We had a fantastic stay with Mike and Maura, who were very welcoming and attentive and had great local knowledge. Our room had a sea view, was comfortable, very clean and had all the facilities you'd expect for a traditional B&B. The breakfast was delicious and a good size, with nice toast, homemade jam and a continental selection including cereals if you didn't fancy a fry up. The fresh fruit was a nice extra touch too. Location is ideal, close to Sandy Bay and near a bus stop into Weston-Super-Mare - much easier than finding somewhere to park (cheers for the tip Mike!) Bathroom was well equipped and the shower is so good - amazing pressure and good temperature control.

We'd definitely stay again if we're in the area, breakfast between 8:15-9am meant an earlier start than we might have planned however it wasn't a major issue and didn't impact the enjoyment of our stay.

There is nothing to not like! Anyone wanting to stay in Weston I would recommend this property and hosts. If you wanted something nearer the pier you might go somewhere else but when the bus stops outside and only costs £5 for an all day pass plus you have the beautiful Sand Bay a short walk down the road, why would you go anywhere else!

We loved staying at Mike and Maura's B&B. We stayed for 2 nights in the double deluxe room. This is a lovely traditional B&B so was right up our street. There was a little pub behind the B&B. A 10 minutes down the road is a very quiet beach and South Sands hotel that has a lovely restaurant with brilliant sea food dishes. We used the B&B as a base visiting Weston Super Mare, Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury. We loved breakfast and both Mike and Maura made sure we were well catered for. Overall we would visit again!

Only the shower as the water pressure was good.

Michael and Maura were excellent hosts. Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Maura cooked an excellent breakfast and was very attentive, ensuring that everything was in order. My room had a sea view and was exceptionally clean. The shower was powerful and easy to operate. The house is situated a few minutes walk from the long, sandy beach. Weston-super-mare is a few minutes drive. Overall a lovely house with wonderful hosts who care for their guests.

It was a lovely B&B lovely area lovely owners called Maura and Micheal very interested where we had come from and what we had been up to in the day gave us great information to where to go lovely cooked breakfast every morning. Great pub over the road and great location

Our stay here was great. Mike an Maura were very welcoming, made a wonderful breakfast and were helpful. The room was clean and tidy as was the rest of the accommodation. the bed was firm and perfect for us. Shower was grea and there was hot water. If you are looking for a modern hotel without friendly touches then this is not the place for you. this is a older styled Bed and Breakfast and we loved it.

Mike and Maureen where exceptional host, and the whole building reflects their personalities. We stayed as a one night stay to break up the journey home but after the excellent breakfast the following morning we were discussing when we will be going back and they will become our end destination

Unfortunately the hotel is slightly off the beaten track. That said we still think it was well worth the visit.

Mike and Maura were very welcoming hosts having owned the property 19 years with a wealth of local knowledge. The room was of good size with high ceiling and had a nice view towards Sand Bay. An excellent cooked breakfast was served, also cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juice and toast as required. Parking was freely available in private car park. I used the guest house as a base to tour Weston super Mare, Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury.

Maybe a bigger tv screen ?

The hosts are convivial and helped make this short stay pleasant. Breakfasts are of a good standard. A short walk (1 mile) takes you to sand bay. Room sizes were good. Double bed was minimum size.Older property furnishings.

There is only one safe route by car that reduces the number of pull in and squeeze and that avoids the krewkerne road. Head for sand bay drive to fish n chip cafe and turn left up to owl cottage

We were greeted on arrival by Mike who was very friendly and welcoming. He showed us to our room which was perfect and left us to get settled in. We met Maura in the afternoon who was also very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and kept us going through to mid afternoon.

The only complaint we have was the traffic noise during the evening but it was all quiet during the night so we were able to sleep well.
