Perfect for an overnight stay prior to catching a morning ferry to France. Easy parking and a straightforward route to the ferry terminal. Very clean and comfortable with a well-appointed shower room. Great range of facilities in a fairly compact space, including microwave, plates and cutlery, a nice touch being fresh milk in the fridge. Short walk to a range of food outlets including an M&S food hall.

The room is at the front of the house on quite a busy road but set back so noise wasn’t much of a problem.

I booked The Lily Pad at short notice as we wanted to get away for a couple of days. The room was slightly small but comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay. After visiting Kingston Lacey, Christine greeted us on arrival. Christine is an extremely friendly and helpful host, who informed us where we might eat in the evening and locations for breakfast the next morning. She had replaced the duvet with much cooler bedding on the large, comfy bed and provided a fan which was welcome for the hot night!! We followed Christine's advice and ventured to Poole Quay where there was an amazing motorcycle meet with approximately 450 to 500 motorbikes. Incredible! We had already spotted somewhere to buy fish and chips, Harlees, Corfe Mullen. The food was incredible! A perfect location for breakfast was Vines, on our way to Bovington Tank Museum.

The road outside the property is a main route to Poole; although it's very busy at certain times, it is quiet overnight.

We were in Poole to see a show at the lighthouse theatre. The location was great as only a 10 minute drive. Lovely host, spotlessly clean and great to have parking on site. Everything was exactly as described and true to the pictures. Was great having a fridge as it was very hot so being able to have sone cold drinks was a blessing. Would definitely return and 100% recommend.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and easy to contact. The room was really comfortable. Fresh milk, a fridge and a microwave were provided. The internet was reliable. The location was perfect for us. There was ample parking. Toiletries were provided. The kettle was pre-filled and there was a jug of drinking water provided. Tea and coffee were provided, as well as biscuits. The room was quiet and felt private. It felt secure. Check-in was easy and available until late. The property was easy to find.

The TV channels weren't working but we could use the Smart features. When we were looking for something, we found there were a couple of packets left by previous guests still under the bed. It would have been better value for money if something had been provided for breakfast. Decaff options would have been good, too.

Our stay at The Lily Pod near Poole was great. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the place itself was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. Perfect location- close to ferry terminal (approx 10 min drive). We would love to return – highly recommended!

Very convenient location for us, near family. But also great to be so central for exploring the area. Great local amenities too - we took up the host’s suggestion of Cafe Gardenia for breakfast, which was excellent. The room was self-contained and private, and well equipped with everything we could need. The provision of a fan was welcome on a hot day!

Nothing - all good

Lovely room in a lovely location with plenty to do nearby. Very clean and comfortable, the bed was extremely comfy. The host was very welcoming and eager to help. Would definitely stay again of we are in the area.

Could do with a hook to hang your coats, but apart from that it was wonderful.

Exceptional place to stay if you find it available. Very comfy bed, with excellent facilities, including a microwave and fridge. Even though on a main road, there was off road parking and I didn't notice any undue noise from outside.

Christine & Sebastian made us feel so welcome. It felt very homely. Fridge was a bonus. The bed was the comfiest that we have slept on. Great location. Easy walk into Broadstone. If we get back to the UK we will stay there again.

Perfect overnight stay, easy on site parking which is crucial for me after a long drive. Lovely greeting and access from Christine. 5-10 minute walk to the high street for plentiful choices of excellent restaurants. Very stylish room and clean bathroom, the pictures do it justice. Thank you
