..A lovely hotel, ideal for our needs as we were going to a family party at The Golden Lion Pub, a 5 minute walk away. The staff in the hotel were efficient and friendly, the room (s) very comfortable, quiet and warm. Plenty of hot water and Elemis products provided in the bathroom, also a bath - bliss ! (not just a shower) perfect on a cold winter evening ! Breakfast served in Oscars was very good - hot buffet and all the other usual breakfast items: juice, fruit, croissants, toast, cereal , muesli etc. The bar also looked very inviting though we didn't visit as we were out for the evening. We would stay again if the price was the same ☺️

A spa would be the icing on the cake, but the lack of spa facilities didn't spoil our stay.

There was a party on (which we were informed about as soon as we booked) until 1am and the music was very loud considering it is a hotel. They did try to accommodate us as best as they could but it was still enough to keep me awake due to the location of our room being at the front by the function room and where people were smoking. There was also apparently leaking in the room below us so either the broken sealant around the bath or the overflow leak. No inconvenience for us really but the room below would have been.

Lovely setting and a good location for exploring NE Wales. Bedroom was large and airy. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The village of Rossett had some options for eating out.

Attention to cleanliness (dust accumulations) could be improved eg all the drawer handles had a recessed groove that was full of ? Level of service at breakfast varied upon the duty 'Crew'; on 2 of the 4 mornings we had to go and ask for our choice from the menu and tables were not being cleared and cleaned. The stay was not even by mid September but the hotel had a semi 'closed-up for the winter' feel.

I recently stayed at Rossett Hall Hotel and it exceeded all my expectations. The bedrooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and clean, offering a sense of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The restaurant is a true gem! Every dish was a delight, with a menu that balances creative flair and comforting flavors. The staff was attentive, ensuring an exceptional dining experience every evening. Slow breakfast service

The room was gorgeous. Very nicely decorated. Breakfast was nice. Dinner was excellent. The grounds were kept very nice. The bed was very comfortable.

First lady on reception was a bit blunt and we felt judged! I wasn't offered a room on the ground floor even though I am disabled and no lift. The corridors and window sills needed cleaning. There were events going on so we couldn't use the seating outside. No USB charging ports. The staff at dinner were very distant and we had to go to the bar to ask for the bill.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, well maintained, lovely spacious rooms, staff are very courteous and friendly. The restaurant Oscars attached to the hotel serves a wonderful selection of evening meals, each one cooked to perfection. I don't normally stay onsight at hotels for food as I have very high expectations and am often let down but the food was that delicious that we had every evening meal at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was also delicious with an excellent variety of dishes. All the staff in the restaurant were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The grounds of the hotel are so pretty with lovely well maintained gardens bursting with colour. A very peaceful and tranquil atmosphere throughout the whole venue. The whole stay was an absolute delight and if we venture down this way again, I wouldn't hesitate to book back into Rosset Hall.

Absolutely brilliant stay! Everything we needed and more & everyone who works there that we met was very friendly. We were looking for somewhere to rest our heads for one night during our journey & were very pleased with our choice. The gardens were beautiful and the property itself very well presented. Our room was larger than expected & the bed was super comfy. Dog friendly too & considerate of things dog owners worry about - for example, with the room they gave us (end of a corridor where no one will pass) and where they sat us for breakfast (completely separate and round a corner). Breakfast itself was excellent as well, very tasty with a great variety and quick service. We also walked through the function rooms and thought these were great- a beautiful place for a wedding! So pleased to have found such a welcoming place to stay on our travels and will definitely return.

The Building is Beautiful but Needs Lots of Tweeking we have been Going to Rossett Hall every year for the past 6/7yrs for either My Daughters birthday or Christmas and in all those years the Curtains in the Seating Area by Reception have STILL Not been corrected in some Areas they are hanging Off the Rail it would take a Handy man 10mins Max to Fix and would make a He'll of a Difference it looks Dreadful and if I was booking to have My Wedding or any Special Occasion there I would Think Twice !! Also all Rooms Should have a Mini Fridge ESPECIALLY Twin or Doubles and Finally the Breakfast wasn't the Best Sausages were Nice Toast was soggy wutshen it arrived had to put it back in the Toasting machine Poached Eggs were over done beans were cold Coffee was nice though The Grounds are Lovely and the Outside Area is very Pretty!

It’s an award winning hotel for good reason - from the rooms, to the customer service, everything is top notch! The bed was really comfortable, toilet was clean and the shower was good too. The most memorable part for me was my interactions with the staff - the lady working the reception on Saturday 7th was the loveliest and definitely deserved a shout out although I unfortunately didn’t catch her name. She even arranged for us to have a packed breakfast as we had to catch an early flight and couldn’t stay for breakfast, which we really appreciated. The cherry on top of the cake is the beautiful garden - makes for a lovely view first thing in the morning.

The room we were in was really hot and the window opened a tiny amount, it was therefore a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. The toilet door didn’t fully close, and the flush wasn’t very good. If not for these, the hotel would get a solid 10/10 from me, it was that good!

I booked this room late as an emergency when a member of the family fell ill. The lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. She gave us a lovely room, warned us about a wedding ongoing at the venue and recommended the food at the restaurant. She was right. The staff at the restaurant were good too, and the food was great. Breakfast was good, too - a wide selection of foods and a very decent cooked breakfast.

The wedding party was a bit loud, but stopped at midnight. They were loud over breakfast too, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Would be nice if people could be a bit more considerate of others - and not watch videos without headphones, either!
