Excellent hotel. The staff were polite, smiley and extremely helpful. We stayed here because we attended a wedding at the venue. The room was large, clean, had a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Large clean bathroom. Throughout the venue it was clean and tidy. The bar was reasonably priced. I did expect higher prices for it being a hotel but a pint was the same price as our local pub. Quick and efficient check in and out. Breakfast was a good buffet style, Plenty to choose from.
Dirty cups at coffee machine in the morning. I pulled 5 out before I found a clean one or one that wasn't chipped. I understand this hotel is at a theme park so evidently there will be kids in the hotel, but there was a lot a screaming children. Also, I'm a light sleeper even after consuming drinks at the wedding, I was awoken to staff putting an invoice under our hotel door dueing the early hours. Which I found particularly strange, when I had prepaid and already has an email receipt.

EVERYTHING. Excellent reception booked in by Millie a most lovely young lady very warm & welcoming. Gave us all information necessary extremely helpful. The dining room staff equally lovely young ladies could not be more accommodating both were just very warm and I would say very happy in their work all three staff were a real credit to themselves AND the company.
Just could NOT find anything to quibble over. The hotel was excellently well maintained spotless clean food was superb. Plenty of hot Water lovely comfy bed& room. A delightful stay would definitely recommend and stay here again. Breakfast was a feast again with a truly lovely young lady who looked after us. Sincere THANKS TO ALL.

The location was fantastic, perfect for staying for our evening in one of the Function Rooms (Hamilton Suite). The room was comfortable and had all the items you would need (eg. iron, hairdryer, tv, kettle, safe, extra pillows). The bathroom was nice, and it was great to have 2 chairs instead of the usual 1! The staff were friendly and helpful and they were much more efficient than when we stayed there last year. Breakfast was nice and there was a wide choice of items.
It would be much better if checkout time could be 11am! The hotel was very pricey for its facilities and room. The mattress was a bit on the hard side.

Amazing hotel. Close to theme park entrance, literally 2min walk. Thomas theme runs throughout the hotel. Rooms were spacious and immaculate. Staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Adam. Everyone so good with the kids. Sir Topham Hatt was in the restaurant Saturday morning and did a meet and greet with every table and took photos with the kids. Good food and drink choices in restaurant. Evening entertainment on the Friday night for the kids - musical games, magic show and balloon modelling.
Onsite shop was literally only open once in the 3 days, on the morning we were leaving. Would have been good to be able to book hotel and park tickets together at cheaper rates.

Well thought out facility. Bathroom was very clean. Working air conditioning that was easy to turn off or adjust. Quiet background ambience - no noisy hotel wide fans or extraction units.
Was told that because we used booking.com that we had to pay £7 for parking as we had a cheaper rate room. This suggests that others did not have to pay. I do not consider £189 a cheap rate for a couple. City centre top ranking hotels are cheaper than this and just as well appointed. I am also aware of packages where family’s can stay and have park passes for less than our room only cost. We were there for a charitable event in the Tower suite. No decent IPA type of drink served in Tower suite. Main hotel sold Atlantic IPA but this did not extend to the Tower suite for domestic reason causing some disappointment.

A lovely hotel, large rooms with good quality furnishings, good shower (over bath), friendly staff, nice restaurant serving good food.
This is by no means a complaint - the quality of the fixed furniture in the bedrooms is really good, but they are starting to look a little dated. We arrived almost at the end of service for dinner, as did a few other guests - Our fault completely, but the restaurant was already busy and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed, or possibly a little understaffed.

The service from every member of the team I interacted with was excellent, each person clearly well briefed on ensuring guest satisfaction, a credit to the brand and not often seen at this price point. Location was great for a meeting in Tamworth, and the price paid was competitive. The room was all I needed, yes, a bit dated, but clean and with a very comfy bed
Nothing to fault, if you understand it is child themed and has Thomas the tank engine everywhere 😉

We live in Cornwall and travel back to Birmingham several times a year. Having stayed previously at budget and premium hotels we came across Drayton Manor and this was our third stay there. The hotel is reasonably priced, the staff are always exceptional and most importantly for me it is always spotlessly clean. This visit was even more special because for some reason we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite which was just WOW, thank you so much. The room made our stay very special and after a six hour car journey it was a surprise that was very much appreciated.
My only criticism would be the over enthusiastic waiting staff at breakfast. We collected our coffee and juice on entering the dining room, then went to get our hot breakfast and on returning to our table found that our full coffee and full apple juice had been cleared. I suspect that this was just a training issue. This was the only problem we encountered during an excellent stay.

Staff were lovely and welcoming and the hotel is immaculate. The Story time with the elf was a lovely addition and made our son's evening. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.
The bed - I woke in the night in so much pain. I had to get up and out of bed, I had the worst night's sleep I have had in a very long time. I don't suffer with a bad back or anything so was really surprised that this happened. I was awake from the early hours and couldn't lay back down.

Good hotel. Lots of activities for kids during mid term break. Evening kids entertainer which my kids thoroughly enjoyed and a nice outdoor play area as well. Good breakfast- however eggs could have been cooked properly.
There was evening buffet during the mid term school break when we stayed. It was quite kid friendly- however it was the exact same food for 2 days. It would have been better if the menu was slightly different and a bit more variety for adults! Also please include dessert next time- atleast some fruit and ice cream!
