Plenty of parking. Staff were lovely, special thanks to Ali to whom nothing was too much trouble 😁 Good-sized room, away from main road so there was distant traffic noise - but we sleep with window open, when closed traffic could not be heard so definitely not a grumble. Breakfasts are yummy, well-cooked and decent amount (cereals also available). Handily-placed with parks a short walk away, and a steady, level few minutes stroll to the nearest bars selling real ale so a huge bonus as far as we're concerned!

The shower room was a decent size however, the toilet was rather squeezed in - not a problem to us but some people may find it an issue (obviously will probably be different in other rooms!).

The staff were lovely, the room was very spacious and clean and really comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant and also the staff went above and beyond on the first morning as we had to leave before breakfast they make bacon and sausage sandwiches for us to take away and brought them to our room. Absolutely fantastic service. There was also a very good selection at breakfast, full English, fresh fruit juices and cereals different jams tea and coffee. One of the best we have stayed at when we have been visiting the area.

The only negative would be that the ensuite had a sewage smell so it was the first thing we could smell in our bed at night and in the morning

On check in I was immediately upgraded to the new wing as the bad weather meant the hotel was quieter than usual. The room was excellent- large, spotless, warm and with plenty of tea and coffee. Bed very comfortable too. Breakfast, good quality full English. Staff pleasant and helpful. I had arrived in the dark and forgotten to turn off my headlights which resulted in my battery being flat in the morning and with a hundred mile drive home ahead. The owner very kindly gave me a jump start and I was soon on my way. I have stayed at the Claremont previously and would definitely return again, Highly recommended.

Nothing - excellent service all round!

Check in was quick, pleasant clean room. Everything we needed for our stay, even toiletries, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, great service & friendly staff. We would stay again.

Only minor things, could have done with blackout curtains given that it is summer. There was also a bright light near the door, not sure what it controlled, but it was a very bright light, even when all in darkness. I’m afraid I do like total darkness, so personal opinion. Also could have benefited from a fan, but as I said, minor suggestions!

The property was very well signposted, good car parking facilities and check in from 2pm is nice. Greeted by a lovely lady, who checked us in and gave us our keys. Our room was on the first floor with 1 flight of stairs, couldn’t see a lift but we didn’t need it anyway. Room was nicely decorated with en suite bathroom, lovely shower. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a very good sleep and was a big enough bed ( we aren’t tiny people!) The room had a decent size tv on the wall facing the bed, a double wardrobe, desk with room to get ready and tea and coffee facilities. I did really like that it had a floor length mirror! Breakfast on a weekday is from 7am to 9am and has a varied selection of cereals and juices however, the full English is very small, looked like it had been under the lights in the kitchen for a while and didn’t leave slot to the imagination.

Unfortunately we did not really like the £50 deposit, we have never experienced this before and we where a little dubious, it came to us checking out and the deposit was charged back to my husbands card that it was paid from, however, we were informed it would take 24 hours and 48 hours later it still had t been refunded, it took a call and another wait of nearly 24 hours for the £50 to be refunded back into the card.

It’s been spruced up and looks and feels very modern. Prompt and courteous service on check in. Our breakfast service was exceptional as was the breakfast itself

I have visited the Claremont on many occasions and every time my stay has been second to none. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the facilities are everything you need and the breakfast is lovely, well cooked, cooked to order and more than great value for the price of the stay. The Claremont is well situated for easy transport routes and there are local shops nearby. What makes The Claremont special though, are the amazing people who work there. They give an extremely warm welcome to everyone who walks through the door, nothing is too much trouble and they make everyone feel like family.

From the moment we was greeted at the door the service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was beautiful, very well equipped, beautifully fitted and design of the room and plenty space. I honestly can't fault this hotel. Plenty of choice for breakfast in the morning including a cooked breakfast. Served efficiently. I would highly recommend for anyone who needs to stay in Preston or nearby. Easy to find and plenty parking spaces. Whole hotel was very clean. Nice touch that the tv was a smart tv and had access to Netflix and you tube and other streaming services.

I can't find a single fault.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little place to be honest. The room (33) was clean and comfy and well stocked with tea and coffee (though we would have liked some hand towels and sweetener), the bed was super comfy and the noise from the road wasn't too bad. The breakfast (vegetarian full english) was really nice, I saw another review saying they didn't offer vegetarian full English so I was really pleased to see they took that on board and started to offer it.

The lack of hand towels, the bar closed relatively early, and the water glasses left in the room were tiny. I think we'd have liked a pitcher of water too, but I'm sure had we been in earlier in the day one may have been brought to us. The car park was a bit higgledy piggledy but at least there's parking on-site, and the uneven steps from the car park to the hotel aren't very accessible friendly.

The room was nice and comfortable. Lovely walk-in shower. Most of the staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was good. Several choices of cereal, fully cooked breakfast or just the bits you want, a bit of fresh fruit.

Bear in mind we stayed 5 nights. A change in breakfast choices would have been nice. More fresh fruit and plain yoghurt would be good. The cleaners should be asked to clean marks and handprints from the walls and doors, particularly in the ensuite. They change the towels every day and don't offer for you to put them on the floor if you want them changed.
