I booked this room purely to crash out after a late night at a city event. To be frank, I slept in it for about 3 hours before heading to an early morning meeting. Therefore my experience was mainly as someone who was asleep. The hotel has a great location, and the room was very clean and tidy. The reception asked for photographic ID which was nearly a problem as I didn't have my driving license with me, but fortunately they accepted my corporate ID.
The hotel was perfect and met my requirements, which was a 3-hour recharge and shower before returning to the office.

Location really good, 3 steps from the office. Room small but that was clear from the website and it was only a bed for the night so adequate. Nice touch with the breakfast muffin and a small fridge to keep the water cold. Staff on reception was fantastic. Very helpful.
The budget room had a little ladder to climb into the bed. I have a bad back and just not possible. Reception kindly moved me to the only other room they had and no extra charge. He even carried my bags from 1 room to the next

This hotel is all about location. It's perfectly located for the City, in a quiet spot, just yards away from "busy". It's an unassuming building, but a perfect bolt-hole for anyone with meetings or events in the City.

You get this hotel for the location, which is amazing for the City. The rooms are tiny, so you don't want to share, but for one night by yourself, they're great. The room is very hot, which means you have to use the aircon or open a window - I found it quite hard to get the right temperature. A good crashpad, though.
As I mentioned, the room is quite hot. Also, you must go expecting a small room designed for a lone person. If you expect a large room, you will be disappointed.

Great compact hotel. This is one of the best London hotels I have been to recently for this price range. The room was very compact but had everything you need and was very clean and comfortable. Great for a quick business trip. London hotels can be hot and noisy a lot of the time. I was worried when I entered the room that it was very hot and had no windows, but was relieved to find AC which worked a treat. Great location too. I’d come back here.

I really enjoyed staying at this small hotel. I was staying alone while visiting relatives. This hotel is ideal for the lone traveller and is in a great location for onward travel from London or London itself. It is walking distance from Liverpool Street main station and Underground and the Bank Underground Station. Check in and out is very quick and efficient. The room was small but clean, warm and I wasn't disturbed by outside noise. If you are looking for facilities such as breakfast or a bar this is not the place for you. Quite an easy hotel to find. I received an online check-in before I arrived but the link did not work although the check-in at the desk via an ipad type screen was very quick. Why they needed my date of birth I don't know but I didn't feel it was an intrusion. The bathroom was small but clean and practical. Muffins were in the fridge in the cupboard which was a nice touch. Excellent amount of tea and coffee facilities in the room. Wi-fi worked ok for light browsing. I will definitely be back and if I bring my wife that might be a different review but for or me on my own it was excellent.
The online check-in link before I arrived did not work although I received two emails asking me to check in.

The hotel is in a small quiet alley in the City overlooking an ancient building. All around there are high and modern skyscrapers, and the contrast is very nice. The location is very convenient to reach all attractions and the airports.
The room was small, the bed only 140 cm large. They had offered a bigger room but at the ground floor, and we were afraid of the noise and lack of privacy.

the room is small but enough for one person, location was perfect for me as it was close to the two metro stations "Liverpool street & The Bank Station and it was close to the venue where I was attending the conference. So the location was excellent. Bathroom is clean and has everything I needed... enough towels, everyday room cleaning,....

The location was great and the staff was very welcoming. Really close to Liverpool Street if you are coming or going to the airport. The room was very clean and functional though pretty small. There is a compartment under the bed where you can put you luggage out of the way. The bathroom was also very clean and updated.
It would be even better if the room had some hangers in the walls for the jackets or clothes/ towels both in the bathroom or in the room. There are hangers in the wardrobe but there is not enough space for a jacket.

As a returning guest - i loved the place when I discovered it and always look to see if it is free if i am going to London. A short walk from Liverpool St or Tower Hill and in the heart of the city right next to The Gherkin. It is a gem in the middle of all the high rise buildings of the city near St Mary Axe church. Great wifi, had the best sleep in the bed - so comfortable, bathroom fresh and modern, spotlessly clean and even though they don't serve food they give you tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and cupcakes for each person in the fridge. if you want food you can call Uber Eats but just over the road is M&S food hall and you can keep it your food in the fridge until you need it. Also they give you a bottle of water each. I haven't been here for a while but it was great to return and see the quality and rooms is still at a high standard and everything was just as I remembered it. I will be back again for sure. Great for overnight or long weekends stays
Really tough but just so I there is some balance - some people may find the rooms a little small - with the bed there is not a lot of room before the bathroom wall. Maybe an extra bin in the room as the only bin was by the toilet. The windows have sound proofing but you do hear some residual noise from building construction but that stops by late afternoon However, saying this I am being picky .... from comfort, cleanliness, location and set up - they have done a great job creating such modern, fresh rooms in a historic building. Not much room in the wardrobe if on a long stay nor drawers, except small ones in the bedside tables - but this has obviously been done to keep it less cluttered
