The room was very comfortable with quality coffee and teas available (and both types of milk). Nice to see the milk decantered into a glass bottle to save waste too (use by date written on it). Great bedding. Iron and board a real bonus. Shower was easy to use. Nightlight useful in bathroom. Has aircon if needed. Superb breakfast (eggs benedict) and best coffee ever.
Faint smell coming from drains but not a bother (one to look into). No need to leave the aicon on before arrival in my opinion. Veggie breakfast was not as good a standard but reasonable.

The Foley is lovely, well kept, a comfortable place to stay as well as a great place to hang out. I was only staying for two nights, but would have loved the opportunity to stay longer. HUGE shoutout to Savannah, Nicholas, and Richard! They all went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The room had great amenities with lots of local snacks and beverages. I had a lovely breakfast and a tasty dinner during the stay. I’m not a beer drinker, so I cannot attest to their offerings, but the wine list was very nice. The patio area was very inviting, but unfortunately I did not use, as the weather was not the best. Water pressure was spot-on (which is usually a complaint from me.), HVAC worked well.
Honestly, I cannot think of anything that I did not like. Kudos to the owners and management team!

The room was bright and clean. Beautifully decorated too with comfortable bed and crisp bedding. The coffee machine and fresh milk were very welcome. It was nice to have plenty of surfaces to put various bits and pieces in the bathroom. The shower and bath were clean and there were plenty of good sized towels. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty (especially the sausages!) We ate there every night. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice on the menu. The staff were very polite and friendly and nothing was too much bother. Would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely nothing.

We arrived at 4pm and the place was pretty full with it being Valentines Day. A member of staff was wearing a white jumper with black hearts on and was really friendly. I later wore a white cardigan with red hearts on so it was lovely that staff had made an effort for Valentines day as well. The Foley was nicely decorated for the occasion and the whole decor of the pub with the roaring fire was a beautiful setting for our drinks. The food looked amazing but we were already booked in elsewhere. The room was a decent size and the shower was great! We decided to join our friends for breakfast before check out and it was delicious. I had avacado on sourdough toast with poached eggs and my husband had a full english. We were joined by our friends who commented how nice their breakfasts were. The young waiter was very attentive and the young waitress was very welcoming. We have stayed before and will definitely stay again. Check in was very quick at the bar. Thank you to all the staff at The Foley for a lovely stay.
The room was £99 pn last time but was £248 for 2 nights this time - without breakfast included. I'm not sure if this is due to the refurb or because it was Valentines weekend.

I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was amazing! I also didn't feel uncomfortable eating on my own as traveling for business. The environment and ambiance was very welcoming and the staff made me feel at home. food - amazing comfort great - I even overslept so, it was a rush to get breakfast but the staff were really accommodating and helped me get ready in a rush! They even helped me put my coffee (which was amazing) in my travel mug so I could drink it on the go!
It is hard to find fault with the room but, to be picky - the lighting in the room was a bit dull, especially when trying to apply makeup? The bathroom sink light was fab but, I am short so, I couldn't lean over the sink to do this. Perhaps a lighted retractable mirror in the bathroom would be better?

Breakfast they have small buffet table but they also prepare you one of dishes from menu, I took English breakfast and it was really nice compared to Ibis or Travel Lodge, as it is fresh prepared for you. Only thing is that on weekend breakfast starts from 8am and I had to be elsewhere working early but they were great about it as they allowed me to have same value spent on dinner. I had Sunday roast for the first time it was so tasty I ordered twice. Room excided my expectations and I felt really comfortable, there is also big bath after the long day.
Minor things really, I wish I could open the window all the way as it was looking at big trees full of birds and quite part. Second is deposit for the mini bar as when you check in you have to reserve 50 pounds in case you use mini bar in your room, they give it back once you check out if you didn't used it.

Our request for an early check-in was satisfied without fuss. The breakfast (while we waited for the room) was amazing - fresh and delicious. Eggs on smashed avo with slices of bacon were first class! Rooms are tastefully decorated and feel luxurious. We struggled at first to connect to wifi in restaurant but front of house staff doubled up as IT desk support, sorted out the firewalls and got us connected! Feeling lazy, we later called down for some lunch. Menu on website was a little outdated but reception patiently guided us to some alternatives and then delivered them to the room. Felt quite spoilt! We love this place which is why we keep returning!

There was plenty of space to park. We received a friendly welcome and we were impressed by the pub on entrance. The room was spacious, quiet and had everything we needed, and a few things we didn't expect, we were delighted. Lovely bathroom, really nice shower,, lit wardrobe, comfortable furnishings. Fully stocked mini bar, snacks, fridge tea, coffee and coffee machine! We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. Breakfast was perfect.
Nothing, I loved everything. The bed/matress was soft. I personally prefer a firm bed and a fibre duvet (not rustley feather duvet) but this didn't detract from the fact that it was a really nice room and we were really happy with it.

The staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful, especially the lovely Shane. We were staying for the Sandown Races with an evening with Madness and decided to stay for lunch at the Hotel before going on our jaunt, so pleased we did. We had pre-lunch drinkies in the garden and then lunch inside which was lovely and cool! The food was exquisite, I opted for the homemade chicken, leek and ham pie with little roasties and veg, others went for the haddock and chips which looked so nice, a sharing ploughman's which was beautifully presented and juicy Dairy burgers, they catered for all tastes. The rooms were stunning, attention to detail with the soft furnishings, bathroom toiletries, mini bar selection and the biggest and comfiest super King size bed to die for! Can't wait to find an excuse to come back.
I couldn't fault a thing!

Room was excellent, very Comfortable, good size bed and bath. Quiet situation. Clean, everything was laid out nicely. Plenty of options in the Mini Bar and nice Free Cookies as the Biscuits with Tea. Fresh Milk in the Mini Fridge.
Bizarre online check in requirements which meant I went from 3 rooms to 6 rooms on arrival. Took time to sort out on arrival. Had to reinput data that had been added when booking through Booking.com. Minimal Menu available in the restaurant but looks like there was a bar menu we were not offered, a little expensive considering it was a Pub Menu. Mini bar not clearly marked unless you checked the Menu rather than the fridge and expensive.
