the security guard, Ken was full of joy and it was just a pleasure coming back to the hotel. Your staff is your image, and in your case, Lum, they are the reason I’ll book a stay there again in the future. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!
