We loved everything about our stay. The room was super spacious clean and had a fantastic view over the beach which my son loved. The staff every single one of them was really friendly. We had breakfast 2 mornings and an evening meal and was seriously blown away by how good it was especially the seafood chowder it was delicious. We would absolutely return, we actually stayed in the seamill hydro 1 night before our 2 night stay here so if you're debating over which one to stay at let me make it easy for you and pick this one you won't be disappointed!

There was a function on and we could hear the music a bit however we were messaged in advance of this which we really liked and the receptionist told us she tried to give us a room furthest away as we had a child. It finished about 11.30pm so not overly bad.

Very spacious, comfortable bedrooms Friendly staff Modern, well-equipped bathrooms Relaxed, warm atmosphere Furnishings are good quality and the beach house theme is lovely.

We had a bedroom facing the road and even late at night and early in the morning, there was a lot of road noise, but conversely there isn’t a lot to do in the area either, especially if you don’t want to drive everywhere. The restaurant serves a lovely food and there is plenty of choice on the menu but a two course meal with drinks for a couple can cost easily almost £100 which seems expensive for what is a relaxed, mid-market, pub food eatery. You need to have your car with you to make this location workable. We used the train to travel from Glasgow and found that once we arrived at West Kilbride station, there were no taxis and again, none to take us back at the end of the trip. This meant two 50 minute walks with luggage on routes that are not fully pedestrianised.

Been past the hotel many times before but decided to go for an overnight stay ! Found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely inside and we stayed in a deluxe room with sea view which was large and spotlessly clean. Stayed also with our small dog which was made most welcome by all the staff, giving her numerous treats and also gave her a doggie breakfast ! We dined in the restaurant which also had a seperate area for dogs and the food was lovely. Plenty of walks to the rear of the hotel onto the beach directly from the hotel gardens. Loved it and we will definitely return for another visit !

The view won this stay at hotel for me. The hotel being on the beach at a good cost for room was brilliant. The hotel is very doggy orientated too, and although I do have a dog, she wasn't with me on this occasion. I've recommended it to my friend who has two small dogs, and they also love the beach. The dining area was so lovely - the breakfasts were on point too with lots of choices. On the floor to the rooms, there were atrium type lounges with additional TV, that were wrapped around those rooms, and even open air ones too. For me, it's a lovely piece of unusual architecture to what looks like a normal building from outside.

The Bed's, I didn't get a very good sleep on them (twin room). They were very bouncy and noisy (no support). However, I said to staff when I left the hotel, as I'm a straight to point person. They had a chance to chat with me on this, and everything was explained very well to me. I also have a back and hip condition, so what didn't work for me, might be different for someone else though. It wouldn't stop me going back in the near future. The lift wasn't working on Day 1, but I managed the stairs with carefulness and taking my time. The lift was fixed very quickly for Day 2!

Lovely location and decor. Loved having the use of the spa at the sister hotel .Room was really large with balcony window. Nice menu.

Only a few small details could have made it better . At breakfast no ketchup or sauces and I had to ask for them and came in those little sachets . Asked for toast and only 2 slices between 3 people . The shower in the room was so stiff that we couldn’t get the cold water on so had a scalding hot shower . Smell of damp in the corridor outside the room.

We had an overnight stay as we were attending a wedding in a neighbouring hotel. Check in was quick and easy and reception staff helped with taxis. Although we did not spend a lot of time in the room the facilities available were excellent. Where we were super impressed was the breakfast available. My husband was able to finish his however I pointed out to the staff that I really enjoyed mine but was unable to finish it. If we ever find ourselves in Seamill in the future we will stay again.

That we weren't there longer to take advantage of the facilities.

The hotel is clean and bright. The hotel was booked as it was close to the Arran ferry. Due to Ferry disruption, our plans had to be changed, entailing an extra nights stay, when the original plan was again made possible the hotel was helpful and flexible. They allowed us to cancel the now unwanted extra night, the staff were very helpful and understanding. The room was clean, modern and the bathroom was very well decorated and clean. The view of the sea was great and the room on the beach side was very quiet and relaxing. The restaurant was very clean and the food good. Breakfast was also very good. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. A great stay and would highly recommend if using the Ardrossan ferry, 5 mins drive. It was also very convenient for the replacement Troon Ferry allow 30 mins for the drive. Good hotel car parking.

Could not find fault with our sea side room. The rooms on the road side could be quite noisy for light sleepers.

Rooms spacious. Double sized baths. Great views and staff are very helpful. Altho live Ayrshire, great place for a couple getaway from the kids :)) Cocktails selection is amazing and all facilities are second to none

Coffee- love my coffee. Instant at bfast, same dodgy nescafe as in rooms. And biscuits, ginger nuts. Short bread or tunnocks like most other similar hotels. Would be appreciated. Small details, as really pushed to find fault. Loved the stay!!!

Loved the location and the view from the room . Rooms were lovely too . Food in restaurant was excellent and staff were great. There was also great choice for breakfast in the morning

Came down at 21.30 for a drink at bar and possibly a snack as we had ate early and kitchen was shut. No bar snacks available. Bar was also shutting and we were told we could only get another drink at discretion of night porter. We didn't test this out as we didn't ask for another one and instead headed back to our room. It was a Wednesday night so maybe different at weekend. We would still return ....just remember to bring our own snacks next time

Lovely setting, the room was big and comfortable and it had the most breath-taking view from our widow. Breakfast was very nice too. I did feel it is quite pricey for one night (£195/night) with no actual access to the spa facilities included in this price. Dinner in the restaurant pretty good too.

The staff were slightly on the unfriendly side. Strange vibe from the staff serving in the restaurant as well. Something the hotel managers might wish to improve. It didn't feel like the people working there were very happy.
