Lovely ensuite bedroom above workshop, so quiet and peaceful for evening work prep. Reserved car parking space for accommodation right outside was fabulous - especially when it was raining!
Breakfast box in room was convenient and fine for a short stay, but for longer variety would be good. It would have been better if there had been an adjustable office chair to do with great workspace. Several cushions were needed to get me to the correct height for typing comfortably.

Separate accommodation from the the pub proper. Room was very nice. No cooked breakfast available - but there was good choice of cereal, instant porridge, yogurt, fruit and juice provided in the room. The fridge with fresh milk available was a great plus. Nice en-suite. Very clean. Bed super comfortable. Staff very friendly. Reserved parking for the rooms another great plus.
Check-out was 10am, and no cooked breakfast option available.

This was a really good value stay! We enjoyed a fabulously cosy, clean and quiet room, complete with a huge tv (I’m so used to hotels having ridiculously tiny ones, it made such a nice change!). It actually looks better in real life than it does in the photos on here. A full continental breakfast (including apples, yoghurts, cereals, milk, orange juice, nutrigrain bars, porridge pots etc…) was left in the fridge in our room for the morning. The pub is pleasant too, with some well kept Guinness!

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed, the staff were so friendly. Since it was Valentine’s Day they left cupcakes on our bed and a rose, it was such a thoughtful gesture. The room was stocked with goodies. The room and bathroom were clean. Checking out the next day we spoke to a lovely lady who was so friendly, she assisted us with our keys and we had a lovely chat with her. 100% recommend. We will definitely be going back.

The Landlady Kim and her team were friendly, engaging and very helpful. The pub has a great country pub feel, with fresh ales and solid wholesome food. All the staff were friendly whilst providing good service and had a real 'can do' attitude, which was all very refreshing in these times of general sliding standards! The rooms are clean, well presented and comfortable. Thank you for a pleasent stay.

Great location handy for National Trust places we had planned to visit. Very quiet except early on the second morning when the bins were being emptied. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean and the en suite shower room was very good. Breakfast was left in the room for us and was exactly as expected. It was nice to have fresh milk and yogurts in the fridge.
We found the bed a bit too soft as we prefer a firm mattress.

The web photos do not do it justice: Lovely quiet location in a pretty village, easy parking, dedicated apartment block with secure room access, modern spacious and spotless, roomy bathroom with fabulous shower and plenty of hot water, and the best bed I've slept in for a while. Nice extras like a full size fridge with fresh milk and yoghurt, and continental breakfast tray replenished every day. The food in the main pub was very good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Nothing bad to say!
The hanging and storage spaces were small if you wanted to stay for several days.

The room was exceptional and I loved the little breakfast choices ready to go in the room. Very clean, very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a burger in the bar and it was cooked to perfection, a proper burger at least an inch thick. Definitely recommend trying the food. If you have the luck of some sunny weather then the walled beer garden is a perfect place to chill out with that ice cold drink.
Only one minor issue was the pillows on the bed, they were polyester stuffed and I would’ve liked the option for a feather one. As I said this is a very minor issue of an otherwise perfect stay

So clean, free parking, lovely pub separate from the accommodation serves lovely beers and wines, delicious food. The railway station is 5 minute walk away, handy for getting into London. I don't know the name of the lady who cleans the rooms but we remember her from last year, she's so bright and bubbly, lovely to chat to and she brings whatever you need for breakfast in your room, lovely choice of cereals, juice, fresh milk for the fridge in your room, fruit, biscuits, tea/coffee. Perfect stay, we'll be back.
Nothing.

A simple room that was spotless! Good size TV , comfy bed with the added extra of a fridge. nothing so far to make this special but the staff were excellent! I would like to mention the manager Wayne as I checked in when the pub was very busy but he still took the time to show me my room and was very nice. The chef Mark and Jack were really nice and helpful. A special mention however must go to Claire and Jackie the housekeepers who were nothing but wonderful.so nice, so friendly! Made my stay special. Thank you ladies.
The wet room floor needs a little tweaking. Tends to pool under the loo. Not enough of a problem to put you off though.
