I stayed in a Deluxe King Room with a beautiful sea view at the Lord Nelson Hotel, I was greeted with a warm smile from the lovely lady at the front desk, who was more than helpful. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant throughout the day/night was warm and inviting. The food was excellent and the staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, they were friendly, informative and very attentive. Upon my departure I decided to have a Sunday Dinner in the restaurant sat by a hand lit fire, it is truly one of a kind and not to be missed. I would highly recommend The Lord Nelson to be apart of anyone’s visit to Milford Haven.

Everything, the hotel was clean. Easy to navigate around. But most of all, the staff were amazing and friendly. The manager is a credit to the place, made me feel welcomed and made our stay enjoyable specially as i was traveling with toddler as a single parent. Remember little details, reserved a table and even helped me out when I locked myself out my room! The pub/restaurant, food was amazing. Catering to both children and adult. Breakfast was incredible! As someone with dietary restrictions, the staff took the time to help on what we could have. Cleaners were also amazing, they serviced the room. Left my toddler blanket in a heart shape which made her smile! (I am a cleaner myself, so can spot dirt or a smudge a mile away) I cannot fault there work. This is the cleanest room I ever stayed in, with the best servicing.
Sadly there was a party going on in the pub, there was a couple loud people but this is not the hotels fault.

This is an absolute hidden gem! We didn't expect much due to the low price, but we were presently surprised because it is absolutely fab!! The staff are all so friendly, even when my two young kids were crying! The rooms must've been recently renovated and are done to a high standard and are absolutely spotless. It had everything we needed, our room even had a huge walk in wardrobe! The hotel itself is gorgeous and so well decorated! We had breakfast here on two mornings, there really is something for everyone at a great price too!! We also had dinner on one evening, this also was great food, with good size portions! The food was delicious 😋 Overall an excellent hotel, we will definitely be back!!
Small car park at the back but this can't be helped due to the age of the building! We got on street parking both nights no problem! This isn't really a problem just something to note!!

As soon as walked in foyer, I was relieved; much smarter and cleaner than anticipated. Staff helpful. Huge room. Clean. Generous towels and toiletry supplies (soap etc) Fresh paint decor and smelled clean. A pleasant relief after many disappointing stays in tired musty country "hotel inns" with that awful Tudor style timber and sticky red carpet...
For a room hosting 4, only one chair? A huge wardrobe with hangers, but no shelves. Beds a bit saggy! Very hot at night, my wife struggled to sleep - needs a desk or pedestal fan. (can only open window a few inches. Bathroom ceiling had water stain/ peeling paint over shower, looks like a leak from room above. Bathroom door hard to open and close.

The bedroom was huge and airy with lots of natural light. The hotel has renovated and it lovely to stay somewhere that was nicely decorated, tidy and clean. Location is perfect for Milford town centre and having off street parking (on a first come served basis) is a bonus. The food is amazing from the breakfasts to the dinner - a huge thanks to the chef. All staff are very friendly and courteous. It is wonderful to stay in an establishment where excellent customer service is practised. I can highly recommend The Nelson Hotel in Milford Haven for accommodation and meals.
Feedback has been given to the hotel management about noise and light coming through the single glazed windows with blinds (internal secondary glazing or noise and light blocking shutters) Soap containers in the bathroom by the sink and shower would be useful.

Excellent care shown by staff. Very friendly and helpful esp as some were very young! We were offered a bigger room on check-in which was just lovely! Very clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable bed. We ate breakfast twice which was nicely presented and very good each day. We'd booked an evening meal with friends and that meal was delicious! Good range of drinks and again excellent service from young waiter. Parked outside first night without issue and in car park at back second day. Would definitely return or recommend.
The room was far too hot and manager instantly sorted this for us. Not a complaint, we're just not used to heating in our room at home so were cooking!

The receptionist who checked me in was so lovely but unfortunately the other staff were not, im from nowhere near here and how i was looked at and the dirty looks i had were quite irritating, the receptionist was the only one who made me feel welcome there but other than the staff and their dirty looks, the room was stunning and absolutely immaculate, the beds were beyond comfy and the bathroom was stunning! You would have said it was like staying at an immaculate done-up house! AMAZING place!! Some of the staff need to be more welcoming and not just to the regulars!

We loved the decor - dark and cool, with fun animal-themed paintings - and the staircase. It was a relaxing place to be, and particularly easy on the eyes. In the room, we loved the view out over the bay, and the comfortable, big beds! In the morning we enjoyed a vegetarian-friendly breakfast that was delicious. We were very happy to hear that dogs are allowed, so next time we shall bring our boys with us. A fantastic base for exploring the area.
It would have been nicer to have a wider range of options for breakfast, but what was there suited us perfectly. In the room, it would have been nice if we could have had the window open for airflow due to how warm it was. Also, the toilet seat slid a bit but was manageable.

Location great , breakfast great , staff excellent particularly Dorian who was available throughout our stay. Bed was small but comfortablle and sheets were pristine .
Room was under process of upgrade but we werent made aware of this before arrival . Appearance of hotel could show ongoing improvements of a good standard. Our room was quite small and certain areas were in need of attention. Room was listed as standard King Size but clearly only a double and so we didnt sleep particularly well . Shower head needed replacing, extractor in bathroom was not working, cap on toilet flush was missing, there was a 2inch gap under the fire door. There was only 1 plug not already in use available in the room. The decor was clearly due an upgrade , both carpets and walls.

This hotel offers everything. The decor in the bedrooms is very tasteful. They have also given the bar and dining area a new look, which is very tasteful. We had breakfast at the hotel. The food was absolutely delicious. Which was served by Rachel. Rachel was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This hotel also offers free parking . The location is ideal for the town and also for going to the harbour.
There was nothing not to like. My only small gripe would be the hospitality tray, which did not have decaf coffee. .
