I was travelling alone and on a budget, all things considered, value for money, comfy, clean and friendly staff! I was doing lots of walking and it helps to have a bath for aching muscles, which you don't usually get in a single room, especially a budget single so I was extra happy about that!
I honestly had no issues; it depends on your needs. I wanted a budget room with basics and a bath for a home base, and that's what I got. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. The food was good from the restaurant and local cafe, and the area was beautiful. I hope to go back for another visit.

Nice private room tucked away behind the cafe. It was far enough from the main road that it was very quiet, and the room was very comfy. The staff were very friendly and incredibly dog friendly! Drumnodrochit is quiet this time of year (December) but there is a lovely little pizza restaurant in town that kept me well fed.
The room was very dark, and the lights were positioned so that the only place that was illuminated was the bed. Not normally an issue, but as I was traveling for work, it made it slightly challenging that I couldn't use the desk in the room.

When the hotel realised that someone who deals with their social media had made a mistake on the description of our room stating that it had mountain views which none of the rooms do ! They where quick to give us both a free breakfast worth over £30 to make up for the mistake It was Sharon who sorted everything I think she was the manager ,she was very nice and quick to sort things out for us
The wee guy on the desk at the front had as much life as a funeral home , we had to ask where and how to get to our room as he just said (here room 17) and put the key card down and went back to what he was doing , not a very warm welcome for such a famous hotel

Great location for exploring wider Inverness area. Popular with families and walkers. There is a cafe, restaurant, ice cream shop and 2 gift shops on site. Short walk into the village for small village shop, gift shop and a couple of restaurants. The room was lovely although walls were a bit thin and could hear neighbours at times. Staff were nice. Plenty of parking on site. The restaurant was nice but we felt it was a bit overpriced for the quality of the main courses we received but the starters and desserts were fab. We felt it was a bit expensive for room only although we left it really late to book which may have limited the options available.
Breakfast wasn’t included in the price.

Great location on the way and at the lake (but we didn't come because of it). It's a bigger complex, but our lodge room was secluded from the main buildings and had that countryside cabin feel which I liked. The room size was also allright. There was heating which we could use. I could also park right next to the room, there was generally a great amount of parking space. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
I don't believe there was a fridge available, which would have been useful.

It was newly decorated and the room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. I liked the fact that the blind was built into the window and kept most of the light out.
The biggest thing was no mirror in the room for my wife todo her hair and makeup, easy fix, in room 17 above where the kettle was a mirror here would be perfect. Also hook for a dressing gown in the bathroom door would be good. But why were the walls painted magnolia when the room was grey? So decor didn’t match accessories

It’s a bit quirky! They’ve upgraded rooms, we had a fabulous wallpaper of stags, foxes and rabbits. Our shower room was black and sparkly. Staff were great, food was really good. We will be back. One small observation - info in the room about the hotel facilities, times for bars/ restaurant etc was sparse. A page with all of that would be helpful. But that’s a minor comment.

We stayed on Saturday 14th and were in one of the 'Lodge' rooms, an annex with a few rooms within it. We wished we had got there a little earlier to sample the Gin Distillery, which closed early than expected that day. Lots of good souvenir shops in the area. Rooms were very nice (wood) and very comfortable. We purchased breakfast on Sunday morning which was good value and delicious. Check in and check out was a breeze!!

We stayed in main building and the accomodation itself was perfect. It was tidy and clean, beds were comfortable.
When someone walked in the next room, you could hear the floor creaking as if they were walking in our room. Breakfast is open to everyone (not just hotel guests) and you pay for each meal/drink as you would in a normal restaurant. Although this is not a big problem, the value for money is questionable. I recommend eating somewhere else.

The hotel is located in a great location for exploring the surroundings both by car and by public transport the room was clean, cozy, with bed confertevole, good lighting and a view from the window rather pleasant; also the bathroom was very functional with also the tub option that I really enjoyed .The staff was really friendly and friendly throughout the stay.Personally I did not find the rooms noisy. The breakfast offered various great choices to start the day. Indefinite choose this accommodation again for future visits here.
Just small improvements: I would add something of food in the welcome kit but it was ok too; and the key to the room door was sometimes a bit hard but nothing that...
