The staff were lovely, really cheerful and kind. The room was massive, the bed huge and very comfortable. We got upgraded to a kingsize, river view for free, which was really appreciated. As was the 11am checkout, biscuits, water and mini fridge. The shower was the best I have used in a hotel in a long time. We checked in after 11pm and it was no problem. The breakfast was buffet style and contained a hot breakfast as well. I loved the location, such a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. Really wide corridors and lifts everywhere, which I feel would be great for people who are assisted with their walking, those who use wheelchairs, or for those of us who like a bit of space. It is first on my list of the place to stay in South and Central London next time. 5-10 minutes from the DLR underground stop Customs House. We parked at the ExCel arena which is 5 minutes' walk away and is £25 for 24 hours (no hourly rate, I think), which is steep but secure. You pay on the way out with a card at the barrier, so nice and easy. For disabled drivers with blue badges there are spaces within seconds of the hotel (see the pic with the trees in).
Not what we didn't like, but a note to anyone who is staying in a yacht / ship hotel. The window in the room does not open, (which makes sense on a sailing vessel but I didn't realise). There is air conditioning though, but for an outdoor breeze you need to go on deck :) It would be nice to have teapots and a milk jug option, so you don't need to keep going back for a cup of tea at breakfast.

Great location, staff amazingly helpful and polite, clean and spacious rooms. Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed in London.
Only fault I can raise about my stay was the food we had. The burgers we ordered were very dry and bland. But that’s the only thing I can say bad about my stay and that’s a very minor thing.

The Yacht Hotel is a beautiful 4-star hotel with an impressive entrance, situated in an excellent location surrounded by stunning views. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer a breathtaking view of the Royal Docks. Additionally, the hotel provides a variety of breakfast options to suit different preferences.
This marks my second stay at your hotel. During my visit, I realised I needed to extend my stay by an additional two nights. I approached several staff members at the reception desk, most of whom informed me that they were unable to assist due to the hotel being fully booked. However, my experience improved significantly once Ms. Euridice, the hotel manager, and Luca began their shifts. Their professionalism and assistance were exceptional, and they successfully reinstated my positive opinion of the hotel. I am truly grateful for their support and dedication during this time. Thank you once again for resolving the matter so effectively.

The location was excellent for easy access to the Excel which we were attending during our stay. It was also convenient to get the Cabe Car across the Thames to the O2. The room was fabulous. We had a balcony with River view and it was stunning. The whole place had a feel f being on a Yacht without being overly nautical. Everything was clean and well presented. Breakfast was ok. I was pleased that a veggie sausage option was given. You had to request this but the serving was delivered quickly and they tasted delicious. Service to replenish the hot food was quick and efficient and requests were dealt with quickly.
During our stay the main bar had been hired for an event so the facilities for guests were moved to the 5th floor which had limited seating as well as no draught beer options. This was ok but not ideal. My only criticism of breakfast would be the breakfast eggs. The scrambled eggs were too sloppy for my taste and the fried eggs looked like they'd just been thrown from a distance on top of each other into the tray.

We liked the serenity, ambience and calmness of the place. I felt very relaxed and comfortable here. We’d also had a faulty air conditioner which we reported and it was dealt with immediately by switching our rooms. Thank you Sunborn staff, you’re super amazing and you made our stay forever memorable
I was rather disappointed that they didn’t have a varied range of vegetarian/vegan food options, as I am one, and would suggest their menu is improved on this, otherwise the restaurant and staff were top Class 1.

The hotel was such a lovely experience, we wanted to stay in London, but something a little different to a ‘normal’ hotel. This yacht was just the perfect answer, we loved it! Breakfast was really good, I am Gluten intolerant and they made me fresh toast every morning and there were also gluten free cereals available too. The buffet was a full cooked breakfast and also each day there was a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, bread/ toast, various pastries and also preserves including Nutella and marmite. Drinks were available freely, a choice of infused water, orange juice, apple juice and a machine for tea/ coffees and hot chocolate. All staff were really friendly, courteous, helpful and polite. Our cabin was really spacious, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in whilst away from home! The location was perfect for staying in London, with access to the DLR and the Elizabeth Line within a short walking distance. We would definitely like to stay here again!
The wi-fi for the cabin we were in was very temperamental. On our last night, the people above were quite noisy for a long period of time, but it didn’t keep my daughter awake.

One of the nicest hotel experiences I've had. The location is perfect, with breathtaking views. The staff were all lovely, extremely helpful and really went over and above. No comparison in price for the experience of this beautiful accommodation. The rooms were huge, tasteful, excellent facilities, underfloor bathroom heating, comfortable beds and a balcony. You just can't get that for a standard room in a regular hotel for a marginally cheaper price. I really can't wait for the next trip to London, this is the only place I will be booking in future Thank you for an amazing stay

It was beautiful. The room was gorgeous, the location was perfect for the O2 arena. The bar was very comfortable and food excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
There wasn't anything for us to dislike about the Sunborn Yacht. The only thing to be mindful of is that if you stay there to attend a concert at the O2 the cable car doesn't run late enough to return. We found out the hard way although the guy on kiosk told us is ran until 2 minutes to midnight, therefore we paid for a return journey. However the tube was very quick and easy even with the thousands of fans flooding it and the station is only a short walk from hotel.

The room was very well appointed, spacious and clean, as well as being well equipped. Staff were all helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, although had to remind the waiting staff of additional drinks ordered as they'd appeared to have forgotten. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality/variety and although the restaurant was busy at breakfast, dishes were constantly being replenished. This hotel is in an excellent location for the Exel and the reception and public areas are impressively furnished.
The only reason I haven't given the top comfort rating is because there was a bit of a stale smell in the bathroom, a little like stale smoke, although after a while it wasn't noticeable. Also I had a bit of a disturbed night, partially due to some very loud and inconsiderate guests on our floor, which I know is not the fault of the hotel, but also in the middle of the night a light on the bottom of the TV suddenly started flashing, alternately a blue light then followed by a red light. This went on for some time before stopping. The air con is definitely needed as the room was on the warm side and it wasn't hot outside, the bar area was also quite warm.
