Good night! We are some girls from Spain (Granada) that have come for a few days to London and we chose to stay at this amazing hotel. In just two days at this hotel, it has become our home, saving us from the cold streets of London. They gave us a warm welcome with a delicious hot chocolate, coffee, tea… that quickly finished because we drank it instantly. Nevertheless, the next day we had chocolate again, anda that healed our heart. As you can see in the photo (the first one) beds are huge and quite comfortable, and the TV is really modern (thank God that we haven’t stolen it), the only issue is that we couldn’t Watch la isla de las tentaciones in this tv (highly recommended, and the Chunguitos too). If you wanna try something similar to chocolate, you can try la morcilla española. In the second photo appears our bestfriend Prem: the best hotel worker in the world. He treated us so good as a mother with his newborn. That is why we wanted to compliment him because of his kindness. We were so brave that we asked him for a photo, and he said yes! Size only works for one person; my husband and I had to turn sideways to get by each other in the very limited floor space..... and no light above the sink

Location was amazing, you are extremely close to soho and the waterloo bridge. It was also a fairly busy street so it's not very dangerous at night if you are travelling alone. The underground is around 5 mins away by foot, so you could get anywhere fairly quickly.

My shower would make a lot of noise in order to get rid of the moisture. This is because there were no windows in my room. The noise could go on for 2 hours after you've showered. If you have a window, this might be better.

Clean, well-run, friendly. Perks such as free wine and cheese on certain nights, nice. Breakfast available for purchase. Free coffee. Good location.

Needed more hooks for towels and clothing, no place to put a suitcase. Try a fold down rack. Free wine was obviously cheaper and not as good as that on the regular menu. You had to commit to buying breakfast every morning to get the lower price, roughly $13-$14 per person. We had just arrived after a long trip, could not decide, would have had to pay more ($2-$3 more per person) if we wanted it. It was not a full breakfast anyway, although pretty generous. We ended up getting coffee, yogurt, pastry, etc. for much less nearby. We would have just preferred a smaller breakfast there for less.

The room layouts can vary slightly but size and facilities are very consistent and so, if you've stayed in Zhotels before, you know exactly what you're getting. I am a big Zhotels fan but this one is perhaps my favourite yet. The foyer and bar area is really inviting, with very nice interior architecture, space and atmosphere. The location is just about as good as anywhere in central London, there are Zhotels deeper into the westend but this one is about equal distance between theatreland/Soho and the finacial district/old City, so convenient if you're thinking of walking a lot. As standard, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Staff couldn’t be more helpful or more polite and friendly . I use the hotel for easy access to office ( across the road) why are there no toiletries? Toothbrush toothpaste etc that most hotels I’ve stayed in offer. And as a professional.. why is that rubbish all in one .. shower gel/ shampoo / soap attached to wall? Do you think I’m Going to run off with such shabby product? Toiletries are non existent, and I use hotel due to proximity to office but I no longer sleep under covers.. I sleep on top with my own scarf. I’ve come across hairs/ nails clippings on sheets. So I sleep above the covers with my own covering that I bring

Great location, very clean and well run hotel. Reception staff are a credit to hotel. Coffees better than nearby chain coffee shops & reasonably priced.

Thumping music from nearby nightclub. Reception were aware of issue, but have been unable to resolve with management of the club. Only affects a few rooms (222 in my case) that back onto club. Offered to change room (not taken as no guarantee would be quieter) & gave complimentary late checkout & free coffees. 2nd night club was much quieter & room very quiet. Room was very hot & a/c struggled to cool down.

The hotel is very conveniently located near Holborn underground station. It is very small and "boutique" but everything is high quality and very good value for money. The room I had was very small and would be challenging with more than one person, or one person with a lot of luggage, but for one person for a short stay it was very comfortable. The room does have a very small window but no view to speak of, but it does provide enough daylight to make it pleasant. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when travelling alone for a short trip.

No complaints. This is an excellent choice for single travellers for a short stay. Great accommodation in London at a very reasonable price.

I thought the hotel, staff etc were all brilliant. I brought my 14 year old daughter to London for her birthday, Mentioned to staff why I was going in an email attached to a few questions about locality etc and when we arrived they had made a birthday cake from towels and had balloons on our bed. It was such a lovely thing to do and was something you rarely see anymore without being charged for it. It's the little touches like that, that will keep this hotel as my go to for when I am in London.

The only thing was an extra blanket in the room would have been nice. But I am sure if I asked for one they would have provided it.

The location was great. Also loved both sliding doors at entrance making it easy to get luggage in/out. Loved the fresh fruit water which was easy to help ourselves too, a lovely welcome. Very nice staff looked after our luggage too after check out before we caught our train home. Lovely touches that make the stay so much nicer.

There needs to be more hooks to hang towels up after shower. This keeps them aired and enables them to dry quickly so guests can use them again. Lack of hooks in/near bathroom, so what do you do with your damp towel? 1 hook inside bathroom is not enough. The hanging hooks that are by the shower were great to hang coats, dresses, shirts etc but another of those alongside would be great for towels and handbags to get them off the floor. Thank you! Also surface space in rooms. You can't unpack a weekend bag. Would be great to have a slim console along corridor wall so you could put items on it as our little surface near kettle got crowded with change, snack, keys, etc.
