The pub. The food in the pub. The staff. Room wasn’t bad. Cleanliness was great especially as we had (by accident) booked a room that had to share bathroom toilet facilities with another room. Our fault and not the Captain Cook’s fault. Maybe not as obvious on Booking.com that room didn’t have en-suite.
At least 15-20 min walk to nearest tube. Buses do run outside but bit of a pain depending on where you’re heading. We ended up Uber’ing to Barons Court a couple of times because was raining. Pretty much 50 mins to West End. But maybe that’s why room is decent value for money. Room was a little bit tired. Eg window blind was tricky, a pillow case zip was broken so inside was falling out. But all this is nit-picking.

Big, clean and very nicely decorated room with a cozy bed. It was very quiet, you couldn't hear a thing from the pub underneath. Never made it to dinner at the pub, unfortunately, but it looked very nice and I could take drinks to the room after hours. Staff was very helpful and warm. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, Fulham is a really nice place to stay. Tube station Parsons Green is only a 15 minute walk through a quiet residential area; nice cafés around such as Matt's Café, Mil Kitchen and Vanilla Bean. Bus stops almost at the door, very convenient. Would definitely stay there again and can fully recommend it!
Additional wardrobe would be perfect and some hooks in the bathroom - but this missing is nothing which would stop me from staying there again, liked it a lot!

Spacious room, great location. Great tea supplies and comfortable bedding, windows with a view. Book with information and staff friendly. Key and code, checkout easy process. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. Or bus or tube close by.
No anti slip in the shower, awkward bathroom door had to step aside to get to the loo. Kettle too big and heavy. Disappointed that I asked cleaner to just put more teabags but changed bedding AND towels. I am environment friendly so felt this was unnecessary. But also I specifically said I didn't need them.

Adorable nautical theme room, bed was really comfy— kettle for coffee in the morning was nice, and the resteraunt downstairs is great, Spanish and pub fare ! The tube stops are about 0.5-1 mile away, a bit of a walk but the neighborhood and scenery are beautiful so super pleasant walk. Tesco Express just up the street for cheap snacks etc. Really loved being away from the hustle and bestie of central London. Staff and owner were lovely.
There’s no minifridge in the room for keeping leftovers /drinks cold, that was about the only minus— but we just bought crisps and dry snacks from tesco that didn’t need refrigeration so it was fine. Plus you will probably be eating out anyway! I would definately book again!

The staff at the pub and landlord were all extremely friendly and helpful! I was taken to my room and provided with clear instructions. Room was a large double, with all basic amenities, clean and a comfortable bed! The area was extremely nice and quiet at night, the pub itself also appeared to be lovely! Great location for those exploring London or planning to visit a football match at one of the west London clubs (15 minute walk to Stamford bridge, around 25 minutes to cravens cottage). Overall a great option for those on a budget.
For the price I was really happy, the only thing I will state is the rooms do not have their own bathroom/shower. As such these facilities are shared by others on the corridor. This wasn’t an issue as I was only staying one night, and it was quieter midweek.

Lovely accommodation over a very nice pub/restaurant. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was fantastic. I mean, really, really good. Very impressed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return. The location is great for anyone going to a Fulham or Chelsea football match. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Bathroom down the hall from room, so not ensuite for our room. I'm sure other rooms are ensuite, so be sure to ask for this when booking. Only a small inconvenience though.

It was the second time we’d been in The Captain Cook on a trip to London. We decided quickly to return for this trip because our latest visit was really positive back in October, and didn't disappoint us. What made us go back and we’ll do the next time for sure, is the quality of their service. We had the opportunity to meet the owner last time and she’s a beautiful person who truly loves The Captain Cook, their team, and puts her soul into their business, that’s something you can feel talking to her. The first time we went we weren’t sure because our room had sharing bathroom and toilet, and we’d already had bad experiences in other places, but you don’t need to worry about it here; they keep everything clean and check them from time to time to be sure everything keeps impeccable. The service is perfectly trustworthy, if they say they’ll be there in two minutes to attend your request, be sure they’ll be as much as they can. We asked for an iron, and the woman in charge was there in a breath with it. Is in a quiet neighbourhood but you’ve Hammersmith in a few minutes by bus, and the underground station just walking for about 15 min., which is our favourite way. And last but not least important, the food is so good. Couldn’t have dinner there this time, but we did it two times in October and the cook is perfect. If you love Spanish food be sure it is worth it. One last pro, the bed felt like a cloud.
Just to say a thing: remember it is built in an old house, this is a real English inn experience, so the windows don’t cut off very well the wind. Anyways, it’s something you can deal with, and back in October, we weren’t cold.

The room was particularly spacious with a very comfortable king-sized bed. Apart from a wedding the first night we stayed it was reasonably quiet, but it is on a main road so traffic is obvious. The location is really handy for travelling into London with various bus routes within walking distance into London or metros. It is also very close to the Thames and some nice eateries within walking distance. The staff were really friendly and service great. The restaurant downstairs has fabulous food options for dinner, with Spain tapas a feature. Probably better than some we had in Spain. The Mil Cafe recommended for breakfast a short way down the road served some of the best breakfasts we had in the UK, and you get 10% off if you mention you stay at The Captain Cook. We had a room with shared bathroom facilities. No issue there they were spotless and no problem with access.
No issues really but to mention we had two flights of stairs to room with luggage if you have problems with mobility.

I thought the hotel was really excellent and characterful. I loved the big double room and the thoughtful touches. The restaurant bar was fabulous with lovely two king lights comfortable chesterfield and great dining experience. We also very much enjoyed the tapas dishes. I shall definitely stay again at this delightful pub /hotel 👌
there was a bit of revelling from the pub opposite but it finished around 11 pm and we could hear the traffic. We were hot and so opened the windows but had not noticed the air conditioning unit. But overall we were very pleased with the whole experience.

From the initial reception, the service was excellent and very welcoming. A lovely restaurant with rooms attached accessed via an external door to the restaurant. The room was larger than expected, beautifully decorated, a welcome warmth and cosiness on a bitter cold day. The bed was super comfy, couple of armchairs and a table and enough room to swing as many cats as you like! The bathroom was a little on the small side but functional, great shower and lovely towels.
