My short stay was really great at Caithness Inn. I was warmly welcomed at the lobby by the hotel staff. The hotel was exceptionally clean and had great facilities. There were generous amount of tea and coffee available throughout my stay. The location is fantastic as it is close to Wick station which was helpful when travelling to other parts of the Highland. It was very clean and comfortable. Will stay again and recommend to others!

Historical small town, perhaps others might be attracted to.

Lovely big room and a good bathroom. The guy of the check-in was very friendly. He helped us out by carrying our motorgear.

The guy from the told us that we could park our motorbikes close to the hostel on the pavement. Shame enough a policeman came the other morning and told us that that was not allowed. Ticket £60.00. The policeman told us that he informed the guy from the Hostel many times, so he should have know. Don't think we getting the £60.00 each back.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I can see that the place has been newly refurbished and everything was really clean including the bathroom, which also had toiletries such as shampoo and body wash. The rooms also had tea and coffee which I thought was value for money. The location was good as I needed to travel around the Wick area.

Nothing.

I had a pleasant stay at the Caithness Inn, it was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and Salman was very welcoming and made me feel right at home. Place has been newly decorated so rooms were very clean. Even though they don’t serve breakfast, they have good options for lunch and drinks nearby. They even offer 10% off at nearby takeaways.

Nothing

I have been to a lot of hotels in a lot of cities, and i can say that this stay is the one i have enjoyed most in a lot of years. The room is spatious, the beds are nice and the facility's are clean. But what made this stay the most memorable is the hostess. On arrival we got a coffee and were greated with the utmost warmness. I cant quite remember the name of the lady. But in case you're reading this: thanks again for the good care and compassion. There should be more people like you in the world.

We rented a car in Edinburgh and arrived at night. At first we couldn't find the place, and it looked dangerous in the dark! :) It was actually perfectly fine on the main street which is pedestrian only (or is supposed to be :)! Our host was exceptionally nice. The public, free parking was literally behind the building across the street. We had the garrett room #7 which had the best view (not the harbor view which is probably also nice). It felt a bit "Hunchback of Notre Dame"-like, which we loved.

We were there for the weekend, and the high street is where people go out to eat and drink and get a bit rowdy. But we were cozy upstairs in our garret.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was on the top floor with great views of the harbour, bridge and river. It was clean and tidy, and the shower pressure was fantastic.

Plug point could be a little closer to the kettle.

Very comfy, clean, quiet room with great view over harbour. Centrally located in heart of the town with plenty of food options nearby. Handy for public transport, 5mins to train station & couple of minutes to bus stops.

Entrance and hallway in need of renovation and/or deep clean. Bit difficult to find initially as no obvious signage for it.

As a very last minute (10.30 at night thirty minutes before we arrived!) booking, they were polite and friendly and showed us where everything was. The manager spent half an hour chatting to us the next day over a cup of tea. Breakfast is toast and cereal in a guest kitchen, there's a fridge to put your own stuff or freeze off freezer packs. Room was spotless, decent amount of stuff and variety in the coffee/tea basket. Plenty towels. Nice and warm room. Ensuite, very clean. Central to town, lovely view out smaller window.

This is beyond their control to some extent - but it's hard to find, it's a maisonette above a shop on the main street, which is pedestrianised, on your left as you walk up the hill and just at the start of the pedestrian bit. It took us longer to find it than book it. No parking, free parking is just round the back and down the street by the sea, no CCTV on carpark, we had to bring in all our stuff up a hill in a howling gale. Not a big hill, certainly, but not great when it's been a long drive.

I stayed at the Caithness Inn during Easter holidays. Great staff! Kind, welcoming and very helpful. Ready to assist and answer questions if needed. The location is very good to explore all the surrounding area with free parking, and shops nearby. I travelled around and found the place to be a good base if you are planning day trips further away. It was very useful having the access to the kitchen and fridge, and electric kettle was available in the room too. Very clean. Bathroom was freshly refurbished. I arrived to Wick much earlier than planned, and was allowed to check in and leave my stuff before the official check in time without any problems. It was a big help especially after a long drive. I would happily visit again.

I enjoyed my stay.
